Had a great time today. The Mall wasn't too busy and there is free parking outside. Friendly car guards,who helped me find my car! Got so excited with my new clothes etc, that's my excuse and not to mention watching the new Top Gun movie at the Imax! Awesome movie 🎥 I will definitely go back in the week to the Mall.

I love this mall. It’s only a 15 minute drive from where we live. It’s massive, absolutely spotless and has ample parking. Bear in mind to take note where you park your car though especially if you are new to this centre. It has all shops I need and use like Clicks, Pic n Pay, Checkers, The Body Shop, Pep(which I use to post Paxi parcels to my daughter) and of course the food court of which Ocean Basket is our favourite👌

Love it. It's beautiful and you'll find almost anything here. And the kids have fun too

This is clearly the big dog mall in the north east of Cape Town even though it's not too far from either Paarl in the east or Bellville to the west. It has generous parking with ample free parking and safe walk ways for pedestrians. Expect all the big brand stores and large anchor retailers and a wide variety of smaller niche stores. Couldn't find a dedicated hardware store, which was a pity, but few malls cater for those. Pleasant, entertaining mall

Convenience is key when you have everything you need, all under one roof . I needed tools and bathroom accessories, I had to get bedding and replace my daughter's watch battery, I could shop for groceries and get a UPS, all at Cape Gate.

Excellent spot to do some shopping, and especially a big shout out to Serendipity who do the best piercings. This centre has a lot to offer, but it lacks an iStore - that’s probably the only thing I would want to also see there. But nonetheless a clean place with ample parking above and below ground.

What a pleasure shopping at this mall. It is well designed, shop names are visible and everything shines like it's cleaned every hour. (Photos taken on 8.8.2023 and posted today)

All in all a good experience, however, indication signs to Toilets are few and sometimes not even well-marked at their entrances - you basicaly need to ask others or shops where to find the closest toilet. This is a very human need and respectfully must rate the mall down on this vital convenience.

Its a lovely place to be at as well you have a great selection of stores around and assistance in the mall is great it is clean and easy to shop around its never that full you always get a breather when you are there. It is safe to shop here ❤️

One of my favourite shopping centres in Cape Town. It's visibly clean & net. A huge variety of different stores & department stores that you can get under one roof. The food court has a good options to grab a meal, from MacDonald's to Roco mama.. and the cinemas are a favourite personal spot too. The parking area is really huge, it's never a hassle finding one.

Petworld is the Best. Took Amadeus Mozart. My miniature schnauzer for his grooming

The food court has various places to choose from. You can shopping for your groceries and you're clothing. You get something for everyone and on top of that there is enough parking space outside and under cover parking. It is situated neat to the free way, so if you need to get on it again it easy. There is a hospital right next to this shopping mall can you imagine that. So if you need any medical assistance they are just next door.

I love it. From outside I got helped by the boys who work on the parking bays - very helpful with direction. They told me which entrance was the closest to where I was going, and bang, I was there. The mall is picturesque - breathtaking indeed. Service at Game was awesome. I enjoyed being there. I cannot wait to take another trip there for either shopping, or sightseeing.

Dirty mall all around. No toiletpaper in bathrooms and haven't been properly cleaned in a while. Is there even a cleaning team??? Security consistently standing on phones in bathrooms. Safety = non existent.

Great all-round shopping center. Convenient road access and plenty parking both undercover or outside. All banks and grocery stores as well as electronic, clothes and appliance stores. Wide choice of fast food outlets, restauran s and cinemas.

Cape Gate is good centre for just about anything and everything. Plenty other centres nearby too. Plenty parking?? Depending on the time of year. Security has been improved. Centre is always clean and pleasant to visit. Close to the N1 and garages.

For a 1st time visitor, it was a little confusing. Some parking sqeezed between levels, the configuration of a "L" or maybe "T" shape,still not sure; the levels that aren't continuous. Had a lot of shoppes, everything u would want. Just the navigation of it all, shoo. Definitely needs more navigation screens

Great variety of different stores inside this huge mall and a very quaint food court upstairs. Most of the shops are open till late which is very convenient for popping in after work.

