Super comfy and cute place. Lots of common areas to hang out. Cozy room with all the essentials. Was able to walk everywhere and convenient parking in the rear. Even had umbrellas available which came in handy when it rained. Easy to communicate with the staff. Would stay again.

Missed my flight and needed last minute accommodations. I saw the photos and 4.8 stars and booked it quickly. I was absolutely blown away when I walked in the front door. The decor was so cute and everything was so clean! I felt very safe in my room/ the house which is important to a solo female traveler. The tiny Danish ghosts made me squeal with joy. I bought two of them in my room. There isn’t anyone physically there, so you can call or text their number and they respond immediately. This is an introvert’s dream place to stay. Since I love their style so much I’ve already looked into buying similar pieces for my house. Once I settled, I enjoyed a lovely LaCroix while looking around the house/back patio. After that, I walked around downtown then took a lime scooter back and had a blast. The food hall around the corner has an amazing selection of diversity food. Super glad I took time to find a non chain hotel because it made all the difference. I come to the area for work from time to time so I will definitely come back and stay again!!

Our stay at the guest house was fabulous. It’s super clean, beautifully and simply decorated. The location, in a residential neighborhood right near the heart of the city was convenient. I enjoyed the beautiful linen sheets and luxurious shower with toiletries along with simple breakfast offerings of yogurt, granola, coffee and fruit

2 stars for the general conditions, 3 stars LOST due to the resistance of cleaning our room on Day 3, which we waited 2 days to ask for in consideration of the Thanksgiving holiday. We made the explicit request—in English & Spanish—of the cleaner who was there cleaning other rooms, just before we went out for the day. Upon our return 8+ hours later, we found the room UNTOUCHED. No answer to several texts & calls until some time later, when it was nonsensically texted (no callback) that we didn’t TEXT them to make the request. We were WITH the cleaner and house manager—so texting means…what exactly? (We provide a 2-star review despite a cockroach found on the bed soon after arriving—being from SoFL there seemed no reason to alert the house manager—insects are part of life and it wasn’t likely from uncleanliness). So we are reasonable, but this non-cleaning b.s. is just that. The House Mgr is in the wrong line of work. AVOID.

We thoroughly enjoyed our recent stay at The Guest House. Our room was incredibly comfortable, from the platform bed and linen sheets, to the rain attachment in the shower, to all of the other little thoughtful touches throughout the house and kitchen. It was too hot at the time or we’d have definitely spent time in the sweet backyard area. If you stay here, be sure to visit Benchwarmers Bagels, just a 3-minute walk away in the Transfer Food Hall (there were plenty of other yummy food places there that weren’t open at the time!). If we’re ever in the area again, we’ll be staying at The Guest House! Thanks for everything:)

I loved everything about my stay. The rooms were clean, cozy and well equipped. The decor was modern yet homey. The internet worked perfectly. And even though the whole experience is contactless - the staff were super responsive via text for any questions. Also I appreciated that they had gluten free and dairy free options in the communal kitchen. The location was also very central - i was able to walk or take a short Uber to all my destinations I would 10/10 come stay again. So much better than a chain hotel experience.

This is an absolute gem of a place! Comfortable, cozy, and quiet. It is like a home away from home. They even had the same noise machine I use in my own home. Highly recommend it for the cleanliness and spaciousness of each room. I would stay here again and again.

My stay at the Guest House was amazing. The design and details of the space were thoughtful and beautifully executed, the shower was incredible, and the location was close to downtown. The honor bar was also very well stocked which feels like an amenity so many hotels have dispensed with and I loved having it. I’d stay here again and again!

Guest House was such a perfect stay in Raleigh. The location was convenient and I was able to walk to everything downtown or take a quick and cheap Uber. I loved the contactless, easy check in experience and process. I felt safe and super comfortable. The common areas are fully stocked and the rooms are perfect for a weekend or extended stay. I loved the filtered water and air filters, as well as healthy snack options. Everything was clearly intentional and thoughtful. The design was clean and simple and I felt like I had an elevated stay. The other guests were super quiet and i didn’t notice anyone else being disruptive, etc. what a truly cozy stay and I can’t wait to go back and stay again.

We could not have had a lovelier time at the Guest House. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and private. The house itself it beautifully kept with thoughtful details throughout. It is a great location - so walkable and we found the neighborhood to be beautiful. We would absolutely stay again!

Loved it! The hotel is clean, quiet, and beautiful. I loved all the touches of hospitality and welcome. The text communication and help was so easy and effective. I loved walking to Benchwarmers Bagels for breakfast, and I had an easy street parking spot right in front of the house. I will absolutely stay there again.

Really incredible place and so beautiful, the interior design is amazing. My mom and I stayed here the past weekend and we felt at home, incredible staff, beautiful house, and so peaceful. 1000000 % recommend

What a beautiful boutique hotel. While the hotel is clean and simple, the attention to detail is incredible providing a luxurious experience. There was thought into every thing the hotel offered. To the flow of the space, the decor, the lighting, the bedding, the products, everything was done with intention. We had an incredible stay and loved the turnkey approach. It was clean, well stocked and a pure delight to stay there. Highly recommend to anyone coming through Raleigh or even a staycation for those who live there! Thank you for a memorable stay.

My partner and I live in Raleigh but stayed here for a special weekend. The location is accessible to Dix Park, downtown restaurants and bars, food Hall, Chavis Park. The details of the space are impressive and we were welcomed with a thoughtful card. As two people who are from this area we love to see a local business doing so well and hope that it continues to thrive. If visiting Raleigh or looking for a “staycation” we definitely recommend Guest House!

