Always a great meal...consistent all over the country...open when many restaurants weren't...very concerned about customer satisfaction. I especially like the steak kabobs and rice...it's so delicious.

Loud fun colorful atmosphere. If you like sports and friendly, funny restaurant staff, you will enjoy stopping here. Free delicious bread and big meals that are hard to finish. We enjoy nights out here with friends and family. This place always has a good vibe. Alex is a great waiter and always accommodates our needs during the whole dinner. We are never left waiting for something. On my most recent visit I had a large healthy delicious meal. Steak cooked excellent, large sweet potato, and broccoli. Couldn't be happier with the food quality and service. We look forward to spending another night out here soon.

We love Texas Roadhouse and this was the 4th location we've been to in the US. Food was great and so were the portions. The place was super busy on a Monday evening and our food arrived 45 mins after we ordered. Be prepared to wait.

The worst Texas Roadhouse I’ve visited. We were on the road and ordered a takeout here - it comes with overcooked potato skin, cold bread, only one set of utensils and no strolls with a large order with drinks. The to-go receptionist wasn’t very friendly either. The sides and steak are of high quality, though.

I mean what can I say? Their steaks are great and those rolls and cinnamon butter....so good. Their drinks are great. The service was superb, we were seated quickly, and our food was out fast and was cooked perfect. They know how to cook a steak. Everything was delicious and served hot and waitstaff was attentive but not overbearing.

Easy access with plenty of parking, diagonally across the road from the Scarborough Walmart. They open late (maybe around 3:30) most days, so check before you go. We visited on a Saturday mid-afternoon and the place was packed with a 30 minute wait. They send you a text when you are up so that's nice. Then they kind of show you around the steak case where you can pick your own, but just tell them you've been there before to skip the tour. On your way to the table they will tell you to grab a bag of peanuts if you want them, which is very casual. We sat in the bar booth area and were quickly given rolls with a cinnamon butter by our server "Tim". They used to let you throw the peanut shells on the floor, but I never thought that was a good idea so I never did it, but Tim explained that we could just pile them up and he would clean them up as needed, which is a much better way to do it. He explained the steak cuts and answered any questions we had. Really good dude and he was very attentive to our needs. The view is just of the inside of the restaurant which was casual and pleasant with warm lighting, but you didn't strain to read the menu. We started with a couple of Margaritas at $8.25 each and they were tasty. Like every other bar, they don't skimp on the ice (if you know what I mean), and you can add a kicker for a buck or two if you want a better drink, but I thought the regular house Margaritas was decent. Back to the rolls, freaking soft, hot and delicious and while I normally just like plain butter I found the cinnamon butter to be fantastic and I would go back just for the rolls. My wife got the Chicken Critter Dinner for $14.99 and the chicken rivaled any others we have tried, crispy yet juicy and they give you more than you can eat. Highly recommend this dish. I got the 1/2 slab of ribs and it was plenty for me as well. I will say that, while it was delicious, it had to be eaten with a fork as the meat fell off the bone too easily to pick up a bone and eat, but it was very good. We also tried the house salads, loaded baked potato and the steak fries and all were top notch and very good. All in all, I was extremely impressed with the efficiency of the employees at the Roadhouse. The manager (Michelle?) stopped by to check in which was nice, but the speed of service was quite impressive, especially for a packed house. The drinks were served quickly, we never ran out of rolls or water and the food was fresh, delicious, and right out of the oven hot. It was like watching a finely tuned orchestra perform Mozart, all the parts were in sync, great crew of people. The prices were very reasonable in my view as well. I would not hesitate to return to the Texas Road House in Scarborough and you will enjoy your time spent here.

I had a great meal here yesterday. I had a ribeye steak with a side of a baked potato and it was delicious. The steak was a little undercooked, I asked for medium but got medium rare. The service was awesome, my server was Nate and he was a great guy with a upbeat attitude.

Everything was very salty to the point of being inedible and burning your mouth. The tater skins had salt put on the cheese and bacon. Grilled shrimp had parts crusted with salt. Corn had extra salt and the Country Fried Sirloin was salty. I use a good amount of salt in my own cooking and it can help drive up drink sales but it was too much last night

I don't care what anyone says. Texas Roadhouse is the ONLY place that can properly serve me a steak at the correct temp. Cool Red Center means COOOOL and red, in the center. They have done just that, Every SINGLE time. Now while I hate to admit that I am a steak sender backer (why ask me how I want it cooked if its gonna be medium?), I have NEVER sent a steak back at TR. I wanted to cheat on our "go to" steak chain. In order to do so, I had to prove to my husband that I wont sendy backy here. We had dinner here last night and everything came out perfect. He sighed with relief that I was keeping the steak. The Celtics were on the screen right in front of us (which helped), I think I have him convinced!