Cape Gate Shopping Centre, is relatively new in the area, but it's popularity is not. It has over enough underroof parking as well as open parking. It houses popular stores like Game, Checkers, Pick n Pay, Woolworths, Edgars, and lots more including a food court, which houses Ocean Basket, Rocko Mama's, Mugg n Bean, Mc Donald's and many more. It is situated right next to the N1 between Brackenfell and Kraaifontein, making it easily accessible.

I love going to Pna the staff are amazing, so helpful so friendly. Have so much patience with their costumes. I give an excellents. I am one very happy costumer.

I really like this mall. It has all the necessary shops needed for most things and all the extras. It is very clean and not too busy which is great. They have a lovely kiddies play area in the food court

My favorite mall for shopping. It has almost all the shops I do my purchase. A week can't pass without going there. Tge mall is always clean, busy and full

The mall is a great experience. It was my wife's first time at the mall and even I myself was amazed at how great it looked at that day. Clean floors, visible direction, exciting stores, the first sportscene in Cape town that is not banging loud music music lol... Unique restaurants, overall neat. NB Cumbooks is a blerry hidden gem

Love this store, it is such a pleasure shopping there since the has been upgraded. The layout of the store is so much better. Just wish it was a Hyper store, where you can get everything under one roof.

Spacious n so many retail stores all under ine roof...parking was a little slow with finding an open bay but nothing to serious, ate at the spur n we had a little setback with food, but the manager n waiter was so kind to attend n resolve it swiftly, we were satisfied n enjoyed our time further, no long queues or rush that day 😀

Not too big, which is awesome. Easy to navigate with kids. It's got all the essential shops and more.

I Patty( nickname) has been to Capegate Shopping Centre, on the 20th Dec, and as always, it's a pleasure to walk in there, hands has been santize, and the Centre is always spotless, it clean, and u feel like shopping there..a picture of me.

I live close to Capegate, so it just make sense to shop there. But yesterday afternoon I changed my mind. I saw at least 5 people without masks. Half of the others were walking around with there masks on their chins. No security in sight and no social distancing at all. I will rather drive 15 km to shop somewhere else. The police should rather leave the beaches and come and patrol Capegate.

Clean Bright Mall, most well known stores available, good variety of food stalls at the food court. Easy to navigate this mall

Cape Gate is close to my home location. It offers all the usual stores that one needs under one roof although it's much smaller than other malls. In terms of avoiding crowds for covid safety, go just after 9am or after 4pm.

When not end if the month. Then it is nice . End of month i don't go near Cape Gate. Far too busy. Very convenient for me as I live 5 minutes away from the mall.

Have been to this Centre twice in the last month and was pleasantly surprised. An eclectic mix of shops. Ended up buying new prescription lenses and frames from Neovison at an amazing R990 including the eye test and 2 frames! Will definitely be back to Cape Gate. So much more I want to explore and Builders Warehouse is just over the road. I literally live in Builders Parow, always looking for new ideas in and around the house. So nice that Cape Gate has everything within close proximity to each other.

Some great stores, but escalators not working and queues as the banks crosses the walkways instead of running in the length of the walkways, even if need be it van go down the middle, rather than blocking. Ouhout was an great experience.

It's just more than amazing. Well built. I can even spend more than a day there.

One of the cleanest malls, Great selection of retail. Food court maybe a bit small for the size of the mall but always enjoy going there. Underground parking I never ha e any card machine issues so all good.

It's a very nice mall, it has all the necessary stores and more. People are encouraged to adhere to the covid 19 rules and regulations. It can get a bit too crowded on busy days but it's overall a great mall to go to

Visited Ocean Basket before we did the movie thing. Our waiter was professional and food was of the best quality. Tried their house wine - good stuff!