We stayed in Room 7 and enjoyed it immensely! The house is spotless, quiet and within walking distance to so many great venues and restaurants. Highly recommend!

This is the future of hotels. No need to see the tired person behind the counter in a vest. Great location, super clean and cool place. Honor stay team for drinks. Great space. Thank you!

What a wonderful place to stay in Raleigh. The only problem...we only stayed one night. We will definitely stay again. The house is well-appointed and comfortable. We loved the place!!! Of note, if you buy the little ghosts (we bought 2), which are awesome, pack them in your checked luggage. Airport security didn't like them, LOL. Great place, look no further for a place to stay in Raleigh.

This place feels brand new with a European aesthetic and great attention to detail. The bed was incredible - thick foam that felt both firm and soft, with beautiful linen sheets and a cloud-like comforter. Many thoughtful touches - hooks in the right places, a plant, a night light, a noise machine in case you hear other guests in the house (we didn’t.) I happened to cross paths with the manager who was bright, friendly and professional. The common areas are light and clean with big windows and modern amenities. All top notch.

Can’t say enough good things about our stay here. We did a short staycation from Durham for our anniversary. The room was immaculate, almost wanted to cancel our plans to stay in. We were within a few blocks of our favorite restaurant and it was so easy to walk over and enjoy the great food in downtown. Amenities were great and although we didn’t need much, with how communicative the team was I’m sure we would have been well taken care of if anything came up. We will absolutely be back!

Just stayed for two nights. I think I had the whole house to myself. Elegantly designed, meticulously clean, super comfy bed, and all the final touches were thoughtful. You can walk to anywhere in downtown from here. I have my go-to when I come back to Raleigh.

Helpful, generous and knowledgeable staff. Great location for walking to the visitor center, downtown library, art gallery and many restaurants. Great fireworks show for New Years. Less than two minute walk to a food court with live weekend music at the Transfer Company. I even took an art lesson from artist Barb Cherry at Art Space, an art gallery five minutes from The Guest House.

My wife and I stayed here for the weekend and absolutely loved it. The space is beautiful. It is evident that a lot of care and thought went into the design, appliances, and furniture in the beautiful space. The bed was really comfy and the whole place was spotless. They provide yogurt, fruit, and granola for breakfast and there are drinks and snacks available for purchase. The location is perfect and there are a ton of great coffee shops, restaurants, and attractions within walking distance. We will definitely be staying here next time we come to Raleigh, we loved it!

Super cute and very clean! Everything is pretty much self-serve with key codes and via text—just flagging for anyone that may be a concern for. We stayed here for our wedding night and a few nights around it and it was perfect to come and go as we need and absolutely beautiful! We will likely come back for anniversaries in the future!

Never stay at the Sheraton or Marriot again!!!! This house was so clean and private with everything that you would need and our room on the 1st floor with access to the backyard was cheaper than both places. Full kitchen, dining room and living room with fireplace. Free off street parking and rocking chairs on the front porch. We were happy as clams. Try this place before you go anywhere else in Raleigh. (You will be glad you did!!!)

Everything about this house was charming and thoughtfully done. The service was exceptional and we were so appreciative of the extra care and attention to detail for our needs. It was a great location which made walking around Raleigh easy, and the recommendations were spot-on for places to eat and things to do. Already working on incorporating some of their design elements into my home! Cannot recommend enough.

From a business traveler’s perspective, It brings a little bit of civilization, and the feeling of a home away from home, while on another business trip. It was so nice to be able to easily park, have the code to get in easily into the house to walk up to the room and open the windows and have that breath of fresh air into a very clean and comfortable room . I had an upstairs room with a balcony, and sitting outside early with a cup of coffee and thinking about planning for the day without the typical stuffiness of a closed-in modern hotel was a great setting for the day. While it is also very convenient to downtown offices and businesses, the neighborhood is transitioning as is much of that area of Raleigh . But I did feel safe overall including walking back from restaurants at night

Visiting family usually comes with a level of co-dependence that muddies the whole visit. Staying at the guest house gave us freedom to enjoy each other in a space and location that was convenient, gorgeous, intentional and relaxing. Their extra touches like being welcomed with a personal card, high end linens and shampoos, and a comfortable bed are the cherry on top.

My wife and I stayed here for a night out. Owner was very helpful and responsive and the house/room was great. Very clean. We are big on cleanliness and this place was fantastic. Would absolutely stay here again in the future. Very simple and European look/design in the room. Location is close enough to walk or short ride to many places downtown.

What a nice facility. Everything was first class. You'll feel like you're at home with the warm inviting atmosphere. Room was immaculate and very comfortable. Location is just a few blocks from downtown restaurants and things to do. Would definitely stay here again. Definitely read all the info on the web site - tells you about the history of the house.

What a wonderful experience! We stayed for two nights at the Guest House Raleigh to have a weekend of reading and chill hang out and we couldnt be happier with our choice. The bed was comfy, rooms were gorgeous, and the whole house was so welcoming. The hosts were very helpful and accommodating and were able to let us stay an extra night when our flights got canceled! Absolutely would recommend and would stay here the next time I have cause to go to Raleigh. 🥰💖

Great place within walking distance to The Red Hat, Convention Center and Lincoln Theater. Very clean and remodeled house. Common kitchen area, front porch and fenced in sitting area out back to hang out. Plenty of space for amount of rooms, ample parking and wonderful location. Will stay there anytime we come back to Raleigh. We stayed in room 6 and it was perfect for my wife and I to spend a night away from the kids. Bathrooms were great and most importantly VERY CLEAN. Thank you, Guest House!
