I travel a lot and this was among the worst hotel stays I’ve ever had. I simply cannot believe this is a Marriott Bonvoy property. It’s shameful! The room was very nicely designed and appointed. However … The shower literally flooded the bathroom floor and into the bedroom. Only one of us was able to shower as a result. The TV worked some times and there were some burnt-out lightbulbs. There was so much water under the carpet in the hall that it was buckling. The water in the hot tub was colder than the pool, and the hot tub is one of the main reasons that I chose this hotel. “Maintenance” was “not available.”Although the bar was supposed to be open, it wasn’t, and the “snacks” that were allegedly served from 4:00 to 6:00 nightly did not exist despite the six-foot tall sign promoting them. I got tired of reporting issues to the front desk and felt bad for the woman working it because we were not the only disgruntled guests. The whole thing was a colossal waste of money, especially when the Holiday Inn across the parking lot was very nice and less expensive.

This hotel is great for short stays! The facilities are very modern and the front desk staff was very friendly and the check in and out was very fast. As for the room, we found used eyelashes on the couch and the shower could have been cleaner. However, the sheets were clean and the room smelled nice. The breakfast is very simple: there are a few options like scrambled eggs, sausages, waffles, and cereals. Overall, very good.

Breakfast was good and hotel was clean. Had a small wait for the hotel shuttle. I checked in on the Marriott app and had a mobile key. This does not do too much good here. The lights are controlled by the plastic key in the rooms. Overall a good property I would be happy to stay at.

Nice property right by the airport. I checked in late & requested a shuttle - they advised they come every half hour beginning at 0400. My room which had a standard queen bed was a nice suite. There was a little seating area that also had a desk with a microwave, coffee machine & mini fridge. The bed is clean & soft. The bathroom was split - the toilet was behind a different sliding door to the enclosed shower. There’s a Starbucks right by the property.

I was very disappointed in the room. Both beds had hair on the sheets. And in my opinion the room just wasn't clean. And it was either to hot or to cold in the room. We had to adjust the thermostat multiple times The beds are not comfortable either. You do have a wonderful cleaning staff and front desk personal. All very helpful, polite and would help you with vh anything.

We settled into our room after our flight from Florida. Unfortunately the TV didn't function well which was a real problem. To my surprise the manager took time out to rectify the problem. Thanks manager Markell for giving me and my wife a great stay. The property was also very convenient to whatever you should need. Once again thanks for the experience.

Lakeshya at the front desk was amazing! Super nice. Our room was fine until we saw the shower and the couch cushion. The shower had mold all along the bottom and in some of the upper corners. The glass door wasn't sealed well enough and water would leak on to the floor. The couch cushion had a rip from corner to corner. Something that should easily be replaced. Due to cost and proximity to the airport we would stay here again for only a night.

Have to say that Luz who checked us in was super helpful and attentive. Left a good impression with everyone in my party. The room we had was clean and nice. Bed was comfortable.

This hotel stay has helped me decide I may never stay at a hotel again. The room wasn't clean, Couch was dirty, bathroom not clean, mold and a large crack above the shower on ceiling. The air conditioner didn't work so we heard every single noise. The people staying there were loud, smoking pot, kids running the hall, screaming until almost midnight, Called in 2 noise complaints, a group of people partying outside with their base in their cars turned up around 11pm. Had to get up at 6:30 with a young child who didn't sleep well. I know it's not the hotel's fault that people are Inconsiderate of other people, that's just the way society is now, but we were on the first floor, near lobby, they knew what was going on and didn't address it properly.

Very friendly and accommodating staff! Room was spacious and comfortable. Continental breakfast was ok - not the best, not the worst. Close to the airport but still quiet. Walkable to a few restaurants. Would definitely stay here again.

Very close to DTW. The hotel provides an airport shuttle. The rooms were clean and were kept up. The bed was comfortable. The front desk staff were very helpful even suggesting a nearby restaurant which was also very good. There was a good sized workout room and a pool with a hot tub. We stayed the night before our flight and were very pleased with the accommodations.

Stayed 1 night to catch an early flight ,room was amazing and 👌. Front desk was rude and not helpful, food in lobby highly over priced and they do not have prices listed on snacks so it was 10.00 for 2 small Mac n cheese kraft cups and a bag of fruit snacks. Not impressed at all .

