I've been a member of this club for nearly a decade and can highly recommend it for business networking. I've also attended dozens of social functions and special events and can say that the experience was exceptional. The environment is modern and inviting, the staff is seasoned and professional and the food is delicious. I would not hesitate to have a business or social gathering there.

This place is fantastic! I will start by saying I was fortunate enough to dine here because this restaurant has an excellent reputation and is MEMBERS ONLY. I only say that because you won’t want to just show up and expect to be served, do some homework and find a way in because it is totally worth it. From the Cotton Candy Bacon to the Beer Chicken Breast to the Pimento Cheese burgers this restaurant has the most creative and delicious food. Full bar and the manager and waitstaff are some of the most knowledgeable people I have met when it comes to wine and liquors. This is a must dine place if you can make it happen! I could see how being a member would totally have its perks. No to mention the best panoramic skyscraper view of all downtown Raleigh.

City Club Raleigh is a super nice business and social club through parent company ClubCorp. Great member benefits like golf reciprocity at a number of area clubs. Sitting on the top 28th floor of the Wells Fargo building adjacent to the state capital building brings an upscale feel to this great space to meet clients or for social events! Highly recommend!

With this review, I sent them a notice to cancel and all I got back was a canned email that I'm sure they send everyone. These people don't care about their clientele and based on the revolving door at the staff level...it shows.. The picture attached is what you get for $87. A 14 ounce steak bone included-no sides. I used to go to this Club for the dining experience but when I heard they got a new chef....well...they got a new chef and boy have things gone downhill in a bad way. My steak was $60 and then they added in a 21% service fee (in addition to my monthly membership fee) and then I still needed to add in a 21% tip for the server who had the nerve to ask me if we wanted a bread service. Take your money and go somewhere else. Golden Corral cooks a better steak than what I got that night...A guest that was with me that night could not believe they had shrimp fried rice on the menu and said it would served in a take home cardboard Chinese restaurant box....Really...what an out of touch choice.

We had our Rehearsal dinner here. I gave one star for the beautiful view and one star for the effort of our contact there, Emily. Now, this is why I only give it 2 stars. 1.The Club proclaimed they had audio specialists for worry free management of our music, slide production, etc. and it was part of our package. We came to find out they had no specialists (techies) and the folks that tried to help were incompetent. One mic did not work for the beginning of our toast. The first few minutes of our slide presentation (which my wife spent 4 weeks producing) could not be heard because staff did not know how to turn up volume. They did not start the background music on time at the beginning of the event. The music kept cutting off and they did not know how to fix it. The response we got from the manager was that was because we used our own laptop instead of spending $150 to use theirs! 2. We asked that if people come early to guide them to the bar. Staff did not do that. Folks were wondering around in the room before we got there. I asked staff to please start the music and they were rude saying they need to finish their prep meeting first! The response we got from management was that that wasn't included in our $8K package! 3. The staff served the WRONG main entre for dinner! We specifically did not want fillet of sirloin because we know it's hard to please everyone's taste (rare, med, well done). My wife and I could not eat our steaks because they were overdone. The manager said they served what we ordered. You would of thought that is one detail they would have confirmed with us in writing before the event but they did not. We gave the City Club manager an opportunity to make things right in the way of some compensation but he refused. We hold no grudges, but informed him we would have to be honest and truthful about a review for his Club. Thank you for reading. I truly hope your experience will be better than ours if you choose them.

Raleigh’s most elite social club. Located on top of the Wells Fargo building on Fayetteville Street in downtown Raleigh,NC it has a commanding view of the entire area. This two floor space is perfect for weddings, events and special occasions. This night was the Charity Classic event which highlighted the local Dancing with the Stars of the Greater Raleigh area.

The ambiance and composition of the building were par excellence! The food was tasty too! I modeled a vintage hat collection for a birthday event.

Gorgeous space atop the Wells Fargo building in downtown Raleigh. A perfect location for meetings - large or small, a great meal with a client or co-worker, attend a networking event, or an easy escape from the office to get some work done. The exemplary service and the panaramic skyline views don't hurt either.

The food and drinks here are absolutely amazing. Couple this with the views and you’ll have a nice place to take a date, or to have a business lunch or dinner. There also lots of conference rooms accessible to members, included with your membership.

I always love going to City club! The food is just phenomenal! I mean there are very other few places that even come close to comparing! The staff is amazing! The utmost in professionalism! And the view overlooking downtown Raleigh at the top of the Wells Fargo building? Not to mention the decor, the beautiful marble stairs, I could just go on and on about how much I love this place!

Met up with friends, a pescatarian and gluten-free diets. The menu had items that fit for all. The burger was fantastic, the ribs were delicious, and the crab cakes were authentic and tasty. Some items were even marked GF for gluten-free. Our sommelier was very knowledgeable and our waitress was very kind and patient. Would definitely come back!! The carrot salad was not my favorite because it was quiet small, but I did enjoy the cheese crumbles and orange flavors in it. The location is everything! and the views!!! The views are incredible 😍

I was there for a company sponsored event. Nice layout on the top floor of the Wells Fargo building. Great tapas spread.

My first time here, and it did not disappoint. First, the view is awesome. Second, go get your shoes nurtured by Mccoy. Great place for a business meeting. We did not eat, but the food looked delicious.

City Club is such a great option for couples who want a quintessentially RALEIGH wedding. The ballrooms are gorgeous and there are perfect portrait options all around downtown. Take it from Kivus & Camera, local Raleigh wedding photographers: you won't regret having your event here!
