We had an amazing outdoor breakfast at Isetta Cafe Bistro this morning. Freshly brewed coffee, golden roasted potatoes, sunny-side-up eggs, sausage, bacon, and fresh sourdough bread made the perfect combo. Highly recommend this cozy little spot in North Vancouver for a relaxing and delicious start to the day
Isetta is definitely a unique spot located in West Van. Usually would be a spot my friends and I would spent out early Sunday or Saturday mornings cruising out too for a morning drive and coffee. Often times a lot of other car and bike enthusiasts also do the same so the parking lot ends up being a nice meet up spot. The drinks are nothing crazy, but the food is very good. The interior vibe is awesome with its MCM style and feel. It does get very busy on weekends for the brunch rush.
1. The Food That focaccia sandwich is a total showstopper—pillowy bread stacked high with fresh tomatoes, arugula, and a creamy spread that pulls it all together. Classic, vibrant, and photogenic. The second plate brings crispy golden potatoes, thick-cut bacon, a perfectly cooked egg, and a punch of freshness from pea shoots—hearty brunch comfort done right. 2. The Vibe Warm wood beams, vintage rugs, and natural light bouncing off every surface. The open-concept barista station gives it that modern European café feel, while the cozy couch lounge keeps it grounded and homey. 3. The Crowd It’s busy, buzzing, and clearly a local favorite. Families, friends, creatives on laptops—it’s a melting pot of community over coffee and comfort food
Great place tucked away from everything. Very busy on a Saturday at noon. Busy with all the cyclists and tough to find parking. But street parking can be found just down the road slightly. Not that when you add the bursts cheese it is cold so cools the pasta down quite a bit.
Such an important and refreshing place in Vancouver. In a city where so much gets torn down and replaced with shiny new buildings, this spot really stands out for preserving culture and history—which is so needed. They even have a vintage car museum (not always open, but worth checking out when it is), and we’ll definitely be back. The café itself is spacious and beautiful with a unique aesthetic. I loved the food and the variety of options—lots of local drinks and pastries, plus a great menu overall. I had the babaganoush toast and it was absolutely delicious. The menu is very accommodating for vegetarians, vegans, and pescatarians—there’s something for everyone. We went during the week, but I imagine it gets busy on weekends. Still, it’s well worth a visit, especially if you’re a cyclist or visiting West Vancouver. Such a great vibe and a meaningful place to support. Highly recommend!
They were doing the Burger Rally 9000, from which I got the Texas Bean Burger. So delish! The beans were mashed to shape like a patty, put on top of the beef. Has cheese, jalapeño, some fried chips (idk what's it called), etc. Delicious 👌 feels like a Mexican twist, tbh. Tasty fries Love that the tables have fresh flowers. Spacious Bright and warm vibes Lots of patio sitting too Not an ideal place for remote work because there's max 1hr limit if u have a laptop Vintage car collection outside
Super cute cafe! Beautifully designed space that you’ll enjoy no matter what the occasion. In the summer it’s packed with cyclists and during the week you’ll get a mix of friend hangouts and business meetings. There’s outdoor and indoor seating, large tables, comfy booths and even a couch to enjoy your cup or Joe or tasty sand which. I’ll be back! Oh and don’t forget to check out the vintage cars right beside!
Met the owner and asked him if he wanted to adopt me... What do you do if you're rich? You open up the coolest breakfast, brunch, lunch joint on the North Shore! I remember pulling into this place to get gas before heading up to Squamish or Whistler, it's now converted into a cool little car museum/fantastic bistro place...!!! I ordered the Braised Lamb Hash, had to be the best breakfast I've had in decades! The sandwiches look incredible especially that mortadella sandwich! A friend had mentioned that they've got one of the best burgers around... The only downside is he didn't adopt me!
