It’s great! One of the authentic Mexican cuisines in the town. Great staff and home feels atmosphere.

This is by far the best place to get alpastor tacos and I've ate at pretty much all the Mexican places. I have not tried their other food but I get alpastor tacos at least twice a week from here. Service is fast always been hot and always DELICIOUS.

Family friendly, bigger than it looks and decent portion size. I give it a strong 3 because the prices are not clear and some of the prices are high. The tacos are most popular and i can understand why because they are 1.75$ each. Over all yes it was a good choice and would go again because 1) I love Mexican food and 2) its one of a few Mexican restaurants that offer tradition Mexican food items.

Best Mexican food in Peoria! I got the chips and green salsa, steak tacos dinner and Victoria beer. I highly recommend it. The staff was friendly and helpful. The interior looks like a classic Mexican joint. All around excellent visit, cant wait to go back!

On previous visits, there were almost always issues. With the food, the order, and mostly just a lack of the ability of the staff to effectively communicate in English. I tried my hardest to do most of my order in Spanish, but i dont know that much really. 😕 food:4, service:1, atmosphere:2 🤗 There were new people there this last visit. Women in the kitchen and an older woman (abuela) cleaning tables as people left. Felt more inviting when we walked in. There weren't any communication difficulties and our specially ordered burrito was correct and YUMMY! Thanks for this new experience! I will try again for sure!

Attended a business event there and had the opportunity to try a variety of comfort food items. They were all very authentic and delicious, especially the homemade chorizo, and also the lengua tacos.

Food looks better than it tastes. I went for the first time today and tried a variety of items. I ordered an order of nachos with ground beef, one steak taco, one pastor taco, and one chorizo taco. The ground beef was very bland, the pastor was hardly seasoned, there was some steak pieces that were very flavorful and others that literally tasted like nothing. All of these meats were drowned out by the flavor or onion and cilantro. As for the chorizo, it was the mildest I have ever had. Usually chorizo has a good kick to it, but this one missed the mark for me. The chips were good, but they were extremely oily and rather cold. Not this is a huge deal, I still ate them. Perhaps I went on an off day, but I do not foresee going back or ranting high praises of my experience. One note to those who have not been there, order ahead of time if you are going at lunch hour. I waited 10 minutes to order, and 30 minutes for my food.

Friendly staff. Great food. Fresh fried chips. Only thing they are missing is chunky salsa.

If you want fresh authentic food, look no further. The homemade chips are amazing. Ours we hot fresh from the fryer!

So yes this place was good I ordered three taco steak and the pork with salsa Verde rice n beans and meat was tender great flavor a tad salty but it was good I was satisfied tortillas on the side to sop up those juices lol and the steak tacos was great to very well seasoned meaty and it was hot still bout time I got home it was still hot that's a plus for me!

Such good food. Been for brunch multiple times and dinner just as many. But matter the time it's always been incredible food and great drinks.

I am from San Diego I know mexican quisine. this is probably the best place for mexican food and the nearest to authentic mexican food. they are missing the hand made tortillas and some Jamaica, horchata or tamarindo fresh water. they do have some authentic sodas which was great. the carne asada was well seasoned. the tortillas were soft and good. the al pastor meat was waaaaaaay over seasoned... too much pineaple and too much cinnamon. if they eased up on the pineaple and the cinnamon that al pastor would be great! the birria tacos "cripy" were great! meat was very soft and not chewy which means that they properly stewed it! the flavor was there and properly seasoned it was missing the clove flavor but was very good. their table salsa was very good and the right spicy. the totopos or chips are made there not store bought so defiinately good! i was told that we were not i the best of neighborhoods but I honestly felt safe. the only reason it got low stars on atmosphere is because some guys came in looked around and walked out. was somewhat weird but they left.
