The property really disappointed me in terms of the room and the breakfast spread. I then proceeded to cancel my room, paid an extra night's rate as penalty and moved to the hotel next door. Cons: -The chemicals used to clean the room left a distinctive smell. Not sure if this is the case for all rooms. -The breakfast restaurant is aptly named "market" as there is no crowd control. Food items once consumed are not further refilled. Hence, you can have a great breakfast only if you reach there by 7-8am. Couple of Pros: -The staff are friendly. -The pool is quite large and apparently the largest on the island. -The chocolate hour at 3pm is not to be missed. -The shuttle bus to the white beach is a great support for tourists.

Great location and nice rooms, but the service at the beach bar is disappointing. Everybody is super nice, kind and forthcoming, but on several occasions regardless of the workload or "number of people around", our orders were forgotten and we had to follow up multiple times. Happy hour is until 6 and after we ordered at 5:30, we spent some time at the beach just to realize that half an hour later, the drinks have not even been started. Conveniently... The happy hour was over by then... Apart from this, everything is nice even if there could be some more options especially in the breakfast buffet where there is only one type of milk and the bread selection is very limited.

If you want exclusivity, this is the place to be. Service is superb. Service with a smile is their motto. Very friendly and helpful staff. There was a time when we went back to the room, there was no electricity. I thought it's because of the island issue of power shortage. But our next door neighbor has electricity in their room. So called Reception to report and within 5 to 10 mins, Maintenance is running towards us already. He easily identified the concern and replaced the card slot which restored the electricity in our room. Food can be improved. Breakfast is mostly the same everyday. Dined 2x in The Market but as I said, food can be improved. Nevertheless, loved our stay there. Thank you Mövenpick!

It was a superb experience. The place is really great and the staffs were so accommodating. We enjoyed our honeymoon and they gave us a special treat. The resort is located far from the usual boracay stations and the beach was just exclusive to the 3 five star hotels. You can feel the calmness and serenity of the place. Not so much crowded and you will always feel like you are a VIP.

The resort itself is nice with a private beach. Overall, I'd be happy to come back and stay here again. The downside is that the rooms are not very peaceful. Most of the rooms are connected via a very thin door, you can clearly hear people the next room. We changed 2 rooms and they had the same problem. I could completely hear the conversation in next door rooms. I am very surprised this is not mentioned in other reviews. Finally the front desk manager was kind enough to upgrade our room to one without a connecting door. Bar and restaurant staff were cheerful and friendly. But orders at the bar and restaurant constantly get forgotten or come out wrong, no matter how simple or basic your order is. This happened almost at every meal/order we had. We also tried the spa, which was one of the primary reasons for choosing this hotel. The dry sauna room was not switched on and the female staff kept coming to the male changing room without even knocking. This made me feel uncomfortable. The massage quality was average at best. You can probably get better ones at other places.

Great decor. Clean beach. Lifeguard always on duty during the day. Elaborate pool. Life jackets available. Excellent restaurants. Transfer service from the airport to the hotel is very professional. The complimentary body cream helps with sunburn. Gym is clean with excellent equipment.

Worst 5 Star experience ever, the hotel is a maximum pf 3-4 hours. Location, beach and sea is amazing… but that’s all! Waiting times for lunch and breakfast up to 1-1,5 hours. The hotel is lacking of service and management is aware but has this not under control. We went for lunch to the real 5–star hotel on the left and right and got 5 star service. There aren’t enough sunbeds and chairs, glasses are still dirty, restaurants are not working well. You can use the hotel for beach and sea, but that’s all. We have avoided to have dinner in the hotel after our lunch experience.

Great service! Their staff are very attentive to the needs of their guest. Clean rooms and surroundings. Love the chocolate hour and the happy hour. I would prefer not to go out from the resort for food, island activities and massage but needed to as it is a bit pricey.

