There was a significant oversight during my recent visit. The doctor prescribed an antibiotic for my UTI but didn't notify me when the urine culture showed resistance to the initially prescribed medication. I discovered this three days later upon checking my lab results personally, and had to call in to get my new prescription. While the overall service was acceptable, clear communication is crucial in healthcare!

I had such a kind, thoughtful experience with the care professionals at this CityMD. I’ve never needed urgent care before and was really nervous considering the severe pain I was experiencing. I checked in when I arrived, it was a reasonable half hour wait, and then I was seen by Dr. Gomez. She took my pain seriously and explained all the different potential causes. Ultimately I ended up needing a CT scan and she sent me with a referral to the ER. The reception and nursing staff were great, they prioritized my pain and quickly discharged me and I was diagnosed at the hospital up the street later that day.

They’re not interested in providing care. They’re interested in taking as much of your money as possible. I literally cannot breathe and they will not write a prescription refill for a unscheduled substance (albuterol) and instead are saying I need to pay another $250, which I don’t have, to be seen again to be “reevaluated” even though I’ve had asthma all my life. Avoid at all costs. Healthcare in the US is a nightmare especially if you don’t have insurance, but City MD is part of the problem, not the solution.

Went to this place because i thought my hand was broken, but after the xray exam, they were supposed to follow up with me to see a specialist, which according to them they would contact me with the new appointment, but no one ever did. I called they and they started playing the "different department" game where you get transferred all over the place, until eventually i was hung up on. These people need to understand that it isn't my job to know which department does what, and that no matter how many departments you have, you get blamed as a whole. My hand is not progressing and moving my fingers, hurt. People are better off going to a hospitals Emergency room

the location is nice and clean. the usually wait is about an hour but that’s not a problem for me. the doctor needed to test my blood. i’m not sure if the nurses there are new or are training but they shouldn’t be drawing blood if they don’t know what they’re doing. the young lady poked my vein with the needle, the pain was excruciating. it’s gotten better but it doesn’t feel normal. she also put the bandage on too tight and it left a scar

My experience at this citymd has always been great. I have always been treated with kindness, respect and care by everyone. The staff is amazing, from the front desk, to the nurses, to the PAs, to the doctors. Everyone is very knowledgeable and always willing to answer any and all questions. They offer a wide variety of services and their hours are great. I would recommend this place to everyone. Smooth process from start to finish, makes the whole experience so much more comfortable.

Don't accept patients after 7pm if you're going to rush them out the door. I still haven't received the orthopedic referral I was supposed to get before I left. Don't bill my insurance. They treat people like children here. Also the young overpaid women said out loud, "Is he the last one, does he need a cast? We want to go home. ' Obviously they didn't cast me and rushed me. Never again.

I came here due to severe coughing and chest pain Wednesday. I was rapid tested, negative, and was told I had a non-contagious respiratory infection, that it “definitely” was not COVID-19. They seemed hesitant to do a PCR, but did one because I requested it as well as it being general procedure as of right now. They told me they would call me within 24-48 hours with my PCR result if it was positive, or would email me if it was negative. Since I was told my symptoms were not serious and I was quickly getting better after Wednesday, I have been around friends and family this week. I was emailed results from my PCR today (Sunday), 4 days after I was in the office, not once notified by telephone. I unknowingly exposed most of the people I come into contact with to COVID-19 due to bad practice and a rushed/incomplete diagnosis. Just don’t go here if you are concerned you have COVID-19, it seems they do not take it seriously and their PCR times are ridiculous.

I went there on Saturday afternoon with my autistic 3 years old son who had some skin issues on his chest, back and arms . The doctor never touched him and went straight to recommend eczema creams. seemed like she was in a rush and didn’t want to touch him at all. I will definitely not recommend it to anybody with autistic children

I just hope you see this comment and not make the mistake I made. Young women, especially of color seeking healthcare support/treatment should not go here. Web search free and accessible alternatives, but do not go here. I made that mistake and I’ve sent in a thorough review. I just hope you see this comment and not make the mistake I made. -you’ll go through hoops to get proper care. -you’ll be given the side eye by staff -you’ll be misdiagnosed(my family mbr is a doctor and I’ll have to relay what she’s told me to get proper care).

Wednesday 12/12/22 for COVID-19 test. I called today 12/16/22 told to come in and sign release papers. Having surgery on Monday. They wouldn't fax it to the hospital saying they didn't fax medical, that was the test results. I'm in a wheelchair, had to go out in the rain to find a place to send results before 5pm. Plus pay to have it sent . Will never go there again.

The front desk was extraordinarily and manager clarified all my questions. Team in the back had lots of patience and we're great with my daughter. My daughter does not like to be swabbed at all and screams a lot. One of the team members did it with ease. The provider was very informative and kind! Over all the team worked efficiently and had a great pace ! Thank you so much for everything!🤩

I've come here for the last 4 years, including the first months of 2020. Every person on staff seems most interested in providing best ultimate care, whether that takes a little more time or a little more paperwork or a different course of treatment.

