Blue Route Mall is so Beautiful and also it’s so a Futuristic Shopping Mall with a Nice Food Court, Grocery Stores, Gaming Stores and an 8-Screen Ster-Kinekor Cinema Complex with an IMAX Theatre. It’s also my Forth Favorite Shopping Mall in Cape Town.

A great place to shopping with various stores from food court to banking. Lots of parking available but not the closest to the entrance. Wheelchair parking bays, drop off zone and wheelchair friendly all round. I do recommend visiting Blue Route mall sometime, you won't be dissapointed.

Indeed a pleasurable shopping experience. Easy parking and the security friendly and knowledgeable indicating directions where needed. Visited Montague Fruits which where I was welcomed by friendly staff and found the products I searched for.

It is always a pleasure to shop at this mall. Parking is reasonable, and there is a fitting selection of shops and large anchor stores to meet all tastes and needs. The mall and the bathrooms are very clean: this is appreciated. The security is also good.

Even though it was busy. I have to sa that for this time of the yea, the place has a very festive atmosphere. The mall was clean and has enough parking areas. The only complaint is that the receipt from checkers with the bar code to allow you free parking doesn't work when it is scanned.

Great mall. Favorite retail store is Woolworths, the manager is hands on & friendly and the service is exceptional. Carlton hairdresser my choice. Bank Nedbank. Clicks store supervisor is the sweetest. Parking guards downstairs and humble & friendly. The little gift shop opposite checkers is convenient and reasonably priced and the owner is so courteous.

It's an amazing Mall. It is a safe place for you to do all your shopping.

Great shops here. Open parking and underground parking. Both very safe. Love the fact that you don't have to pay for the open parking. Enjoy coming for movies here too. Shopping centre kept very clean with bathrooms also generally well looked after. A large Checkers is a key draw card for many shoppers doing their monthly shopping. Enjoy all the other shops too, including coffee shops, books shops, the main clothing shops. The food court has limited options but still appealing. All round, a very pleasant experience, and even though it isn't our closest shopping centre, we usually make a point of coming though to Blue Route Mall to enjoy what it has to offer.

For any person who loves a mall and shopping, this is the mall for you. The shops are endless, from clothing shops, electronics shops, miscellaneous shops, pet shops, the most adorable little bakeries, a lovely upper floor food court (Spur, Ocean Basket, Burger King, Health restaurant and more. From a play area for the kids to the Cinema also in the mall. There really is something for everyone. Banks are also in the centre except ABSA branch which is across the road. ZoneFitness gym is also in the mall. Lovely shopping experience

Beautiful mall, spacious .. general service at shops visited was average or less... We left mall after 6 on a Sunday and had to move from one exit to another, although our car was parked closer to the one exit we couldn't use that exit. NB visit during "normal" working hours to avoid this inconvenience

Large and modern despite its age, very clean and spacious but lacking a little personality. But hey, it’s a mall, who needs a personality? Was there during load shedding and generators kicked in and everything continued seamlessly.

Great mall has all the main shops I need. Woolies,checkers, dischem and clicks. And food places: Ocean basket, debonairs, wimpy and spur. Zone fitness also recently opened their doors.

Still get that cold feeling when shopping there... it feels so out of the way... terrifying for foot patrons it's a mile away. The parking is terrible especially the drop off zone. The Taxi area that was provided is a good idea but I think they could have built a Rank on the parking area where the Tyre place is now.

More security outside building than inside would help. After 4 is becoming dodgy. I understand times are tough, but more security in parking area. Otherwise everything you can want In a shopping centre.

Generally I'm happy to shop at Blue Route. It's accessible and parking always available. Don't enjoy the "ambush " marketing by sales people who have their stalls in the middle of thoroughfares. Have also regulatly found beggars down in the parking lobby at the parking ticket machines. Security should be more alert.

My very favorite shopping mall. Everything you need in this mall. You can bank... Buy anything..... Have a choice of restaurants. Love Blue Route.

Watched a movie at the imax and they really have built the best imax by far. It's also the newest one in Africa. I work in the music and production industry. The sound was perfect to say the least. It was loud enough to feel the vibrations but not loud to hurt your ears and I have very sensitive ears. Probably the biggest screen I've ever seen

One of the bigger malls on this side. Usually quite busy, but large and spacious. Large assortment of shops and food, a cinema and a car wash. Under cover parking as well as outdoor. The traffic and the design of the roads and parking outside the mall can be a little hectic if you don't know all the lane merges etc. But the rear entrance is quieter.

