My
mom
and
I
stopped
here
the
day
before
Thanksgiving
on
the
way
between
Houston
and
New
Orleans,
needing
a
bit
of
caffeine
and
we
were
very
pleasantly
surprised
by
how
wonderful
everything
was.
First,
the
atmosphere
was
great,
exposed
brick,
chalkboard
menu,
very
calm
and
quiet
enough
to
work,
and
they
even
had
Christmas
decorations
up
already.
Just
very
warm
and
welcoming.
And
speaking
of
welcoming,
the
people
who
worked
there
were
so
helpful
to
us,
explaining
parts
of
the
menu
we
didn't
understand
and
just
being
generally
warm
and
welcoming
and
genuinely
thanking
us
for
visiting
them.
Lastly,
the
food
was
DIVINE.
The
cinnamon
roll
I
had
was
honestly
the
best.
Warm,
soft,
gooey-the
perfect
amount
of
cinnamon
and
sugar.
And
CREAM
CHEESE
FOSTING!!
So
good.
My
mom
got
a
chocolate
chip
cookie,
it
was
also
really
good.
You
can
tell
they
used
quality
chocolate
and
who
ever
bakes
for
them
puts
a
lot
of
care
into
their
work.
All
in
all,
I
really
enjoyed
this
place
and
encourage
more
people
to
take
a
break
from
i-10
and
grab
a
coffee
there.
