We went on New Year's Eve 2021 and had the most enjoyable meal. Entree was outstanding. Was left wanting more oysters. Both our steaks which were medium, and medium well-done respectively were cooked perfectly. Customer Service was 5 star with a real care taken to make sure we were looked after. Then Albany put on fireworks which started just after we left. What a fantastic end to 2021. Outstanding!

Have to edit my reviews now that I have been to Rustlers on a few separate occasions in my separate trips downsouth and I had varying degree of experience. 1st time I went there for dinner was absolutely amazing! I had sizzling garlic prawns as entree and a very yummy steak, 5-star service and great beer. I hadn't been back to Rustlers since 7 years ago so it's a great feeling to be back again and had the same amazing meals. HOWEVER, a few weeks after that, I went back to Rustlers again on my next trip for a takeaway. I was very excited to tuck in to the same deliciousness...only to be massively disappointed when I opened the packaging to discover a very sad-looking steak. Compare pic 1 with pic 2. I get it that maybe it's a takeaway, but still the meat was very different from the one I had before. The last time I went to Rustlers was just last week for lunch. I actually had a booking that day for dinner as well, but I suddenly had a craving for pork ribs at lunchtime. But unfortunately, I didn't like the pork ribs at all. There's no sauce whatsoever other than what was given in a small container. I was imagining a nice pork ribs dressed in a sweet sticky sauce...but instead it just came looking like a big blob which to be honest, was rather disgusting. See pic 3. Not appetising at all, but since I had to pay for it and I didn't like wasting food, so I tried my best to eat it. At least the meat was soft...but once again, the lack of nice sauce was quite unbearable. After that lunch, I actually felt sick and it totally killed my appetite for eating meat again on that day so I cancelled the dinner. So overall I had to downgrade to 3 stars due to inconsistencies. I so dearly hope I'll have a good dining experience again in my next visit cos I do miss the experience on that 1st dinner. Next time I'll stick to ONLY what I had on that 1st dinner and dining in.

Servers were nice. Price of the food is absolutely ridiculous. This isn't fine dining. Also, if you are going to be a steakhouse, get a chef that knows how to cook a steak evenly. It was a quiet night too. No rush. But we couldn't wait to leave. Also, don't be stupid, include the sauce in your pricing otherwise it's just juvenile.

We always come here for a meal every time we arrive in Albany. Everything was great as usual. The cheesy garlic bread is always out of the world!! We enjoyed the Plank steak and shared it between us with onion rings and steamed vegetables. The steak was perfectly cooked. Great value. Thank you for a lovely evening.

Absolutely fantastic service. The staff were courteous, friendly and knowledgeable. The gluten free options were plentiful and well thought out. The rib-eye on the bone was amazing as were all the sides and entrees. I just can't fault this place.

We went to Rustlers Steak House as a last resort as all other pubs were either booked or closed. They were very understanding of our problem and seated us right away. The service of the staff were amazing and we had Roger as our waiter. He was very nice and always smiling, and asked us if we enjoyed our meals and if they were cooked as we asked. I ordered the 300 gram rump steak with WA chips, medium rare, it came in 50 minutes even with staff shortages, and it was well presented and cooked as I liked it. I would recommend this place to any meat eater or just as a place to drink.

Good quality food. Prices are a bit steep but overall a great experience. Steak was well cooked but a little chewy in places. Ribs were great but need to be cooked and marinated in the sauce. Not given separately. Get the flavour in it! I'd go back.

Had a great time at this restaurant, the wait time was a little longer than ideal but otherwise no problems! A very pleasant evening was made all-the-more enjoyable by the lovely young lady that served us, Charlize. I highly commend her for her professional but warm demeanour, and her enthusiasm despite still being new to the job. She wore a smile the entire time and she greeted every guest with the same joyful attitude. I wish her best of luck in her future!! ^-^

The food was great! A little on the $$$ but definitely worth the visit. The staff are so attentive and fun to be around. The cuts of meat are amazing. I had the kangaroo and that was so lean and soft. However I do think sauce should be included in the price. They do takeaway aswell which is very convenient.

The food! Absolutely amazing, I recommend the main dish 'Rustlers Meat Board'. 💕 It comes together with chicken, rib, beef and side dishes (coleslaw, corn, onion rings). Perfect portion for 3 people and the taste.... Lost for words..👌Big shout out to the chef!!👏👏 Definitely be going back to this amazing place. Oh most importantly, it was busy but the staffs were really friendly. Especially Sarrah, she was wonderful & so sweet and always hard working. I truly appreciate her service tonight. 👍💙 Thank you so much for providing this beautiful dinner today... All I can say is thank you!!

Always an excellent steak so paying for this level of quality is fine as it was cooked to perfection. Sauce should be included in the price and shares are great but choice of a smaller portion if two people don’t want the same thing . Most of the staff are familiar and always super friendly , the odd one who is still clearly learning but that is to be expected. Not cheap but we keep going back for their steaks.

Hands down one of the best steakhouses in Australia. Great service, well-attended staff and well cooked

We shared cheese garlic bread, ribs with seafood and swapped out the chips for sweet potato chips, usually, $15, but got it for $11 after taking $4 off the main meal. With no drinks we racked up over $80! Not a cheap place to eat. The food was tasty though. We were lucky to be seated almost immediately. The place is huge.

Spacious seating arrangements. Service was good even with our waitress performing her first shift. My wife and my steaks were cooked just as we ordered them. Steamed veggies and baked potato were excellent. Chips were a bit disappointing though. They tasted like the cheap packet chips you get from the supermarket. All up though a pleasant experience. I would definitely go back but would I will not be ordering the chips.

One of the best upmarket foodery in whole of Albany,Their cowboy style theme is quite fascinating. Very spacious can be booked for groups and private functions. I tried their pork ribs, cone ribs,garlic bread and roasted potatoes the everything tastes average except the garlic bread.mojito and Shirley Temple are the drinks i tried both were upto mark.The service was exceptionally great, they got the best team as well as enough staffs so no one is over stressed.

My partner, myself and a friend enjoyed drinks and a delicious meal, accompanied with excellent customer service and an inviting atmosphere. This establishment was one of the best I’ve ever experienced! We ordered the sirloin steak, rib eye, and ribs and each meal was 11/10 and the drinks were just as delicious! Every staff member was friendly, the restaurant was clean and comfortable, and it was an all round unforgettable experience! Will be back again when we are in Albany. Thanks Rustlers Steakhouse! 👍🏼

Friendly staff and service, very professional waitress who made sure we were taken care of with order and drinks, staff asked us if we were ok and if meals was fine, had desserts and left. Great experience and great location and peaceful setting.

Flavour of the New York Steak (Medium) and the Meaty Pork Ribs were both underwhelming for the price, slightly dry as well. We did eat everything, however the service, sides and drinks were all great for the price. Cleanliness was worth noting, as it’s nice to see a clean kitchen with the dining area being thoroughly cleaned between patrons.

This is an amazing place - one which you MUST visit while in Albany. We had a table with a sea view. All dishes were fantastic. The service was incredibly friendly. And the home made desserts were irresistibly temptatious, which is self-evident from the pics included. Highly recommended!
