When
we
got
our
dog
Jaxy,
Whitney
was
the
best
of
the
best
so
it
was
an
easy
decision.
This
was
5
years
ago.
The
care
that
she
received
in
the
last
2
months
has
been
below
sub-par.
Jaxy,
a
hound
mix,
had
a
hematoma
in
her
ear
(common
for
her
breed).
A
surgery
was
scheduled
for
10
days
out
so
she
suffered
through
the
waiting
period.
Once
the
surgery
happened
we
were
told
that
she
was
on
mend.
2
weeks
latershe
went
in
for
a
checkup.
We
were
told
that
her
ear
was
still
healing,
the
sutures
weren't
ready
for
removal
but
they
would
be
at
a
later
date.
Otherwise,
the
ear
was
healthy,
no
signs
of
infection
or
any
problems.
We
were
prescribed
additional
antibiotics
for
'prevention'
of
any
infections.
After
seeing
signs
of
infection
at
home,
we
reached
out
to
Whitney
to
check
and
see
if
there
were
any
problems.
To
which
they
replied,
the
ear
had
been
infected
the
whole
time
due
to
the
ear
wrap
she
had
been
prescribed
to
wear
24/7.
During
this
interaction,
I
was
informed
that
a
break
room
conversation
had
occured
where
the
entire
office
had
agreed
that
I
was
a
rude
individual
(for
being
frustrated
with
my
neglected
dogs
care).
After
an
additional
follow
up
appointment,
we
were
cleared
and
told
that
the
ear
was
clean
and
good
to
go.
Because
of
the
issues
we
had
been
having,
we
were
hesitant
to
take
any
of
their
advice
at
face
value.
We
scheduled
a
follow
up
with
a
different
practice
and
we're
informed
that
her
records
showed
her
missing
routine
shots
for
years
on
end
and
the
ear
was
still
not
healing.
Another
prescription
was
needed.
All
that
being
said,
I
write
this
after
a
10-14
day
cool
down
period,
as
to
not
be
haste
with
my
judgement.
Clearly,
Whitney
is
no
longer
interested
in
treating
sick
dogs.
They
were
more
interested
in
the
acupuncture
patient
that
came
in
while
I
was
there.
Their
first
plan
is
to
drug
animals
into
submission
and
throw
quick
band
aids
on
big
problems.
Be
careful
going
to
Whitney
with
your
four-legged
friends.