I love this place for few reasons the main is the bread and butter they serve is world class. The house salad is also very good. I tried the grilled shrimp and basket of ribs both were super good.

I’ve been a customer of Texas roadhouse for many years, I understand it’s hit or mess with these types of restaurants, depending on the service and who’s cooking, last night I took my family out for dinner. My wife ordered a burger with a side salad. I ordered a chicken with salad my daughter ordered a burger with fries, when we got the meal. There was no side salad for my wife , which we knew was not part of the meal, we told the person that brought our food out , which was not our waitress that we had a side salad ordered. he said he would bring one right over . 20 minutes later after we’re done eating , still no salad. Our waitress came over and we mentioned this to her and she said oh , I will definitely pack you one salad up to go to take home. Problem solved! until 10 minutes later when the manager came over and we told her about the salad issue, she says don’t worry about it. I will get one right now to go , another 15 minutes later after we witnessed her go talk to our waitress , waitress brought over a bill plus the two $50 gift cards that i also purchased, and no salad , so I mentioned where is the salad that you guys said you were gonna pack up so we could bring home ? she replied that she did not charge us for the salad! so we will not be receiving it !!!Absolute unacceptable considering we ordered the salad on the side , knowing it was not part of the meal and getting told three times by three different people that the salad was coming and that they would pack it up to leave and still not receive it was a absolute slap in the face! I still gave a $20 tip for a $50 food bill… it’s not the idea of the five dollar salad you didn’t give us. It’s the idea that we were told three times you were packing it up to go home… you really lost my interest Texas roadhouse on that one.. unfortunately we will be back because I bought $100 worth of gift cards… over and out!

Love it here. Great food. Great service. Always awesome atmosphere. Love the prime rib and the rolls. They alway have everything out fast and the food is always nice and hot and perfectly cooked. Staff is always super helpful and pleasant. Definitely recommend going to this wonderful establishment.

Went here because we had a gift card and we'll definitely never come back. Rolls were still dough, no good non-alcoholic options. Food was mediocre although there was an emergency in the kitchen causing obvious chaos, so we understood the long wait time. What I didn't understand was the manager picking a fight with the table next to us over 4oz of meat, insulting the intelligence of the customer over a mistake. Very weird overall.

I am a long time fan of The Roadhouse, however this last trip was not the best at all. After the waitress made a few errors on our order, it was all good, she brought me my steak and as I am eating it I go to take a bite of the baked potato and find a small black hair. I have long blonde hair as well as everyone in my party so it was definitely not mine. I brought it to the attention of the waitress and she looked at it and said “oh, okay”. That was the extent of it. I was not impressed. I wasnt looking for much, just an acknowledgment and an appology. I couldn’t finish my meal after that. Kinda ruined my dinner.

BOAN IN FOOD. I would consider this understandable because of how the food is made. What I don’t find it, understandable is why the food came out 40 minutes later cold to the touch! We sent the food back and it was obviously microwave, which is also understandable. But when the food came back, the steak tips were very rubbery with huge chunks of fat. While eating the pulled pork that’s when I found the bone. Main courses were comped. Drinks were good. Service was phenomenal.

Very good experience at this restaurant! Friendly wait staff and we didn’t have to wait forever to be served!!..We both ordered the rib-eye steak 🥩 I got the medium well pink in the middle my friend got medium rare red in the middle! My steak was a little dry on the outer edges but as I cut towards the center it became really tender and juicy! I would definitely get it medium rare next time I go!…I also had my steak covered in mushrooms onions 🧅 and gravy with a side of rice 🍚 and Cesar Salad! 🥗 My only critique…(thus the 4 star rating)… is that the gravy and rice were a bit on the salty side otherwise it was seasoned perfectly!! I would recommend and will return!!

We were so happy that our daughter chose this place for her 24th birthday party. It was just a fun time in so many ways. The food choices were excellent and the service was sincerely friendly and all the staff even seemed to be enjoying themselves at their jobs.

