Everything is amazing. Their renovations are beautiful and calm colors. So many options on food and the spice is on point. John L our server was attentive, friendly and knowledgeable. Ask for him or Javair!

HOLY GUACAMOLE: We loved our drinks and dinner at Mi Cocina. Each thing we ordered was a culinary delight. Juan took care of our group of 8 in the bar area and he was on top of things. Nothing is too spicy like some Tex Mex spots that hide their inability to create good food by making everything so spicy that one isn’t sure if it’s good or not. We didn’t mention it to Juan if service got slow at points but he would make up for it by bringing free drinks and being so fun to be around. They aren’t losing a star on service because Juan made up for it without mention and it was so very obvious that any delay is the result of the labor shortage and not ability. Prices are great and so is the location. Why ever leave Southlake!? Get the Guac!

Came here for lunch on a Friday and had a great meal. From the hostess attentiveness to the waiter often checking if we needed anything it was a great experience. The menu offers a wide variety of options for anyone. Would come back here again.

We visited around lunch time on a Saturday and everything was fantastic, the poblano chicken enchiladas are amazing! Our server was friendly and attentive. The restaurant itself was well laid out and relaxing. We very much enjoyed our visit. Give them a try, you won't be disappointed!

Excellent dining experience. We were greeted with a friendly welcome. We were seated quickly. The staff was very conscientious about our dining needs. We started with a Blanco Queso and chips. The main course that I enjoyed was Shrimp Brochette. This was a delicious item combined with a tasty bean soup on the side.

I wish we were local! The food was absolutely delicious. Chicken enchiladas with poblano crème was amazing. And the breakfast brisket quesadilla was the best! So much flavor and everything was fresh and hot. John L. was and outstanding server and catered our every need, including my particular allergies. Great place and we will be back!!

As we got seated me and my family were greeted with great service. The restaurant had an interesting layout to which i enjoyed, especially with 2 floors of seating i thought it was nice overall. Some meals were better than others but overall i reccomend the beef fajitas. Some things were over seasoned while others were not seasoned enough. We enjoyed but for the price compared to portion we will see about coming again.

I had the Gina’s platter which is basically 3 tortillas with a little cheese, guacamole , and salad on them. Not really worth the $ but tasted good. The Mambo #5 margarita packs a punch. Good experience overall.

Me and my friends we went to Mi Cocina for the first time and we all had a wonderful time. We were greeted by hector ( our server ) who was so amazing he made sure to explain us the menu and what he thought we would love and he did recommend us amazing dishes wish we all loved. We all were greeted by the restaurant manager ( Gustavo ) it felt nice to have such a warm welcome from the staff. The food was amazing just mouthwatering and I can’t wait to come back with my family. Thank you soo much for the wonderful service hector hope you will serve me and my family next time. Sorry not really good. The food taste bland and the salsa taste like tomato sauce, but the outdoor seating is nice.

First time in Southlake area, my friend and I were hungry and decided to eat at Mi Cocina. The absolute best!! Our serve Cassandra was so sweet and kind. She answered all my questions I had. She made sure I felt welcome and comfortable. Vanessa occasionally checked on us and she was very helpful as well. Food was fresh and very good! Overall Vanessa and Cassandra customer service was spot on, they both went above and beyond.

The food was great! Very good and kind service. Nice place with calm colors. Music was just loud enough but not too loud. Temperature was really nice and I didn't need a long sweater at all. The place was clean and quite. Very pleasant experience. Difinately one of the best mexican food restaurants out there. Very reccomend.

Honestly would have given it a 2.5 cause it was wasn't bad, but less than ok. The place is very nice, but the food was just not so good for me. Also sitting at their couch for 30 minutes made my back feel terrible. I didn't like the way my plate looked but other plates looked fine so overall this place is OK, but not more than that. I've had better.

First time customers at this restaurant and we were not very impressed. The waiter forgot to take our order and we had to flag down another waiter. The chips and salsa were not that great. We're used to thin chips and mild salsa and these were just the opposite. The food was overpriced (Southlake pricing). My wife ordered bacon wrapped shrimp and the bacon was not cooked all the way. When the bacon is not cooked it tastes like rubber. The jalapeno was not wrapped in with the shrimp. There's too many Mexican restaurants to eat at and we won't be back to this one. Blue Goose and Cristina's are our go to spots for great Mexican food.

Food was great. However, our waiter never made us aware of being short staffed. We had to wait while seated outside in the patio, over 40 minutes for our food. After a while, there wasn’t that many people there & we had to try and catch him to get refills, and check. By that point, we didn’t even want to order dessert. We only knew about being short staffed because he was having a conversation with the party behind us. A little notification goes a long way.

This is one of our favorite places! We always try to sit at the bar because Francisco takes such good care of us. We have been coming here for nearly 8 years. The service and the food are always great. There are many long-term employees here, which speaks volumes.

Truly, this place feels like home away from home. The service is so kind and warm. The food always balanced in seasoning and fresh. Our waiter Mateo did an excellent job and it’s such a joy to see Paula, the store director. I’ve been to many Mexican restaurants and I can never find drinks as delicious and high quality as they are at Mi Cocina. I hope the Mi Cocina team has a excellent holiday season. Thank you so much!

I’ve been to Mi Cocina twice, different locations. Both times I was disappointed with the food, just middle of the road, not super hot; nothing I’d return for. Queso was ok not great, got the fajitas last time; they were ok; got the crispy green enchiladas tonight which were better but still not great. Rice and beans were an after thought. Atmosphere is nice, service ok; not great; $200 for 5 of us with a couple drinks, one app, and one dessert.

This is a great Tex-Mex restaurant. The chicken tacos (tacos habana) that I ordered were so well flavored and tasty. The Pasilla Poblano con Hongos was a great option for vegetarians. The serve was friendly and we also ordered skinny margaritas which were good. There are so many dishes on the menu that I’d want to come back here many times to try the other items.

Their choice to not allow Americans to exercise their 2nd Amendment right allows me to choose to not go back. Food is bland anyways compared to a good Mexican restaurant. Service was good, but kinda stuffy like he did want to be there. Could have just been a bad day for him, because the last time we went, at the one in Highland Village, service was impeccable. Over all just ehhh

We love the chips here, the salsa could be hotter. Drinks are fantastic, and lots to choose from. Mi Cocina food is outstanding across the board. Our server was a one-thing-at-a-time kind of guy so he was pretty slow but we were on the patio enjoying a beautiful evening so that was ok. I would eat here again.

Mi Cocina is an all time favorite. It’s always a great experience. I enjoy changing out what I order each time because their food is good no matter what it is! Their staff provides exceptional service and the vibe is good.