I arrived 10 minutes before closing. Yet, I was still welcome with a smile and positive energy. They also, took the time to listen to my history and concerns. I would highly recommend.

this is the 2nd time they misdiagnosed me. 1st time was when i went in because i took a couple of COVID rapid tests at home & they came back with a faint line & i didn’t know what that meant. Had a headache, fever, & breathing problems( I have asthma too). They asked if i wanted a rapid there & a pcr & i said yes to both (found out later the swab they took was only for rapid not both). Then the dr told me it’s not covid because my tests at home weren’t a clear positive line and prescribed me a zpack and prednisone. Rapid test came back from them after I left they said it was negative. Later that day I tested positive at home on a rapid because my symptoms got worse and it was a very clear positive line. Had a zoom call with NYC Health & Hospitals and they told me to immediately stop taking the medication City MD gave me because they never should have given me that & prescribed me the right medication. The SECOND time i went in was a couple of days ago. Took a few rapid tests at home because i had trouble breathing, dry cough and brown and green phlegm and the rapid was negative. Asked to take a pcr at city md as well as find out what was going on. And they did a pcr, strep test and culture and the strep came back negative (others came back neg a few days later) and he told me my throat might just be inflamed and to take a 600 ibuprofen and i’ll be ok. i knew that wasn’t going to help because my phlegm is never brown and green and i don’t usually go to urgent care unless i really feel something is wrong especially with my asthma. he told me it looks fine and that there’s nothing wrong except inflammation and if it’s the same 2 days later to go to an ENT and they can out a scope down my throat to see if anything is there. Definitely didn’t believe that so I went to see another regular doctor the next day because i still felt the same and come to find out i have bacterial bronchitis. I know my body and an ibuprofen isn’t going to help my asthma, inflammation or brown & green mucus.

The location 21 graham ave brooklyn ny 11206 is very Unprofessional staff, communication is horrible. This urgent care doesnt have a good record keeping system of who pays their medical bills. I didnt have insurance at the time. And i paid out of pocket to be told i never paid any bill and this would be my 3rd time visit without paying. they looked at me like i was wrong. Then, i nicely showed urgent care at this location my bank statement prooving that i paid my $225 during my visit. They tried to make me pay an additional $225 over a dr signiture that is supposed to come with them filling out the pre empolyemt packet. To prove that the md performed the test! i never got an apology but got treated like i am trying to get free medical care the appt was only for a pre employment physical. That is not a good feeling city md ugent care. After that they argued with me that they saw me twice and i never paid once. Which is a huge lie bc they would never let me speak to a nurse or a doctor without paying yo get vitals check. This was a totally horrible exp for me since city md is for the community.next time i will inform ppl that this location isnt as frieny or professional in cluding drs.

I went to this urgent care around a month ago for a health concern, only to be turned away. The doctor told me I didn't show a certain symptom, so I didn't have a health concern. As it turns out, my health concern got extremely worse, and I had to go elsewhere to treat it and was almost hospitalized.

I came here because I wanted to confirm my positive covid test that I got at home which was expired. The front desk was very nice to me, the self check in is pretty simple, the wait time was not longer than 5 minutes. The place is clean. The doctor and nurse listened to my concerns, they tested me for both the flu and covid. It came positive for covid. They gave me a letter to give to my employer and to quarantine. Overall, good experience.

Process here was seamless. Although I went on the weekend before a holiday in late afternoon my entire visit was less than 2hrs. I would not encourage to do this please give them a break and go early so you don't have to wait so long. Staff was overwhelmed with patients but very professional and excellent bedside manner. They also take most insurances and checkin is contactless at iPad but also have front desk to assist if you need help.

CityMD is a great options if you in need for a vaccine. The staff along with the Doctor are great. The staff make you feel at ease and provide plenty of literature on different vaccines, side effects and the cause before actually given the vaccine.

I’ve been coming here since they open and every time they treat me so nice. From the front desk to the nurses and the doctors of course. Always a great staff. Very easy going in and out and eventually get healthy. Today I came for my throat issue and decided to do the Covid test as well. The nurse was super nice and did everything so fast, nothing complicated at all. Loved it, thank you guys!

Longest wait times I’ve ever experienced and poor customer service. Over two hours to be seen because they make you leave and if you miss the window to come back then you have to wait even longer. Not to mention, it’s 90° out and they don’t let you wait inside.

It’s so nice when you go to CityMD And the people that works there treat you so kind is hard to find somewhere that people would love the job and treat the patience of a client with so much respect I recommend to go to this clinic and you see by yourself

Awful. Was given the wrong test results many times via phone, asked for one medication and was prescribed something completely different, impossible to communicate with anyone about issues, constant confusion and misinformation about my health and medical needs. Honestly unbelievably unprofessional and alarming. Avoid at all costs.

This is my second year of going to city MD.I experienced sore throat, loss of taste and smell, constant runny/dripping nose, sneezing. City MD performed a rapid test and a PCR. They gave me a prescription, and it was filled within minutes. Everything was clean and sterile in the office.

I went into this place two days ago to get a Covid test because I had the symptoms . The young lady who tested me had a horrible attitude and she didn’t test me correctly so the test came back negative . And I found out yesterday that I actually do have Covid . I knew something was off .
