The food was great, the service was extraordinary and the atmosphere was really pleasant I had a great time, the whole journey was really smooth, the food arrived on time with no delay, the standard and the quality of the food has been maintained. Beautiful little cafe, great coffee and friendly staff. Our breakfast was delicious. Coconut rice as an GF option to replace the bread. Loved it. They have vegetarian options too. They are also a bakery and their croissant is sooo good. It definitely worth it. It came with butter and a delicious homemade jam. Definitely recommend this place!

A lovely and quiet cafe on Elizabeth St, the food is special and good, which combines eastern and western cuisine style, we enjoyed a wonderful lunch there. BTW, the Asian waitress wears glass is nice and hospitable, served us with big smiles all the time.

One of the best Tassie cafes - I absolutely adore the coffee, atmosphere, décor and staff, who are so sweet and gentle! Imago is the perfect place to relax with a hot beverage on an early morning, with a lovely view of the bustling city out the window. The pastries here are quite unique and also delicious <3

Such a beautiful cafe! Great coffee, very friendly service, and accomodating on busy mornings! Service is fast and the food is AMAZING!!! I tried the omurice with satay chicken for lunch most recently and the dish was so tasty and perfectly warming on a chilly day.

Damn quality cafe in Hobart. They do all the fancy tumeric oat milk stuff; however they aren't all toxic hipster about it. 💯 Recommend it

Amazing Cafe and bakery just up from the Elizabeth Street Mall! The coffee and breakie are delicious. Some seats inside but it can get busy (especially on Farm Gate Sundays) so you can book if you want. Inside is beautiful with plants and art on the walls. Will quickly become your regular breakie stop

Best Shakshouka in town! Love the way they mastered their spices. Eggplant shakshouka just packed with flavours, I finished every bits in the plate and walked out the cafe with a great sense of satisfaction. So good for the soul and definitely makes my day!!! Matcha latte is good too, not too sweet, Just Right! Highlight: It was a cute moment to see a reservation sign for one was set up at the seat, after someone left the cafe and mentioned she will be back later. Another level of customer service for sure🤗

Visit Twice this cafe on my short trip to hobart, really like the hojicha tea. Visit again today before leave hobart to enjoy the hojicha and have some breakfast there. I have satay chicken and pork belly miso soup, taste was amazing. The staff also very friendly and service was amazing too. Highly recommended to visit if you come to hobart.

Such an incredible experience having a short breakkie here. Got Satay Chicken and Pork Belly Miso Soup as breakfast and those were awesome and tasty. Recommended by a friend who lives in Hobart. Coming first time for a coffee then excited for coming back for the second time before leaving Hobart. Coffee was amazing, Staff hospitality ? no need to be questioned. Great service, in a relaxed cosy setting. The breakfast plate was delicious, some of the best scrambled eggs I've ever had on a nice sourdough. Coffee was great too. Will come back again next time I'm in Hobart!

Not our first time at Imago - we love their coffee, and the Iced Latte in particular is smooth, nutty and not at all acidic ☕️ Their lunch options are limited but delicious, the Shakshouka with Lamb Sausages and Hummus in particular is moreish and satisfying. The staff are always warm and lovely as well!

We called in unexpectedly for breakfast and were pleasantly surprised. Amazing food. Great hot drinks and friendly service. Our meals were a great size and extremely well priced.

The coffee was beautiful, really enjoyed the vibe and super friendly staff. Overall the experience was awesome, perhaps the chicken satay had room for improvement. The shakshuka was the highlight for sure . Highly recommended if you’re around in hobart

Great atmosphere, excellent service. Meals cooked fresh to order so as long as you don't mind waiting a little bit, this place is a sure way to chillout, dig in to some quality tucker and enjoy the vibe. Good for catchups with friends in small numbers or a coffee rendezvous.

I was so surprised to find the great restaurant. We have ordered the coconut rice with chicken and the dish with bread. All delicious, price is reasonable. Good place for eat a quick lunch.

The perfect place for a late breakfast! Delicious options, friendly and personable staff, and a lovely atmosphere. I had a breakfast burger and the Mörk hot chocolate, both of which were served with a smile and came a lot quicker than I expected. The overall quality was lovely, but a special mention goes to the sweet relish on the burger and the wonderful milk texturing on the hot chocolate! When I’m back down in Tasmania, I’ll be heading to Imago first - if not for the food, then for the personable and talented staff.

5 stars for food, service and atmosphere at this excellent coffee & brunch spot. I really enjoyed my cappuccino and satisfaction plate with smoked salmon. My friend's shakshouka looked absolutely amazing and I'll be back to try that!

absolutely phenomenal! my brother stopped in a couple days ago and told me to go check it out. I am writing this out just as a I cleaned my plate of their fantastic omurice dish. Coffee is well balanced, and their house latte range is delicious. Huge recommend and will.be back : ))

Loved this place. My new favourite Cafe. Staff are lovely and friendly. Coffee was amazing. Breakfast the best in the CBD. Prices were reasonable. Really nice decor and vibe. Very keen to try the lunch menu. We will be back!