If I was rating the staff would be 5 star as they was all lovely. Mae who is one of reception managers was very attentive and delivered great service. Outside of staff service everything else was pretty average. *Food very hit and miss. Something each time when I ordered was told was missing. *Rooms ok. During our stay we didn’t have cleaning twice as when we got back to the room for the two evenings no one had yet been. This shows maybe lack of staff in this area when hotel was pretty full. *If you want to lie on the beach you lie directly on the sand no sun beds on the beach. Looks like the hotel is fun for kids/families but wouldn’t advise if you are a couple. Overall pretty average and wasn’t worth the money.

Very good service, great room we stayed in building A for four days. Breakfast is up to the standard. Beach is clean and great sunset. Pool bar is amazing too. Great kids activities too. Only thing would have been better if the DJ could play the music louder, the music level in the evening is too low

I had great relaxing at their private, although, personally, I consider it a luxury pick, it's well worth considering, especially if you want to relax and distress. The beachfront is very beautiful and clean. The rooms are comfy and quite spacious. They have a variety of amenities to cater to your needs so you can enjoy everything else without leaving the resort.

The location in Boracay is a major draw. Away from the maddening crowd of the main white beach, the area feels very exclusive. The room we stayed at was also great. The bed was nice and pillows. Feels very comfortable. The huge pool area is also a plus for families and as an option to the beach. Staff were nice and kind and helpful.

We didn’t want to leave the resort after a magical week of wedding celebrations with friends and family. Nothing was too much trouble, all of the staff were friendly and helpful, and the resort is like being in paradise! So many activities to do, or you can spend your days in the best pool ever (kids loved this), at the beach or being pampered. The breakfast buffet is divine, there is a wide variety of menus to choose from, and the cocktails are delicious. No hesitation in recommending the Mövenpick Boracay for your next holiday.

A wonderful resort and all the staff are very friendly men and women. The hotel is adjacent to Shangri-La Hotel. The beach is beautiful and the service too, but unfortunately the restaurant closes early at 10pm. I ask the hotel management to replace the toothbrush because it is very bad. The rooms are spacious and beautiful. The resort in general is very beautiful. There is a bus to take guests to the center of the island. At four different times, every two hours, but you must inform the reception at least two hours before your flight, or you can go to the center of the island at any time by motorbike. They will immediately arrange one for you to transport you, and the cost is 300 pesos, which is equivalent to $5. I hope that the resort will create an international restaurant and not limit itself to the Italian and Filipino restaurant for breakfast, as it is large and varied. Of course, the prices inside the hotel are high, especially at the pool bar. Please note that there are children with their families, so you will feel the disturbance of the children

The service can definitely do with some training. When ordering from the Cafe your paying top dollar for a coffee, yet they don't fill the takeaway cup up, so not sure if that's a training issue or a way to rip off your value for dollar being a tourist. (There is a Starbucks in the tourist centre in town! Go there for your coffee!) The location is great. Changed room as first was over the lobby and was not impressed, so got a different room with a view. However, you compromise on space and luxurious fittings! The room service menu is limited! If travelling with an older person, mobility may be difficult in places. Also, there is nothing at the resort for an older person to do except sit and waste days away. Upon check out we had unexpected charges which my husband didn't query as he was in a hurry to meet our transfer and is not a confrontational type of person.

Absolutely amazing The entire team made the duration of our stay so easy Every individual we came across were so accommodating. Surprisingly it was the best hotel experience I have ever had, and working in business development the number is in the 100s.. The entire team being the reason behind it. The location and facilities being a bonus. This speaks a lot for the culture within the business and the hotel manager should be very proud of his team. Well done.

Highly recommended! +: Overall very good rooms and nice swimming pool area +: Great food for breakfast with large variety. Also, don’t miss chocolate hour at 3pm +: Very very friendly staff! (Thanks Ish and Ruth for the tips :) ) +: Amazing airport transport and shuttle services Small points of improvement: -: Checkout time was quite long relative to other hotels. I felt reception was undermanned as I checked out. -: Would be great to see more shuttle buses. I felt the times were a bit limited. Definitely would visit again. Thank you all!

