This place is a must-see. There is a picnic area, pay parking, swimming, and you can watch the sunset. Beautiful romantic area. There is a huge rock you can get to, but it is a little dangerous. There is public washroom. Probably gets busy on the weekend and parking is a decent size.
Heavy foot traffic. Getting out onto to spit takes some patience as all types of people with and without hiking etiquette will make the effort. Some rude some polite. Don’t be rude.
Great place to catch some views and get a hike in. This place has a beautiful beach and places to to have a picnic. You defintley need some sturdy shoes if you wanna climb the rocks.
Absolutey gorgeous and stunning. I visited to watch ths sunrise and it was totally worth it it. It was definitely chilly but great nonetheless. We went on a Monday morning so the point was not crowded at all. This is a must see place!!!
Panoramic Perfection! Whytecliff Lookout in Vancouver is a hidden gem that offers breathtaking panoramic views of the city, mountains, and coastline. The lookout point is easily accessible, and the scenic views are simply stunning. On a clear day, you can see for miles, taking in the majestic beauty of the North Shore Mountains and the sparkling waters of English Bay. It's the perfect spot to watch the sunset, and I highly recommend bringing a camera to capture the moment. The lookout is also a great spot for a romantic evening or a peaceful moment of reflection. The views are truly awe-inspiring, and I couldn't help but feel grateful for the natural beauty of Vancouver. If you're looking for a spot to take in the views of Vancouver, Whytecliff Lookout is a must-visit. Don't miss it!
This place is great for picnic or just for a visit. Great views and location. Seems like all pay parking.
This place is very nice and perfect for pictures
The view from the lookout point is breathtaking, with panoramic vistas of the ocean, rugged cliffs, and nearby islands. The hike up to the lookout point was relatively easy, with well-marked trails and a gradual incline. Along the way, I was surrounded by lush greenery and the peaceful sounds of nature. It was a refreshing escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. Once I reached the lookout point, I was greeted with a stunning view that took my breath away. The crystal-clear waters of the ocean stretched out as far as the eye could see, and the rocky shoreline added a dramatic touch to the scenery. I could have spent hours just sitting there, taking in the beauty of it all. One of the highlights of the lookout point was the opportunity to spot wildlife. I was fortunate enough to see seals swimming in the distance, as well as a variety of seabirds soaring above. It was a true nature lover's paradise. The lookout point also offered several benches where visitors could sit and enjoy the view, as well as picnic tables for those who wanted to have a meal in this idyllic setting. It was a great spot to relax, unwind, and soak in the natural beauty of the surroundings. Overall, the lookout point at Whytecliff Park is a must-visit for anyone who appreciates nature and stunning views. Whether you're a hiker, a photographer, or simply someone looking for a peaceful escape, this lookout point has something for everyone. I highly recommend making the trip and experiencing the beauty for yourself.
