I haven’t lived here for too long, about 3 months. I have lived in countless apartments, but never have I lived at a place that comes into my apartment 1-2 times a month for “inspections” and “maintenance.” Since I’ve lived here, they’ve come into my apartment probably 5-6 times, only two of those being when I called them for a maintenance issue and only once did they make sure I was home. They usually just tape a notice to my door telling me what day and time they will be entering, though I work and go to school full time so I can’t sit around for a couple days and hope they enter that day. It’s extremely unnerving and makes me wonder what problems are going on to have this happen. I would feel more respected if they could set up a time when I am home to do these things but only once have they actually called me and asked when I would be home for them to come in. I have a dog who used to get along fine with people, now she barks and is afraid of anyone who even walks by. This behavior started the first time they entered when I wasn’t home. I’m currently having to give my dog anxiety meds to calm her down to even take her outside to go to the bathroom. Hopefully things get fixed and monthly inspections aren’t actually a thing because this feels terrible and is just a huge invasion of my privacy.

The management is okay, but the appliances are absolutely awful. Every time we used the stove it started smoking and the smoke alarm would go off. The dishwasher never worked. The kitchen sink always smelled like rotting fish. Maintenance came and looked and them and fixed them, and they all worked for a bit, but then they all started falling apart again. The appliances are all just very old and cheap. Parking is also a nightmare. Our reserved parking spot was on the other side of the complex from our apartment. Free range parking spaces are never available. However, even though this apartment complex is in a really sketchy neighborhood, I will really miss being able to walk to the mini mart and Asian market. It is a charming area minus the occasional gun shot hahaha. And the management is okay. We had a few little stains from our cat on our carpet (which is totally understandable why they would have to charge us a bit), but they charged us our entire $2000 deposit plus they told us to pay them even more out of pocket to cover replacing the whole carpet for a few stains. The carpet was old when we moved in, so we thought that was kind of a sketchy move, but whatever.

I have lived here for about 4 months, and I believe I made a very good choice. The apartments are well-maintained, the grounds are well-kept, and the location is very convenient. It is close enough to walk to the Millcreek light rail station, and there are many restaurants nearby, with good bus service along 3300 South. The apartment manager is very reasonable, friendly and helpful, and she does her best to ensure that the residents' concerns are addressed, whenever possible. The maintenance person is very responsive and friendly. I have had only one small maintenance issue while living here, and it was addressed and resolved quickly. I highly recommend Brickstone!

Very good place, perfectly positioned right outside of downtown. Management is friendly and efficient. I enjoy living here

I just moved here and everything seems nice, clean and spacious rooms. It is located in a good place because we are close to a gas station, cinema, market, etc.

Rita and get team are fantastic home away from home. If you want a family dynamic that cares you found it. 10 stars highly recommend

I love my apartment here at Brickstone. Management and staff are top notch as well. I highly recommend it for anyone looking for a place to call home.

I live at Brickstone on 33rd for the last two year and my experience couldn't be better. The apartment, the location, and the staff are great. But, what impressed me the most is the maintenance. I am always impressed how quick and efficient they get the request jobs done.