As parents we always make sure that our kids have something to do at the beach not just swimming (for health and safety reasons). Having to ride a plane with luggage weight restrictions, we were only limited to a shovel and a pail, normally we bring A LOT. But when we arrived at the beach at our hotel, when my 1 yr old daughter and 5 yr old son saw the beach toys that the resort provides free of use, they just couldn't resist and started playing even if we haven't checked in yet! As a family with small kids, what we also appreciated most about Mövenpick Resort & Spa Boracay is their Little Birds Club, a day-care area where you can leave your kid/s safely while you go on a date or have a massage together with your wife (within the resort premises off course, just in case your kids look for you), or just while packing your things. It also has activities for kids, what we LOVED most especially is their sand castle making activity. They teach your kids (also us!) how to make a proper sand castle. We all enjoyed it! My kids and us were lucky enough to have a one-on-one class. *Other activities require additional charges for materials, but for a minimal fee. They surely know how to satisfy their little guests. When you see your children's happy faces and know that they are satisfied, it makes the trip so much worth it! Will definitely come back if given the chance.

One of the best resort. Their receptionists and staff were really helpful and friendly. Great staff who knew how to serve the customer. The room was well equipped and the service was excellent. The scenery was beautiful and it was a relieve to walk in such a quiet and peaceful environment. Excellent hospitality.

I had an amazing stay! The hotel has a beautiful and luxurious design, and the staff were all incredibly friendly and helpful throughout my entire stay. The rooms were spacious and well-appointed, with comfortable beds and stunning views of the city. The hotel also has fantastic dining options, with delicious food and a great atmosphere. Overall, I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a luxurious and memorable stay.

I had an amazing stay at this resort and spa .The room was spacious and luxurious, and the spa treatments were top-notch. The staff were also incredibly friendly and helpful. The views from the balcony were breathtaking, with a panoramic view of the ocean and the sound of the waves lulling us to sleep at night. Overall, I would highly recommend this resort and spa to anyone looking for a luxurious and relaxing getaway.

Stayed here for 3 nights with my partner, and i promised to be back with our kids because they will love the pool for sure as it is the largest in Boracay Island. Love the location, station 0 is such a nice area if you really want a romantic and quiet place to relax. Oh i love their chocolate hour and breakfast buffet! 🥰

My mom and I absolutely loved our stay at this resort. The rooms were spacious with a nice aesthetic. Their beach is absolutely amazing, very clean, minimal rocks and the ambiance of the resort itself was really great. They also have a really impressive breakfast buffet and a chocolate happy hour from 3-4pm which was completely free. However, I do wish that they had more shuttle pick up times from the white beach area. We were forced to stay there for 3 hours and thought it was way too long for us. But we also did go during a very hot time in the Philippines. Movenepick is a very organized resort. You can pay 7,000peso round trip for a shuttle to the boat transfer which was private, so we are were able to skill the long lines. And then from there we had another private shuttle from the boat transfer to the airport. It was 100% work it! I definitely will be planning on staying with them again in the future.

A resort well situated overlooking Mövenpick Resort & Spa Boracay. We visited the restaurant. The restaurant caters to very tasty food. The ambience is very good. The sea view from the deck is amazing. We had a look at the hotel/accommodation which appears to be well maintained. We will certainly like to stay on this resort in the next visit.

Great value for money especially given that this resort is on the more expensive side of the island. Best part is the Sol Marina Bar that has a perfect beach access and really nice staff. The pools were huge and modern and elegantly designed. The rooms are OK, could definitely have better interiors, but facilities were very clean throughout our stay. One downside is their naming/numbering convention for the rooms. It was a bit confusing with the building numbers and all, took a while to get used to. Staff were all very warm and helpful. Overall a good stay.

If it is relaxation and recharging you are looking for this is it. From the two fine dining restaurants to the sea side bar on the private beach this place is worth more than 5 stars. The facilities were beyond all expectations and the staff are the most wonderful on earth. Swimming alone in an endless pool with the tropical breeze in the palms was absolute bliss.

We had the best stay here! We visited a couple of beaches on the island, and we found the hotel’s beach to be the best- not crowded at all, with perfectly clear waters and marine life. The staff were friendly and helpful, and what our stay better was the mind boggling array of food available at the breakfast buffet! Not to mention the chocolate hour for afternoon tea, such a luxury!
