This is a great place, excellent walking, biking, jogging trails with amazing natural scenery. The place is well looked after by volunteers (Friends of star swamp bushland) There is an environmental centre (Henderson center) which offers a range of education and it also has an interactive app you can download for information on the history of the place while you walk through its many trails. The place is very peaceful and is welcome to dog walkers 😊 5 stars πŸ‘

Wonderful patch of remnant woodland and a freshwater lake. We saw a large flock of around 50 endangered Black-Cockatoos (Carnaby's or Baudin's, I'm not sure which).

One of my favorite places in the perth metro to visit for wildflowers, specifically native orchids. Great variety and range of native orchids. Theres a few individual plants that are particularly beautiful.

A little pocket of nature in the busy suburbs. Hear the birds, walk among the natural bush and enjoy the peace

Amazing nature reserve unique to the west coast. Can you see Quenda in the evening and Tawny Frogmouths roost in the massive engaged Tuart trees :)

Great place for a picnic , go to the water tower museum first ( entry via donation), look at the amazing views from up top.. then have a nice prepackaged lunch with the kid's on the lawn , walking trails are here also. Take note the swamp dries up mostly in Summer so the best time is after the wet periods. Kid's will love it here i know because i grew up here myself as a kid and have always enjoyed this place.

Good place for a walk. A few stops you can sit down. Downside (this is the Marmion side) is the lack of water. Make sure you’re well hydrated before heading in πŸ’š

Star Swamp is always a great place to take a stroll and to experience the nature around you. The rich forest biome and swamp habitat are an ideal place to take a jog or just to explore the wildlife around us.
