This casino is great, it isn’t the biggest but it does have a few different areas of entertainment as well as food. I love the scenery of the place, it definitely reminds me of Monte Casino in JHB, just on a smaller scale. The ice rink is also pretty awesome, and the arcade is alright, although sometimes the lines can get extremely long. Great for entertaining for a few hours.

I liked the remoteness of the complex, nice architecture and fabulous choice of restaurants. Air conditioning in the rooms could have been stronger - we were there in the middle of the summer and it was too hot in our room.

Had a wonderful time but that was because of who I'm with and not necessarily the place or service. It was super fun and the place definitely needs no introduction. It's superb and there definitely are things you can do here that you can't do at other places in and around the Cape. Perfectly situated as well. Just need some uplifting and direction for future generations.

Nice decor.... Several options for a meal.... Neat overall appearance.... Very limited options for children's entertainment while the adults are on the casino floor.... They do offer a creche service.... The sign up for an MVG card is way too long..... There should be a simpler option....

A beautiful casino to visit with so many activities to do | As restaurants to go eat at such as Burger King, milkey Lane, debonairs or if you wish to be more fancy you can visit "the Hussar Grill" or Cape Town Fish Market or even some woodfired pizza and pasta restaurant and if you feel like eating a buffet dinner there is a restaurant for that too called "Quarterdeck Restaurant" and movies to go and enjoy with your family and an ice skating rank for grown-ups and a section for the smaller kiddies. There is also a game arcade to go and have loads of fun at, and then there is the casino with a wide variety of machines to and play on and hopefully win some money 😁 there is the coolest Candy shop too that sells some cool imported sweeties and popcorn. It's definitely a treat to visit the casino.

Very beautiful place to come and unwind. It is beautiful inside and outside, very green and clean. There's a hotel and enough safe parking around. When you enter you tale about 3 minutes to go through the sanitizong stations and they take down your details to keep track of everyone who's there so that's good. The mall is very because and diversified. The restuarants are accommodative to both kids and adults, there's a casion and another entertainment side for kids and adults. The prices are quite affordable and they have a September special for bowling for R40 a person. Ice skating is R50 per person so you can go there on a small budget and still have fun. The available restuarants include, KFC, Steers, Spur, there's also milkylane, great for the weather. I would recommend this place because it's an all in one stop that includes many different things so you will definitely enjoy yourself.

The place has tons of activities to do. There: ice skating , bowling , laser tag, an arcade, cinema and tons of shops and restaurants. I would recommend going bowling especially if you are with a group of friends. You can rent out shoes or opt to go shoeless. The prices also aren’t too expensive.

Grand West Casino in one of the best gambling institutions in the Western Cape. I had a fantastic time with my uncle. We also went to a lovely restaurant for lunch. The staff who work there are very professional at their job.

Grand West Is full of packed nice vibe mall.more entertainment and fun activities for kids and adults. Casino ,kids and adults ice skating, play station bowling Lazer tag . It is open for 24/7 More security staff . Plenty of restaurants with more seating. We had our dinner at the spur restaurant very lively and great staff .Neat and clean well secured . There is a big parking lot however we have to walk to get inside . Family friendly place.

Screening for Covid is a compulsory yet simple experience, take an ID document along. Wear a mask at all times, unless of course in the smoking area, exception whilst smoking. Not overcrowded at all. Very light pleasant atmosphere. A great gambling experience. For the kids, ice-rink & gaming arena are open!

I have been there with my partner and our 5 girls. We went for the ice skating- a first time for all! This was a great experience! The girls went so emotional and this moment was really magic for them! A must do at least once in Cape Town!!

The food is really good at the restaurants. Some close early so you could be stuck with long lines in the food court. The games are fun and the drink specials are reasonable. They are going away from player cards so be warned if you go to play you may need to start an account to play.

Was easily accessible, parking was good and close enough to the entrance. The games facilities are limited in comparison to what was available 2 years ago. Many of the games did not work at all, and you only realized this after entering your tokens. The air hockey, be sure to get the holder and puck from the office first for R20 deposit, before inserting your tokens, otherwise it's a total waste. The bowling ally costs R70pp and is in good condition and fun.

It was ok but extremely crowded with long queues when I went. Don't go there on a public holiday or festive season. Had to wait for over an hour on the queue to have a bowling session.

Had a nice experience during our 3-night stay. Buffet spread is superb! The hotel is very clean, smells very good, and safe.

Chilled vibes Food and entertainment were rather affordable. The picture attached was a prize that we won at the arcade (Magic Company) for R10. The second time, we won such a prize 😁. There is one kind and helpful employee just didn't get her name. Mochachos food was freshly made and lekker Employees at Ten Pin bowling were very friendly and helpful. Ice skating was not jam-packed at all 😁 I'm not gonna say anything about Nandos because of one staff member, and that' the reason we chose Mochachos.

