Price: Price for value was very good. About $10 for 6 soup dumplings (their specialty). Definitely a cheap eats find in Hells Kitchen. Service: Very friendly and attentive service. Although we came during off hours at 3pm so it wasn’t busy at all. Food: Menu has a lot of options from dumplings to fried rice to noodle soups and a lot of side dishes. Soup dumplings were delicious and large with a lot of soup inside. The dough wrapping tasted fresh, I’m assuming they make it in house. We also had the fried rice with preserved pork which was perfect. Ambiance: The restaurant appears clean and spacious. It’s not a fancy dinner place for a special occasion or a business client lunch, more suitable for a casual lunch or dinner with friends or coworkers. Overall: This is their second location so we were keen to test it out. It just opened 4 days ago. The reviews to their first location were very positive so we had high hopes and this did not disappoint. We will definitely be back when we’re craving soup dumplings. I hope they keep making the soup dumplings in house because you can definitely taste the difference between places they do and places that don’t. Keep up the great work team!

Food is good. We ordered soup dumplings, seasme chicken , veggie dumplings, fried rice. Soup dumplings and seasme chicken was good. Best part is restaurant is open till 12.00 Am so you can get the food late night. Not the best but better if you want food at night

I was blown away by their delicious food. The soup dumplings were some of the best I've ever had - the broth was rich and savory, and the dumpling skin was perfectly cooked. I also tried their potato salad and it was super good. Overall, I highly recommend DD Soup Dumplings for anyone looking for a delicious meal in a cozy atmosphere. The service was also excellent - the staff was friendly and attentive. I'll definitely be coming back!

Enjoyed the food here, staff was very friendly and food came out really fast. Good soup dumplings, good scallion noodles. Wasn't overpriced. Definitely recommend.

This place is legit. Was intrigued by the high ratings and had possibly the best beef noodle dish in my life. We came at around 6p on Friday and the place was pretty empty so we were able to snag a table inside. We ordered a few things among them were the amazing beef noodles. The noodles themselves were perfectly chewy and the flavor was off the charts. The scallion, mushrooms, and the bok choy were nice touches. The beef itself was super tender and plentiful - the overall portion was generous as well for the price. The other dishes we ordered were the chicken dumplings - really great and super juicy - as well as the fried milk bread. The latter came with a condensed milk type of sauce which reminded me of frosting your own doughnut... it was good but nothing to write home about. Would skip this one next time. Overall, a really great experience. They also do hibachi so may try that next, but will definitely be coming back!

Overall food was pretty good. We got the xiao long bao, fried dumplings, lo mien, lamb skewers, and steak hibachi. Out of all that food it was only the lamb skewers that was disappointing. There was barely any meat in that portion. It was a very sad looking skewer. But everything else was good. I think the way you order - through their iPad was pretty cool but could still be improved. There is a “Call Waitstaff” button on there but it never seemed to get the attention of their staff any of the times I pressed it. There was a good amount of people when we were there but no long lines, which I think is proof that people do like the food.

What a find! From the outside it seems like just another restaurant on 9th, but it's actually a hidden treasure! Really yummy food (the soup dumplings are incredible), good service and really fun vibe! (There's a grill man who sings, it's a thing... you'll see). And most importantly, the prices are really fair (especially for NYC). Totally worth the trip to midtown

Pretty good, fair prices. For a place named after soup dumplings, it’s strange they only have 2 kinds. I wish there was more variety. Also, the service was quite amiss. After seating us, didn’t often get a chance to talk again. We just wanted some ice for water.
