    Good afternoon, this message is pertaining to the Manager & her customer service. Upon my arrival I saw her sitting at the table doing what could've possibly been her paperwork. I also noticed a 6-9 month old baby in a car seat next to her, & a 3 year old little girl running around them. I proceeded to the service line, to get my dinner, & not once did she look my way. I didn't see anyone in the back, so I turned & asked her if someone was back there to help me. She told me that they were closed. At this time I look at my phone & notice the time is 7:20, I said but ma'am you close at 8. She said yes but we're closing early due to low employees. Then she calls her employee from the back & says did you count the bread yet because if you did, we can't serve her, he said no ma'am. Then she says well you can server her if YOU want to, I am 5 months pregnant & holding a 2 year old in my arms so at this moment I become a little frustrated. He proceeds to get his gloves out to serve me & I say thank you because she wasn't making sense. She then says to me, while sitting at the table excuse me, this is MY store & I have the RIGHT to refuse YOUR service. So I said to her well at this point he is already about to make my order, THANK YOU. The boy makes my order & is very courteous to me, I say nothing else to her, pay for my order & leave, as I wanted to do before. I have been to this location many times & I am familiar with the actual franchise owner & his son, they are very nice people. I have also spoken to this same lady before, she has complained about doing HER job & employees not showing up but never got ugly with me as she did tonight. I am one that understands how being understaffed can be frustrating, but I also know that as a manager she should learn to keep her composure. If she felt that she needed to close early, she should've locked the door & not ignore me as I proceeded to her service line to avoid the confusion. I love going to subway but I would hate to have to avoid this store altogether because I will not allow anyone, especially a manager who should be leading by example, to ruin a night for me with their attitude. As a customer I had nothing to do with what she had going on personally or the short staff situation. When she also knew that she shouldn't have had her kids running around at her job or let alone HER STORE like she said, not professional. If someone could please contact me, it would be nice to voice my concerns to a customer service employee.

    We had some pretty amazing service at this location. Although the location had a trainee, the manager was very nice and helpful to ensure our order was accurate. We have been on a 10 day vacation and now heading back to Texas and I must say that this is the best, friendliest and most hospitable service we have had throughout our entire trip. Pretty sad but very grateful. We really needed that especially for a group of 11. :-) Thank you to that subway team. God bless. 1030 N. MARTIN LUTHER KING, Lake Charles!

    My husband and I were traveling through yesterday and stopped here to grab dinner. WORST decision. The food seemed good at first and the employee was okay at first too. Got back to our hotel and my husband gets like 2 bites in and finds a COCKROACH in his sandwich paper wrapper smooshed to his bread. Went back to get a refund and lodge a complaint and had to argue with the employee to call the manager when a refund was refused. She tried to remake the food, like we were going to eat anything else that came from this restaurant 🤢🤮. The manager claimed that she was out of town and couldn’t make it until today (the next day) to do a refund. I asked if anyone else could come to the store and do it, and she said no. I understand that everyone needs a vacation, but having only one person employed at a restaurant that can approve refunds is RIDICULOUS. She either lied or this is the worst managed restaurant I’ve ever had the displeasure of dining at. We had to leave bright and early this morning to travel home so I just walked out before I lost my temper even more. I was polite as could be and was still treated awfully for asking for something completely UNACCEPTABLE to be corrected. I have contacted corporate, but wanted to warn people: DO NOT EAT HERE! Neither the employee or the manager seemed surprised AT ALL that there was a bug in the food, and didn’t seemed bothered at all either!!

    Went at 745 and after a minute of standing around we're told they're closed. The sign says open till 10 on Saturdays and when we left he chased us outside to say it's closed at 8. The sign says 10.

    This store doesn’t look like much from the outside, but it is super clean inside, including the bathrooms. The food is fresh and well prepared. We stopped along our way heading west and are glad we did.

    Got my order wrong and BC they were a lil busy and I was starving I hate HF of my footlong when the lined got quiet I went and told the employee. He says well I need Ur sandwich back and since u ate half I can only correct half. I accepted it BC I was hungry and could eat the wrong one later n evening. So I rolled with it. But defiantly need better customer service. Otherwise place is nice clean would recommend also

    This has gone from a place I walked out of before they finished the sandwich to a weekly stop. Kudos to the new owners for getting it right. Kudos to the staff for great service!

    This review gets 1 star due to not having customer accessible bathrooms, while the staff can go in and out at will. Kinda hard to eat with dirty hands. Also Sandwich Artists were not wearing masks so vulnerable people be wary. Food was overall good and par for the course for a Subway. Customer service was good as well. Drink machine was out of order at the time as well.
