I usually head to 328 Clementi for my tropical fishkeeping go-to shopping fix which is great. First impressions of Iven: he was tremendously knowledgable, friendly and willing to share information about all the different fish stocks he has and also advanced care tips. He didn't rush around trying to do his own things, but took time to engage and converse with me and my friend. He has a pretty solid selection of small fish species. What's really impressive is that his fish stocks look like they are in great health. Their fins are intact, their activity levels are high and coloration is bright. No sign of fungus, finrot or dirty substrates. Most other shops I've been to don't display the healthy levels that Iven Betta has on display. I picked up a few lampeye for my nano tank and they look really well adjusted after simply dropping them into my tank. I've gone to many other shops and got fish that died mysteriously within days (not due to any care or water parameters on my part) Why trust me? I've been keeping and rearing fish for the past 33 years of my life and I've been seldom impressed with local fish shops. I've been to at least a 100 shops over the course of this hobby and set up and tore down countless tanks for discus, aquascaping, CRS shrimp Iven Betta is a must-go place for betta enthusiasts, who might be willing to splurge 3 figures to get exotic rare bettas. Iven also stocks specilaity shrimp, corys, tetras and essentials to get a medium size tank up and running.

Bought this big betta fish a few weeks ago and it is still very healthy . Satisfied with my choice.

Bought from this place twice, but both times the fishes did not last for long. Bought a $50 betta from him at first, when I brought it home it was lethargic for days and mostly inactive. Within 2 months, the condition deteriorated and my betta eventually passed away. Second time, I ordered Amazon puffers from him, went down to the shop and noticed that one of the puffers was sickly and had white spots so I did not take that puffer in the end. Also noticed that the husbandry at the shop was not up to standards, some other fishes in the tank has ich, one of them looked like it had velvet but nothing was done for it (plus almost all of the tanks share the same water so the ich would have spread to other healthy fishes as well). Brought back the rest, and the condition just worsened from then and half of them died while in quarantine from severe ich outbreak although I tried everything I could. Never will I buy fishes from him again. If you are visiting the store, take a closer look at his other fishes, most of them have white spots. Highly would NOT recommend this fish store despite the raves and the diplomas hanging around in-store until the owner does something about the animal’s welfare and husbandry.

Nothing special. Water is dirty.. Betta fishes looked half dead.

Bought a giant betta for $80. Was told the fish was tired but fine because it had apparently been left to flare with other fish for more than an hour. It died in about 1.5 weeks. Utterly disappointed, will never return.

It is an amazing store the price may be high but you won't regret it. Is amazing their quality. I bought a wild betta pair and was delivered the next day super fast delivery. And even better the channoides pair was spawning the next day! I cannot believe how hood their quality control is. Even with delivery shock the fish spawned so fast. An amazing store and amazing owner. Very quick response as well and always answers to your inquiry. If u are a wild betta fan u should go check them out even if the store is far they have a nice and easy to use online store. Amazing, bought two times from them already. 👍 👍 😊

Ordered some tank equipment + a nerite snail. Items came quickly. The snail burried itself at first but is now actively moving around.

First impressions of the place : Nice ambience Fish look healthy Decent amount of decor I literally love this place! Although the smaller tanks have quite a little bit of algae in it, everything else is good! Though there is small walk space, there is ample space to move around. Staff were very kind + a little busy. You have to wait a while before they attend to you but i don’t really mind. Wide variety of fish, tank sizes, and plants! I bought some food and a syphon from there. Tank prices are just a little overpriced but overall everything is great! So close to my home, and the staff very knowledgeable on the things they had there. Will definitely revisit to get plants etc next time.

Made a visit all the way down only to see the fish I was interested in to be kept in poor condition. Thankfully, I didn't order online too.Won't visit again, very disappointed.

Do not buy online from this store if you are a foreign customer. I ordered a pair of Macrostoma betta, first shipment they sent me a female ONLY (dead), no male. Then, they sent me a replacement, another female ONLY, no male again. I asked for a refund, they did not respond. Very irresponsible and unreliable. Don’t trust their business. Wish I could give them 0 star.

Bought competition grade wild bettas from them, came looking worse than long kang fish. Cannot imagine their non competition ones. Will nvr buy from them again.

I love shopping here, and Iven Betta is one of my regular places for aquaria products. Got my first shrimps here when I started the hobby. There are great discounts either online and Iven will give you discounts too for inshore sales. The fishes are healthy, and a good selection of small fishes for nano tanks like mine. Their potted plant selection may not be as wide or varied, but they don't die or melt on me. Small shop, but packed with lots of goodies. Parking can be a problem at peak periods and weekends if you drive.

I bought an OASE internal filter online and discovered the store at KAP mall, so my wife and I decided to check it out. It's a small shop on the 2nd floor and totally out of place among the other shops there. But we talked to the young chap manning the fort who was knowledgeable and gave good advice. I think the prices of stuff there are reasonable but it's not much fun to wander around due to the small size. And the mall is kinda sad so we're unlikely to go back.

Very very bad customer service. They act as if customers owe them money. Wanna enquire about things I bought from them and they either read and don’t reply or tell you they very busy no time to answer you. Will not ever shop in their stores anymore.

Fishes here all look well taken care of, people there are friendly and helpful. Have some harder to find fishes too like dwarf cichlids, killifish, rarer livebearers and of course wild bettas.

They have most of the things needed to setup your tank. The price is reasonable too.