Happy to be back to this place. Had a beautiful lunch. Glad to see the staff members are all still around and wearing the broadest smiles behind the masks. City lodge grand west is by far the best City lodge in this Country!!

I attended a show at GrandWest Casino in Cape Town, and the overall experience was great. The process was smooth, from entrance to the event. However, there’s always room for improvement around the lavatory and bar queues.

Great food court, big ice rink, small kiddies ice rink, ten pin bowling, game arcade, secure paid parking, cinemas, hotel, bank ATM lane and casino gambling machines starting from 1 cent upwards. Easy to navigate your way around and secure dedicated disabled parking area. This place is fun for the whole family from babies to elderly people. Gambling should be done responsibly and this is what Grand West Casino encourages. Visible security in the parking lots and helpful staff in the building. Definitely worth the day or night out.

Overall it was good. Some of the arcade machines didn't work and didn't have a "out of order" sign so it took my tokens🥲 so some maintenance is needed but otherwise it was fun. 100000% recommend the laser tag!! It's so much fun

Went in just to pick someone up but wanted to buy a quick traditional breakfast or something easy but not burgers. But couldn't get something in between burgers place or expensive restaurant. But very helpful friendly staff

This entertainment world sure is living its best life and living up to its name. Even the name sounds fancy. First time I walked into the room was magical. It no longer felt like I was in a country, rather transported to a new dimension. I know y'all think I’m exaggerating, however this was how my experience went. Let’s remember this was my first time exploring Cape Town outside of the airport. Every detail of the place mesmerised me. The ceiling decor, the lighting, the atmosphere, the eateries. It is a convenient eatery hotspot not located far from hotel accommodation, namely Grand Hotel and City Lodge. Eateries vary from KFC to Marcel's Froyo to Nando's. Not far from Nando's is a sky replica with gorgeous colours. Glossy posters advertising events are on display. Great music playlist choice. After visiting, I know why it’s a popular attraction. It's as fancy as it sounds. You’re in for a grand time. If you’re familiar with the Grove Mall Windhoek, Namibia, the best way I can describe GrandWest Entertainment World to you is: picture Grove with only the eateries, then add a casino and arena inside and set up accommodation nearby. That’s the GrandWest Casino and Entertainment World.

Had no idea what to do with the kids,so we took them to Grand west casino for some bowling and arcade gaming. And wow what an enjoyable afternoon we had. Highly recommended and so much fun.

I did not like the service at Spur... it was very slow because we had a voucher and the female manager on duty denied to print it out for us at first , saying the printer is not working . In this millennium who really wants to roam around with papers when we have 5G network.

Had a fun time with the family doing some ten pin bowling and the old folks played the slots. They need better signage for the MVP parking areas though.

Grandwest Casino was well worth a lunch time visit with some special people. Setting is nice, neat, tidy and clean. Well maintained, Covid screening compliant.

Entrance into the casino was disastrous,stood in the line for temperature check while mvp card holders got in without waiting in any line. We had to stand in cold while they let them in and made us wait. Truly poor service.

Went to Grand West Casino in January 2021. Very impressive screening process. Unfortunately only players with a card can enter the casino area. Usually one could get the card inside with a R20 but now you have to stand in a line at the MVG registration for an official card. The official card was free and quick to register. Overall, neat and clean Casino area.

The service you get here ,is out of this world ,they treat their customers with love and care. They're so welcoming and polite.

We stayed at the lodge and was hoping for more entertainment but unfortunately due to curfew, the Roxy revue bar, Hanover Street, and Jackson hall was closed. Was nice to be there anyway... Hopefully next time everything will be opened 😉

When last have you gone Ice skating.. It's been at least a decade for me. The shoes seem harder and the ice more slippery than it did years before.. After a few rounds you'll feel the familiar numbness mixed with the excitement of going faster on each lap around.. Great fun

60% of the lanes were out of order which made for a long waiting time. Around an 90 min of standing in 3 different lines to get to the bowling alleys. Eventually when we got a lane we had issues while playing as well. Rather go to Claremont.

During COVID times this is the worst place to be. You will be in about 3 lines before even being able to do what you want, not recommended you go here unless you’re gambling!

The place is clean. No funny smells in the toilets. I enjoyed the games arcade more than my 2 kids. Helpful assistants from Games Arcade

It was terrible the entire non smoking has 2 bars open and 1 bar attender. There at least a 10 minute wait before getting served. It's absolutely pathetic. I thought I was in a small pub with that time of service. You have to up your game grandwest. Your service is not the standard of the sun international group
