Probably our favorite Chinese spot in the city. Stellar food, cute restaurant, quick service, reasonable prices, shareable plates. A fantastic variety across the menu of traditional options from the region that I haven't seen anywhere else. We initially ordered only things we had never encountered anywhere else in the city and were not disappointed by a single dish. Our favorite was the ChengDu handmade sweet and spicy noodles. A delightful experience from start to finish.

This is my go-to place when I'm craving spicy beef noodle soup. I come every every other month when it's cold outside, and all their broths and noodles are fantastic. I was feeling lazy today and decided to order takeout - it did not disappoint, and everything came perfectly and warm. Staff has always been really nice and kind, so I always look forward to coming back. Out of the things I've tried that I remember, I recommend: - Spicy fries - Signature spicy beef noodle soup - Wonton in volcano broth Note: for takeout, the noodles are packaged separately, so you can add them to the broth once you're ready to eat

Cute panda bags if you order to go. Service is good. I recommend 冒菜 (beef mix hot pot) and蕨根粉。the jelly dessert is great too.

I went on Wednesday during lunch time, not much people but most of the table got reserved. The decorations really nice. The sever was very friendly and the food came out quick. I was surprised. My husband love the “ Wide glass noodles”, it really chewy. Recommend this place and everyone should try it 👍 If it helpful to you, please give me a 👍. Thank youuu ❤️

Great spot for dinner. Friendly staff. We had the Volcano broth with wonton. It was delicious !!! with LOTS of hot chili oil and wonton. Note to self: let soup cool down before eating 😀. Will be going back for another meal.

Beautiful place, great atmosphere and music! The food is just out of this world! EXQUISITE!😍 I ordered the beef noodles in spicy broth and everything was amazing, perfect balance of flavor, the fragrance and term of the beef, I do believe this is the best place to eat authentic and homemade Chinese food in Chicago ❤️ Love it!

Royal Highness Zhu, where every dish is a handcrafted masterpiece, bringing you the authentic taste of the East. Chengdu's culinary artistry is renowned for its mix of flavors – hot, numbing, sweet, sour, savory, and nutty – a hundred dishes, a hundred flavors. Feast your senses on the Heart-broken Bean Jelly, Tempting Bon Bon Chicken, Glass Noodle Hot Pot, Chengdu Beef & Veggie Mix Hot Pot, Traditional Chicken Noodle Soup, and Signature Spicy Beef Noodles With Egg. End on a sweet note with Refreshing Cold Cake, Osmanthus Cake - Floral, Delight From Chengdu - Longing Green Tea - Cinnamon Cake, and the delightful Peach Blossom Pastry. Royal Highness Zhu isn't just a restaurant; it's a journey through Real Culture Food from the East ☺️🤍

Straight up phenomenal southwestern Chinese food. Everything we got was an absolute hit, the prices were very reasonable and service was wonderful. This is also a very vegetarian friendly restaurant with lots of tofu options that aren't just an afterthought Definitely order their dumpling appetizer, its so worth it. Also the volcano noodles sound spicy but really aren't, so don't worry!

Had to give this place a try after someone posted about it on the Chicago food subreddit. It didn’t disappoint! Authentic cuisine that was flavorful and delicious. I had the spicy beef noodle soup which was satisfying with the cold weather. My boyfriend is vegetarian, and the menu has a lot of veggie options. He had the tofu/bean curd and the vegetable hot pot and enjoyed both dishes. The food came out quickly after ordering it via my phone. Will be back to try out more dishes!

Very nice atmosphere with calming music playing in the background. Service was great, you order with your phone and the food comes quickly and very hot. We enjoyed all the dishes we ordered (soft bean curd, sweet and spicy noodles, tomato and egg noodles ans veggie hot pot) but the veggie hot pot was our favorite. Just spicy enough and delicious flavours. Will be coming back!