The mall is always clean and it's smells great. Security is awesome . Great management. The bathrooms are sanitary and clean . Each shop follows the Covid-19 regulations that I appreciate. They also make you santize your hands often and the food court area is in order and not chaotic.

It’s very convenient, everything you need all in one go. Does tend to get full especially weekend and weekdays afternoon so prefer it week days in the mornings. It is also clean and well looked after.

Convenient parking in front of centre. The centre feels like it is missing personality. It could do with a reshuffling of tenants to drive visitors further into the centre. The first floor and as you move deeper into the centre is very quiet.

Busy vibe. Has all the stores I need. Friendly staff at each store. Ronelda at Truworths was very friendly and helpful. Had a good conversation with her regarding store items. Very knowledgeable about her surroundings. Food court just a little inconvenient. It's too close to each other and pathways are blocked by patriots. Clean mall.

I fully agree with someone named Lucy at the bottom of the reviews and it's a pity, because even after she shared her views it's still going on to this day. Things like Salespeople approaching you with no fear selling their agenda when all I want to do is get my things I came for and go. Now, I completely forgot what I came for. Then to avoid another stupid interaction you walk around them! This is unacceptable. Another concern I have are beggars. You'd think that underground parking would be safer and better, but I was wrong. I was absolutely stunned to see how much beggars walk around in the parking area underground. Some of them sit and wait as you pay for your ticket. They already know that some people will pay using cash and that change/coins will come out of the ticket booth. Security visibility is extremely low, they usually wear a red sweater and nowhere could you find security. Then you also have the beggars walking inside the mall that looks like regular folks, but they are begging for money. And you can easily identify someone who isn't shopping and who is a beggar. So, I will rate my experience at Blue Route a 1, a zero if that was an option.

This mall is the worst when it comes to underground parking. Their parking machines always have problems. The lines there are always long, and people are stressing. I was sitting in my car and watched as one of the parking machine staff came to check a machine. She took all the coins out and filled all her pockets. Is that a legit action. Mustn't they empty it in a container. Are they jeopardizing the machines to get their hands on the money? Just asking. Please clarify management and staff. This is an ongoing problem.

Different to many malls Blue Route Mall is BIG, and spread over a very large piece of territory down south. It has a vast array of shops, clothing outlets, banks, food outlets, cinemas and even a blood donation venue. Always plenty of parking available, BRM is much used by locals and is a demographic melting pot. It is definitely worth a visit.

Why do I always have bad experiences with M&B? Coffee was cold and had to go back, chicken was cold like it had been cooked before and then frozen and defrosted, the chicken was also so dry. The tplate was as hot as hell... The steak was tough. I had to drown the food in hot sauce to get some taste. Overall experience was not good....

Great mall. Big with most stores to provide you with everything that you need. My favorite part is Checker hyper. They are so affordable and lovely specials.

Very modern and clean. A great variety of shops. The corridor vendors are also a great place to get good deals. Don't be surprised to see a car dealer inviting you for a test drive around the mall, I'm joking. Great to have the movies back!

Decent enough mall for basic shopping needs. There is a cinema and a food court as well as a small pop up arcade area for kids to enjoy. The mall isn't huge and doesn't have some of the bigger shops like H&M and so on, but there is a relatively sized Checkers. If you're looking for the bigger stores and name brands then better to visit a different mall, but if you just need a few items or just want to browse and walk around a bit then Blue Route is good. They have paid, and free parking, and there are escalators and elevators available, as well as wheelchair accessible entrances and parking.

This place is huge. The imax movie theatre is a vibe. There are loads of restaurants and food stalls. Overall a great shopping centre with loads of parking. My only reason not to go there is because it’s so big. 😅👌

Only complaint is that on the weekend, there are long queues for the ladies toilets... 11 toilets but only a few are functioning why? Something to do with the new flush system I believe... This needs to be addressed. The attendant was most annoyed at us questioning her... PR needs an upgrade!

I would definitely rate this mall in the top 5 within Cape Town. The mall has high quality standards. Mall has lots of Profesional facilities that accommodates all customers, variety of stores that many other stores doesn't have to shop at. Great Management and organizational skills within the mall as well as in the parking areas.

Not too many shoppers out there today. It is possible due to the date (not mid month/month end) paid people who go out shopping. I mostly find what I need in the Mall which is convenient for one's needs.

Blue Route has and always will be my go to mall. Have fond memories of working at Woolworths years ago. With the upgrades over the last decade, it's an even better place to shop with a wide variety of shops and selection. Love it!

