One of my favorite places to visit locally. Really love the ambience and the variety of shops and restaurants in this area. The beach is especially a fun place for adults and children. Only challenge is finding a good parking space. The pictures I've uploaded were taken when there was a forest fire haze over the lower mainland.

Amazing and cosy place for walking with family and friends. You can catch a sunset and even go fishing. There are a lot of restaurants along the seafront

Love this beach. Been going there since I was a baby, and my family still goes there for picnics and crabbing at the dock. Great place to walk your dog, take yours kids (there's a nice playground), basketball court, and just a nice place to go for a stroll. People are really good about picking up after their dogs too.

Really quite place!! I loved it a lot. I used to be there with my friends to hang out. Even during the depressing periods I enjoyed being alone there. Looking at the waves, birds and sky always ended up making my visit full of enthusiasm and energy to face the world. I can't wait to be there soon with my cool friends!!

One of the most beautiful spots you can very easily go to and walk around at. Just beware the potholes in the parking lot.

What a peaceful beach!!!! It only take 15 minutes from downtown vancouver. Parking is available along the street and edge of Ambleside Park. The beautiful Lions Bridge could see from Ambleside fishing pier. Many spot to taking pictures or just enjoying the scenery. Its wave sounds calming stress and priceless. You should go, if you have fishing license then this is your spot.

Very nice beach, sandy/ pebbly seabed with a lifeguard in duty till 7 pm. Loved the views. It has change rooms.. limited, not working most probably, showers.. beach volleyball courts available.. kids area available by the beach.. for sunny days, you need an umbrella for sure.

As a local guide, I can honestly say that this is a lovely place to bring friends, family, and especially Buddy the dog. I came here after a storm, and there was a lot of driftwood washed up onto the beach along with a small camping mattress, seat thing, it was in great condition and I consider bringing it home but didn’t have enough free hands so that was wearing mitts because of the cold. I hope somebody took it home and is sitting on it and the great outdoors as I type this. Here are some photos of the beach area

Wonderful beach, really close to the well-maintained Ambleside Park and with a stunning view of the outter harbour.
