A gem in the mountains either walk, bike or drive high above Zeller Lake. Started the day with a wonderful home made blueberry cake and coffee. Went for a long walk then returned for an amazing roast pork, dumpling and radish salad with lovely gravy. Good beer too. The prices are so reasonable but the quality is very good and gets better each time I visit. Now over 10 years!

I went only for having dinner. The food was amazing and the portions are well served, the service was excellent and we had an opportunity to enjoy some musicians. Desserts was pretty good. If you ever go there you have to try the enzian schnapps (a spirit from the enzian plant that gives the place’s name). Out side you will also find a funny old game with nails. Everyone has puts the nails in the wood and try to hit with the hammer, the first nail to go completely in wins.

Very good local food at a high isolated place with stunning views during the day.

In the search for Apfelstrudel we visited this place for lunch. The soup/broth with dumplings and schnitzel main were superb. We were so full we didn't have room for dessert so went back another day! Service was excellent. The restaurant is cosy and full of alpine charm. We drove up in the summer with parking available outside. A highlight of our trip to Zell am See.

Recommended by a local, took the bike up the mountain. Had Kaiserschmarrn and an apple-carrot-juice. Tasteful dish, lovely service staff.