This mall makes no effort to accommodate people with disabilities. We parked close to the entrance so when we leave we are close but when we left the entrance was closed, went to security to ask if they can open it and was told no we had to go around to the other exit and once again go back to the first entrance when outside in the cold all while security sat on their phone.

Blue route is a very good mall, there's a few things missing, like a McDonald's or a gaming arcade, it has lots of potential to have a arcade or bowling or even go kart setup. And I'm not understanding why the balcony is always closed, would be nice if they could open it up for us to enjoy some free time outside or having meals with our significant others. Other than that blue route mall has everything that a mall needs to have.

A very convenient mall, you'll find everything you need, from banking to shopping for clothes and food, there's the cinema for entertainment, the food court offers a variety of eateries, unfortunately it is not Halaal. Hair and beauty are also available.

Nice mall to have a vist. Mist if all the places you might require to do your shopping. Great places for coffee. Beautiful and clean. Including spot less bathrooms .

I bought a pair of shoes st Quicksilver. Very friendly and helpful even though I wear a size 13 (UK) they catered for me by having a pair in stock. I would go back there again and again.

Always a pleasure to visit this mall. Always clean and the toilet are always fresh and pleasant to use. Love the refreshed lighting and decor upgrades. Appreciated that the external upgrades are kept contained and not a disturbance to parking.

Very nice outlay is really fantastic but no food kiosks for Muslims no Halaal sit downs .Not catering for the Muslim community.

What a spacious, neat-looking, inviting shopping mall housing all major retailer shops of which each showcased wide variety of products and clothing. Parking was free and parking attendees were friendly and eager to show you the parking bay closest to an entrance.

A very big mall with all the major store brands inside. Clean and neat with helpful parking aides to guide and watch over your vehicle There are loads of free and paid under cover parking areas.

A wide range of stores with a number of different services provided. All your shopping can be done under one roof. Ample (free) parking is also available. New addition of a gym is a plus.

Worst service at Ocean Basket. We got placed at a table the waiter totally ignored us. We flagged down another waiter and decided to leave. Don't know if they rate people on how they look or that we actually deserve good service.

I just love shopping at Blue Route mall. It's nice and clean. My number one mall. However what happened with the plan of a third floor that they were supposed to build after very first renovation?

Blue Route Mall it's a pleasure to shop there. It'z in transport reach easy to shop with it's aircon very pleasant never overcrouded and the parking spaces is very convenient. Sometimes full butnot for long and the parking attdndents are very friendly and helpful

The mall is very spacious. This is good for individuals that can not handle small spaces. Although, the mall can get crowded. There are variety of shops to choose from. Also, it is easy to find as it is located near major landmarks. It is worth the visit, since the environment is friendly and the shops have great specials.

I enjoyed my time at the mall which was infact my third visit to the mall😷. The place was very quiet and I think it has to do with the situation we currently experiencing all over the world. Me and my cuz arrived about 13h00 at the mall and the quietness of the place contributed to enjoying our shopping. We visited Woolies and enjoyed sushi at OB afterwards.

As malls go, Blue Route is one of the nicest. It's designed nicely and is ready to walk around, and has some great shops. It could be a little bit more friendly though.

My favourite and convenient place to go for my shopping and banking needs. A bite to eat and also the odd printing. I have a good experience all of the time.

Parking can be troublesome at times. Clean, modern ablutions. Has all the necessary shops within the mall. Wide walkways offer a free flow of shoppers. Not congested at all

A great mall, not too huge, a good selection of shops, and cafes, easy parking. A bright cheerful place to be. Some of the staff in Woolworths need to be a bit more cheerful, maybe some smile training.

Large Mall, with many different shops and experiences,good restaurants and a Movie House. Very clean and well maintained toilets. Elevators that work almost always. Lots of parking. Easy to find your way around. Small children friendly.

A mall always convenient to stop by. With clothing stores, supermarkets and food courts. Blue Route is a staple to the community. The mall has been renovated and upgraded into a world class shopping center. Ample parking available.

It's a mall what more can I say. Loads. Of people and tons of shops with no one inside except the staff. They have most of what you'll need. Even a place to donate blood.

I like this mall as, like Century city, it is rectangular and managable for the man-brain.

Too many minibus taxis. This is probably the only Mall with that amount of visible taxi. People using taxi are irritating, they use their tobacco products at places where its states no tobacco product use. The centre management is incompetent, they have designed areas for the Tobacco products usage, yet they allow customers to use their tobacco products at the two main entrances just to annoy those who choose not to use tobacco.

Love this mall with the wide open walkways. All the shops you need and also lots of eateries. Very clean mall and helpful security staff. Ample, free parking.