Nice for accessories and clothing and even grabbing a quick breakfast or coffee. Everything in one place for 1 stop shopping I guess..parking never an issue.Security needs to be upgraded and more staff employed..keep your kids and personal belongings safe and in eye site at all times..

Today wasn't too bad, at least I found disabled parking. The queues at the banks were however ridiculous. The treatment good but a bit slow. Very neat inside!

First ti e visit and did not attend to the itself, but visited food court. Venue and businesses near and tidy and all Covid-19 Safety precautionary measures are being followed. Parking available and marked accordingly as well as wheelchair parking and entrances.

Great parking space. Love the natural light that light's up the place during daytime. Friendly people you'll meet. Lovely shops filled with things you forgot about. Great coffee and food just around the corner. No need to walk so far to get what you want or need.

Parking can be a bit of a problem during the busy peak times but the car guards make it more difficult to move in the parking areas with trying to move traffic along and not succeeding. Checkers delivery bikes also Zoom around the parking area on top of motorists, we understand they in a hurry but they seem to lower the Prestige of this mall with lowering the overall experience...perhaps you can have a dedicated area just for them with a slip lane for their bikes.

More than one shopping store. Love to do window shopping too esp during the month when u short on cash. The restaurants foods are delicious 😋 and affordable. Place is clean . Love doing my shopping there

Today we went to Cape Gate. We got into the lift opposite Shoe City area near Game. We went down to the parking level only to get stuck. We rang the bell for about 10 mins. There was no help from security, no signal in the lift to call someone. 😡 Finally two customers of CG came to our rescue by forcing the doors open for us. When paying for our parking a security guy finally came talking on his radio. He did apologise to us, after we told him we were the ones stuck. What I don't understand is how are you supposed to get hold of someone there🤔🤨it's unacceptable that there is no resources in lift to get assistance. There should be someone that answers when you press the emergency button in lift. 😤

Just one thing you guys could pay attention to is when it comes to parking tickets. This has happened a few times to me when you get in the car scan your parking ticket and it shows paid (30min free parking) and by the time you get to the boom to exit it shows not paid, but i made sure i scanned it thru zapper before proceeding to the exit. Other than that it is a well managed shopping mall with a wide choice of shops

Cape Gate is so far the best mall with not only the shops but the assistance. For example , the staff working at Foschini has the most patience with their clients and go out of their way to help you. Thank you so much Mrs Ester for helping me find the perfect shoe for my daughter.

There's jus something about this mall that gives you every reason to keep coming back. I'm a simple person and it's perfect for me. It's all about forgetting the calories and enjoying the moment.

A lot of fun places to visit. I loved the spur and ocean basket restaurants. But ocean basket needs to work on their waiting time. We waited almost half an hour before food was brought to us. The starters came at the end.

I know this place for the last 20 years and it still got everything you need. Great specials on food, clothes and household equipment and if you like to do your monthly shopping at one place this is the place to visit. Clean, wide pathways to get to your location and ample small shops for entertainment.

Most convenient as it closes late,i love to do my shopping when it is not so busy and Cape Gate makes it easy for me.

It is one of the bigger, amazing 🤩 mall in Western Cape with great design of building 🏢 as if is a stadium. It have a lot of food, clothing drinks and other stores inside, many lifts, moving stairs entertainment for kids like jumping 🏰🏯 castle & restaurant everything you get. I like to shop there, you can't be bored there only happiness 😊🤍💕🤞🌮🍔🍖🥪🍟🍿🍬🍺🍽️🏬🛒

The mall was very busy as it was the winter holiday for the school children. The mall provided entertainment for the little ones in the form of an ice skating area. For the teenagers, they could watch a movie or grab a meal in the food court.

Would you believe I was looking for a wallet and could not find one? Walked around for an hour - nothing. Couldn't find a Notice board with shop layouts or anything. Too big. Will never go back.

No securities visible within mall. People constantly asking for food or money when we are eating in the food court. Almost got robbed there ones to. Cinema is great and all food places are very good. Really like alot of the shops at CapeGate. I think Parking space is also very nice. However no visible security. Thank you.
