Clean, modern hotel, spacious rooms with comfortable beds and pillows, rooms have mini refrigerator and microwave and the hotel provides a complimentary airport shuttle. There is also a full service restaurant on the premises. However, the $15 all-you-can-eat breakfast buffet doesn't offer customers fresh, made to order eggs nor omelettes, pancakes 🥞 or French toast, which is most odd for a paid, breakfast buffet. Which is most disappointing that all they had were powdered eggs in the buffet.

Wet disappointed with my recent stay. I stay at this hotel every 2-3 months for work and normally never have a problem. This last stay March 21- March 23, I enter the room after 8 hours of travel, to what looks like a clean room. I open up my suitcase and start unloading it in the the provided drawer spaces. As I get to the last drawer to put some of my last items away there are a pair of underwear that do not belong to me. I take a picture of them in the drawer the using a tissue I remove them from the drawer and discard them in the trash, avoiding that drawer for the rest of my stay. I then go down to the front desk and inform them of the event. They offer to switch me rooms however I just unpacked so I declined and I didn’t want to make too big of a deal out of the situation. To make things right they promise to deep clean the room the next day. The next day before leaving the room I tidy up so my items won’t be in the way, I pull the linens off the bed I slept in and pulled the bathroom items I used and put them all together in the corner to make things easier for them to clean the rooms after being gone from 7am until approximately 7pm I came back to a room that hadn’t been touched in the slightest. Everything still where I left it including the items I pulled to make the housekeepers job easier. Considering staying elsewhere after this experience. Really disappointed and disgusted!

I had a very good experience at this hotel specially after my last Hilton Brand hotel I stay at. I received a very pleasant greeting from the front desk and received two complimentary water bottom just being a member. The room was clean and spacious. The only thing I might suggest is better gym equipments but over all experience has been a pleasant and enjoyable one. Specially thanks to their staff.

Really great one night stay near DTW! Free shuttle to and from the airport runs regularly with friendly drivers. Everyone at the front desk was very nice, Mackenzie in particular was very helpful! The lobby and room were clean and refreshed with a modern feel.

Had to ask for room service over and over. The concierge desk was fine, but getting an actual maid to come to the room was like asking for a human sacrifice. It was brutal. Over and over, they would skip my room even though I would request service the day before, or even the same morning as I was leaving the hotel for the day.

I stayed at this hotel for a night prior to flying home from a business trip. The team was kind, friendly and helpful at every turn. My room was pristine. I asked for an extra blanket and it was delivered quickly. The room service was quick and yummy. I will stay here again!

Our stay was very good and the location is convenient to DTW. The staff was super nice and the room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. Laundry was $2.50 to wash and dry and the machines were clean. Definitely coming back here next time. Much better than the Westin at the airport!!

This is a really nice hotel with great staff. Given its close proximity to the airport, I expected it to be noisy with the planes flying overhead, but it wasn't. My king-bed room was very clean, and the bed was so comfortable. I had breakfast and dinner at the on-site restaurant, and the food tasted great. I had sweet chili wings and fries one night, and they were better than my favorite wing spot back home. Last but not least, every staff member that I came in contact with was professional, friendly, and courteous.

Spent a night at the hotel since I had a flight to catch on 7am next morning. The room is pretty clean and a lot of space. I arrived there in the evening so we don’t have much experience with the service there. The shuttle to the airport is 24 hours available and super convenient, around 5 minutes to the terminal. The only annoying thing about the hotel is the AC in the room. It is Christmas time so is pretty cold if you don’t turn on the AC. But the AC is super load and frequently goes on and off, which makes me really hard to get asleep. I don’t have the greatest night there, and I have an early flight so it’s kinda struggling. I would recommend the stuff to replace the ACs since they look very old and and are really loud.

Absolutely horrible experience, was charged for my room when I made my reservation on 9/30 and then charged again for my room after my stay on 10/16. Hotel claims to have zero record of my prepayment with reservation and has yet to offer any sort of solution. Will never be staying with a Hilton branded property till they make this right.

Our organization had a retreat at Hilton Garden Inn over the weekend and the level of service was exceptional. The rooms were clean and the staff was friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend Hilton Garden Inn for a family or business event.

We have stayed there a few times and it was a great hotel . The location was important to us as we had a very early flight out of Detroit Metro the next morning. Shuttle service was quick and convenient.

I'm a diamond member and they wanted $15 for a weak continental breakfast. Then if you want an omelette, another $15. I paid $37 for breakfast. This was the first at any of the Hilton's. They were also tight on giving the 15 cent purified waters. Never again.

As a Hilton diamond member of over 20 years this was by far my worst experience at a Hilton or any other brand hotel. Ended up not sleeping 1 minute all night and ended our stay. Loud blaring music (with pumping bass) all night in the adjacent room and no one did anything about it despite complaints. Horrible customer service.

Came here on a tour. Love the hotel. Great staff, rooms are very nice, food is very good. Have nit tried the pool, but it's clean, clear...but a bit small. I'll take a clear clean small pool any day. Will stay here again if needed.

Very good hotel in proximity to the airport. Not too overcrowded, Spa is nice, breakfast is good. Bravo to Alex, who was handling the breakfast area, for an outstanding service despite a busy breakfast place!

About as bare bones as it could be and still be a Hilton. There wasn't even a pen and pad of paper in our room. $15 for what would be a nice continental breakfast elsewhere. Reg coffee dispenser in lobby had no coffee and they were out of cream. Room was clean, but didn't have a desk for working. Not horrible, but will never stay here again.

Breakfast buffet was torn down and empty at 845am and priced at $15. You loose but the staff gets to leave. As Honors member I am dissappointed. Mattress was way too firm for me. May want to use other local hotels in area for park and fly.

