I
rarely
write
a
review
that's
not
4
or
5
stars,
but
this
was
so
disappointing.
Value
-
this
is
the
reason
for
the
2
stars
I'm
giving.
There
is
salad,
soup,
bread
with
your
entree.
The
salad
is
your
standard
house
salad
fare,
very
bland,
the
chowder
is
unremarkable
enough
that
I'm
not
sure
whether
or
not
it
was
canned
vs.
made
in
house.
People
say
the
bread
is
fresh
in
house
but
I
am
very
doubtful
of
that.
It
seems
like
your
standard
scali
bread
you
can
find
anywhere.
It
wasn't
particularly
warm
or
flavorful.
Mashed
potatoes
were
rustic
style,
but
again
lacked
seasoning
and
were
lukewarm.
Veal
Oscar
lobster
tail
was
not
served
for
table
presentation
(back
and
along
the
shell)
and
the
meat
was
tough,
and
tough
to
remove,
and
the
sauce
was
not
hollandaise.
Not
sure
what
I'd
call
it,
but
not
hollandaise.
Veal
was
cutlet
and
not
medallion
cut,
and
tasted
more
of
the
flour
it
was
dredged
in
that
its
gravy
which
was
(like
most
everything
else)
unremarkable.
Husband
had
the
prime
rib
which
also
lacked
seasoning,
and
the
mushroom
caps
which
were
in
a
wine
sauce
that
was
not
disclosed
on
the
menu,
oddly
sweet,
and
disconnected
feeling
from
the
dish.
Our
waitress
was...
what
I
would
call
very
neutral
towards
us.
There
was
nothing
egregious
about
her
service
but
all
in
all
it
was
pretty
lackluster.
The
restaurant
itself
is
very
clean
and
presentable.
Bar
side
was
very
busy
-
maybe
the
fare
on
the
pub
side
is
better-
but
the
fine
dining
experience
claimed
on
the
door
and
suggested
by
the
menu
is
just
not
here.