Definitely recommend this hotel. Very nice, especially for 3* property. Clean, stylish, very friendly staff, easy parking, really good breakfast, and close to DTW.

Hotel was great. Same detail as other Springhill Suites however with this one the shower part was separated from the restroom part. Still very spacious. Great breakfast options. Great hotel cleanliness.

Nicely updated large room, with a useful desk with ample outlets. Outlets are accessible on both sides of the bed also. Comfortable king size bed. No luggage racks but other hard surfaces available to keep luggage off the floor and upholstered surfaces.

First room was filthy. Of course new room was given not an apology. Second room had mold in shower & couch was ripped & had stains. Pool area disgusting. Hot tub had brown & black foam. Advertises free breakfast buffet not true they had breakfast sandwiches that you would get from gas station. You could smell smoke throughout building & it wasn’t cigarette smoke. Not family friendly. Staff was pleasant Wouldn’t recommend & I’m in hospitality industry.

Had some airport shenanigans and got a choice of hotels to stay at, chose this one. Hotel is nice, but the effort to actually leave a review is due to one of the main managers, DeJuan. The night was very frustrating and he helped make it better by being a good human is all, so 5 stars and I recommend staying here.

To most, this may seem like a silly review as I have not actually stayed at this hotel, so I have literally no input about that particular aspect of this place. I found myself here recently, for a job interview (not for working here though). A lot of local businesses will use hotels like this as meeting places for potential clients or employees (especially companies that work out of the airport or the surrounding areas). This place has conference rooms, so it makes job related activities like this very easy and streamlined. If you're not familiar with the area, due to the close proximity to Metro Airport, things are very, VERY busy around here. There are tons of parking lots, hotels, restaurants, and pretty much everything else you'd find in a busy city area that is near an airport. With that being said, I had zero problem finding a parking spot here when I visited. There are multiple hotels that sit close to one another and they share parking so, I don't really think parking will be an issue here, unless maybe it was a holiday or something and it was considerably busier than normal. When you walk in, you'll notice that things are very new/modern looking, and clean. There is ample seating in the lobby area, and should you have any questions about anything, finding someone at the front desk to help you is quite easy. There is also a little "pantry" area near the front desk where you can buy overpriced snacks and other essential items you might be running low on. Perhaps one of the favorite parts of a hotel for many, this hotel also has a bar area that is in the downstairs lobby area. This part I was unable to partake in, as I was here for a job interview, and the bar was actually closed at the time. What I can tell you is that it's nothing special looking, quite small, but seemingly fine for this type of an establishment. When all is said and done, based upon what little I did here, I would have no problem staying here for a few days/nights if I needed to. All of the employees I had contact with were very friendly and helpful, and like I said it seemed very well maintained and clean. So I would have to assume the cleanliness pertains to the actual hotel rooms as well (though I have no actual proof). Safe travels everyone! Cheers!

We stayed here on our vacation to the Henry Ford Museum. Overall it was a nice stay except one thing...We were put in the room directly above the overhang to the entrance. Music with a pretty strong repetitive beat was pumped out of a speaker on top of the overhang all day and all night. It was like trying to sleep through a techno concert. And for what reason? So people can hear music as they walk in the front door? No one needs that. Needless to say, we got very little sleep the entire three nights we were there. We would have changed rooms but we were with the people in the adjoining room and they didn't have any other adjoining rooms available. The pool was also very small. My kids were pretty disappointed by the pool size, but they seemed to have a fun time playing in the pool anyway. On the other hand, the rooms were nice and spacious. They were clean. The breakfast was good. The front desk people were nice. It was in a good location to get to the museum. I would stay here again, but I would definitely ask for a room away from the entrance. I highly recommend this hotel shut their music off after 8:00 at night for the poor guests in those rooms above the entrance.

I can’t believe how bad the quality name of Marriott has become so diminished. The rooms were designed elegantly but the rooms have been poorly maintained. Most of the staff seemed cordial but felt like a nuisance to them. Really saddened by the loss of quality to this brand

Stuff broken in the room. Bedding looked dirty. One of the rooms had a leak by the ac and the room smelled like mildew really bad. Had to switch rooms. Service wasn't very good at all. Felt like I was an inconvenience for them when needing things.

First room was dirty. The concierge was nice yet condescending. They overcharged and gave an excuse saying that some credit cards withhold money when paying for rooms. How? I've stayed at several hotels, including this same chain and it has never happened. Complete regret staying here.
