👍👍 As an overweight woman who has never done any type of Kickboxing class, I was very intimated the first time I walked in the doors. My 2 young sons and husband did Jujitsu and I did Kickboxing. It very quickly felt like a second home to us. The coaches and staff were always very kind and profession... People often mention coaches, Roufusport, expect, staff, great,

As an overweight woman who has never done any type of Kickboxing class, I was very intimated the first time I walked in the doors. My 2 young sons and husband did Jujitsu and I did Kickboxing. It very quickly felt like a second home to us. The coaches and staff were always very kind and professional and we all left having a great workout. We are all taking a break from class while the pandemic dies down, but are very excited to get back. I highly recommend the kids Jujitsu classes! My kids thought it was so cool being trained by actual fighters.

I started training at roufusport 2020 June. I’ve been to many other self defense kick boxing gyms, and this one here by far is my favorite place to train. The community is great it’s like a second family. The facilities are well maintained and sanitized. The coaches are great and willing to help anyone and everyone. The gym will get you fit and teach you self defense, killing two birds with one stone. All in all go in check the gym out talk with people and you’ll come to love it as much as I do🙌🏽

I've been training Jiu-jitsu on and off for about 4 years and have been a member of multiple gyms as my job has moved me around different states and cities. While each gym has had things I liked, Roufusport is the first gym that has checked all the boxes for me: - Friendly environment - classes 7 days a week - follows a curriculum - people of all sizes and skill levels - great for anyone who wants to compete or just train for fun. I moved to Milwaukee from South Florida last summer without knowing anyone in town. All the Jiu-jitsu coaches have fostered an environment that makes me forget I'm so far from home. I am especially thankful that as a small woman, I have a safe space to train. The coaches also go out of their way to make everyone in class feel important and genuinely take the time to give their attention to all students. Not only are the coaches completely in love with the sport, but it is clear that they are very passionate about passing the knowledge down to anyone who steps on the mat. Roufusport has played a large role in making me feel at home in Milwaukee.

I have trained at Roufusport for over 14 years with the purpose of achieving consistency, discipline, direction and the overall acquisition of knowledge/value. I’ve quietly observed and seen many come and go, and some misrepresent what Roufusport stands for. When you have been in operation as long as they have, opposition is inevitable. Not everyone will be with you in the end. One thing I can say for sure though is, as far as my experience, Duke has remained consistent in his principles, work ethic and his efforts in regard to achieving excellence, as he should. He definitely stands for what he believes in, no matter what. This is after all, his livelihood. Because of this, he expects the same from his students. He puts the ball in your court and will give you the tools you need to succeed, so it’s always your choice how you use them. The main instructors are all old school, gritty, perfect (to me). Don’t expect a father, although they can give fatherly guidance. Don’t expect a movie-like coach experience, although I’ve seen them help people live a movie. It’s really up to you what you make the experience. The fight business ain’t pretty but they prepare you for it. Depending on what you want to achieve, they will provide value in the appropriate manner. But they WILL hold you accountable. Duke is in many ways a principled man, a man’s man, and none of us are perfect but because he strives for excellence, he will demand it from you too. If you are a casual visitor looking to be active and get in shape or learn to defend yourself, this will be a great experience for you. If you are an aspiring fighter, expect to WORK. If you take it easy, things will become hard, but if you go hard, things will become easy. When you choose to become a fighter, you are making a decision to become a stand-alone business, the stakes change. Nothing was ever achieved without adversity, so he will forge you through the fire, don’t expect to know how and don’t expect to be coddled. Just expect to EARN your keep, expect value in elite fight knowledge, character building and wisdom as a cherry on top. If you want to be a master of your mind, a master of your body and a champion, Duke will draw the calculated savage out of you.

This place only cares about the money and not their fighters whatsoever. They will not show up for your fights and if they do…they’ll keep you in the ring even if you are on the verge of death. (May sound familiar to Coach Koshman) At the end of the day they only care about the paycheck they make off of you. It might seem sweet but turns bitter fast. They’ll snitch on you to other coaches so you loose and go behind your back. Please take my advice never NEVER go to this gym if you want to look like a joke at the end of the day.

My son has been training here for nearly 3 years and I cannot even begin to put into words how he feels about Roufusport. This is is second home, he loves walking through the doors and learning from the best of the best. This is an atmosphere where you are family, not just a teammate or student but FAMILY. At all times you feel welcome and supported in any journey you are about to take on. Thank you to everyone there that has helped my son become the amazing little man he is today, because of all of you he has so much confidence, support and love anyone could ask for. 💛🖤 Hard work and dedication all day!

I didn't know much about MMA, kickboxing, or jiu jitsu when I started coming to the gym August 2019. Roufusport was extremely welcoming even when I went in intimidated, and has grown to be a true gym family. As a woman, I have have felt safe, unobjectified, and comfortable. Shout out to the staff, coaches, and fighters who have shown and encouraged me how to work to be 1% better everyday.

My 10 year old son has trained here for just under a year. He started out new to it all and has quickly gained more confidence and made friends with a ton of kids on the fight team. The coaches are amazing, they truly care about their fighters/students. My 16 year old daughter and I started training with the adults the staff and coaches treat everyone as equals, they expect you to work hard and encourage you to be the best you can be. We are there so much that it is basically our second home and the coaches and staff feel like extended family. It is a great place to help teach kids and adults self discipline, respect and self defense. I would recommend this gym to anyone.

This is the best gym I've ever trained at. The coaches and staff are awesome and the wealth of knowledge that comes with the training is amazing. Roufussport is open 7 days a week and have a variety of programs from kids to adults, recreational classes, and professional mma. Everyone is welcome with open arms no matter your goals are. Whether you want to have fun, learn self defense, lose weight, or become an elite mma fighter this is the perfect place for that.