The food was so flavorful. Eyes rolling in the back of your head good. We were impressed with the friendly atmosphere given by our waitress and other waiters and waitresses in passing. The assistant manager and manager, separately checked in on us. They were so genuine in their attempts to make us feel welcomed.

Nicole was a personable, attentive waitress on a busy Saturday night. The manager visited the table to welcome us, thank us & ask if there was anything we needed. Food was delicious.

I am usually opposed to avoiding chain restaurants whenever possible so the first time I went to a Texas Roadhouse I did not want to like it, I ended up loving it. The experience was great from the server, all aspects of my steak, and the overall presentation. This location was consistent with my experience, top notch.

The quality of the steak tips has dropped a bit but everything else was excellent. The server was very pleasant and attentive. The only big drawback is it's always so loud even at 9pm after the rush and we could barely hear each other to have a conversation.

The service was a bit slow for my taste, but my drink got refilled when I needed, which is one of my main pet peeves. They accommodated our party of 8 by adding a leaf to the table, and it worked well. They still offer peanuts, but I didn’t notice a Lot of them on them on the floor as in the past. The food was tasty and they offered plenty of hot rolls before our meal came. We split the bill several ways and that was no problem for the friendly staff. I’ve been to the chain before, but the one near the Maine Mall. Overall, we had a great time there!

Drinks, appetizers were ordered immediately and came out quickly. Salad was delivered separately but not together which was great. Salad was brought to the table in a cold bowl which was nice though a server tried to give us another round of salads. We should have taken them up on the offer as our entree's came much later than usual, 1 hour after we were seated. We ordered the entree's at the same time as the drinks and appetizers were ordered. Entree's were very good and plentiful so much that food was brought home.

I came here on a date and the food was excellent, my date and I certainly enjoyed our meal. Our waitress was nice and professional. The hostess on the other hand was just rude. She barely acknowledged us when we walked in and seemed put off when we told her that we wouldn't need the bar menu since we didn't plan on drinking.

I was so excited to be in town to order dinner from one of my favorite places. I ordered a medium steak with shrimp. Cesar salad and mushrooms for my 2 sides. Also a side sweet potato, 6 buns and a side of cinnamon butter. Also requested silverware. The second part of the order was a cheeseburger and fries. 2 apple pies Got home 40 min later from picking up take out order. Steak was rare! No Cesar salad No side of cinnamon butter No cheese on the burger No silverware VERY DISAPPOINTING TEXAS ROADHOUSE!!!!!!

Great food really for the money you get a lot. The only thing I don't understand stand is why so many people to bring food and drinks. Who gets the Tip? That way I know how much and how many are sharing it or if just the Waitress gets it And I use that term lighting because all they do now is ask what you want and bring drinks. They have a runner to bring food. And you ask them for things you may need and they say they will let the waitress know. I want to make sure all get the Money they deserve. So other than that Question That I have . It's a great place and I love how the Peanuts are in bags to take home Now if you don't finish them. Great idea The prices are best in Town for the food your getting. And fun to be at when a B'day happens to be taking place.

Every time we go, the experience is always the best. From Seattle, to Dallas, to Orlando, to Portland, Texas Roadhouse is unified everywhere. Doesn’t matter if you go when they first open, to when they are nearing to close. The food is still exceptional, the servers and managers always have a smile. Texas Roadhouse is by far the best restaurant out there for a 24/7 experience. Does Ruth Chris, Flemings, or Nus-ret have amazing steak? Yes they do. But Texas Roadhouse will give you a perfect experience of food, customer service, prices, and the whole thing every time. Texas Roadhouse is the best restaurant.

Portions and quality are horrible. Ordered food and showed up ten minutes early and it was "ready" to go. Looked like it had been sitting waiting like someone rejected it prior. Wasn't very warm, not impressed in the slightest. First and last time ordering from here.

  • 4/5 Alexander F. 1 year ago on Google
Very consistent with food results, foods always cooked well and served quickly. Rather too quickly in this case. I consider myself a relatively quick eater but salads and apps were still on the table when main course arrived. Otherwise a nice experience that has consistently satisfied my expectations. My steak was flavorful and cooked to my specifications, sides and apps were hot and fresh. The course rushing is not a problem that only this restaurant has, every single one I've been too recently has had this issue as well. Staffing shortages and demand for product has everyone rushing. While good turn over is important, making sure your customers have enough time to eat everything they paid for is as important if you want customers to feel valued. Rather than just a number on a corporate spreadsheet.