This place is awesome. I'm from Michigan but my family from out of town stayed here. We had a surprise bday party for my mom. Staff was amazing and so was the cater food. And the lobby food was great. This place made us very welcoming and will recommend!! Special shout out to the hotel manager you know who I are 😊♥️

The room was okay, had a funny smell when you first walk in but the room was big and seemed clean, same with the bathroom. There was no wifi reception in my room (203). Here’s the worst part: I called ahead twice to make sure I would get a late check-out. Confirmed again when checking in. The day of checking out, we come back to the room and it’s all stripped by housekeeping. Turns out the girl who checked us in didn’t inform housekeeping. For how expensive one night’s stay this was, the experience was less than satisfactory. Update (7/19) - spoke to Jon from this Hilton location, sounded like he was the manager. He was very apologetic about the whole thing and wanted to compensate for our not-so-great experience without me asking. Never received the gift certificate I was promised, reached back out asking about any updates still nothing. It seems like they’re all talk about making things better.

Every single employee I dealt with was friendly and helpful. Rooms are very nicely done and immaculate upon arrival. Restaurant food is good and prices are relatively decent despite being so close to the airport. Walking distance to a Bobs big boy, McDonald's and a couple other restaurants. Free hotel shuttle to airport. Shuttle drivers are great.

Accommodating, professional and friendly staff made this trip the best! The restraunt / lounge staff are especially nice and made friends with a few. Awesome chef Delicious small menu. Although bar is small was told updated larger bar is to replace soon. Looking forward to revisit

The staff was really nice, there’s construction going on in front but they set up a back entrance. That’s all fine. What wasn’t fine was the cleanliness of my room. To start when I went to lay down I noticed my pillows had blood on them, not like a stain that didn’t come out, but it was thick blood clot looking. Then I went to take a shower and there was someone else’s hair in there. They brought me new pillows, but house keeping didn’t even bother to put the pillow cases on, just tossed pillows and cases on my bed while I was out to dinner.

Convenient location next to the airport with great shuttle service to and from the airport and to and from the Qwik Park. If you purchase a stay and fly room, the parking is included which is awesome for long trips. Staff is awesome. Rooms are clean and the bathroom amenities are of great quality. Highly recommend staying here.

Checked in for a short layover before an early morning departure following day. Kathie at the front desk was the most hospitable human on the face of the plant. The kindest of soles in a beast of a city. Gives me hope for humanity. The hotel was great too.

I booked a group reservation at this property and as a Hhonors Diamond Member & HGV owner, I was left very underwhelmed. To keep it short and sweet, multiple rooms had stains the floors or were not clean upon arrival. The front desk staff didn't understand Hiltons new food & beverage credit for gold & diamond members. There were a fair share of bugs around the front desk, elevators and in and around the pool. Also.. if you are playing a children's card game in the middle of the afternoon in the restaurant/lobby area, you will be asked to stop playing or leave. The bright spot for this property was the Food & Beverage Manager Keshia, she embodied everything an owner would strive for from its employees.

Hilton charged me $50 per night at each if my 4 stays last week without making it clear when I made the reservation nor at check in. I am an Honors member...not acceptable. This action caused my stay out of town to be a nightmare causing a financial hardship during and after. I was overcharged $461 and was not reimbursed. Instead I received excuses which are monuments of nothing that lead to nowhere. Not only should I be reimbursed but I should be compensated for the inconvenience. In addition, the lobby area was hot in the middle of a pandemic where people were gather in the lobby with no masks. I found it to be astonishing that the air seem to be working after the family event. For a top rated hotel under no circumstances is this acceptable. I'm still awaiting a response..........

First let me say my room was exceptionally clean; which was a relief! I was actually able to sleep peacefully. The staff have great customer service, and the restaurant has a nice variety of savory food options.

Not sure why I see so many reviews saying the rooms aren’t clean, maybe the hotel has improved over the years? I travel for work and stay at many airport hotels in the area and this is my favorite when I want to spend a little extra money on one. Every time I’ve stayed the rooms feel bright, clean, comfy, and visually appealing. The rooms feel new. The front desk staff 9 times out of 10 are so kind!! There’s an airport shuttle, pool, coin operated laundry, and if you are a Hilton honors member you can use your points to get a free breakfast which is not just a grab and go breakfast but sit down with a waiter/waitress. They make omelettes etc. it’s also walking distance from the few sit down restaurants that are actually in the area (Beirut, Leonardo’s, etc) I really enjoy staying here!

We stayed the night and were traveling for pleasure. We selected the hotel since it is only a few miles from Detroit Metropolitan Airport. Getting to the airport was super easy and convenient. It was a stress-free way to start our trip to Las Vegas. The price was affordable and worth the money. The room was nice and clean. We liked the layout of the rooms. The bathroom was a decent size as well but no bathtub. We enjoyed dining in at the small restaurant inside the hotel. We considered dining out but the kind staff convinced us to stay in. Glad we did. The menu was limited but met our needs. The full bar was appreciated and we could unwind without driving elsewhere. The hotel lobby offered several seating areas and spaces to relax or watch television. We are returning again this week as we are heading to our next vacation.

I only met some coworkers here, but it looked very nice. Clean and bright lobby. Glanced in and saw a well-appointed gym. The ground floor restroom was spotless! Extremely convenient to DTW. Within very reasonable proximity to dining options. My coworkers who stayed here loved it. They raved about the dine in meals and the amenities.

Everything was pleasant and great! Cathy at the front desk got a shuttle to quickly get me from the airport. Driver was kind and great. Which was awesome as I’d just arrived traveling from Morocco, Africa. The room was clean and nice. Food was within walking distance and available downstairs in the hotel as well. I slept well during my brief stay. Checkout was quick and smooth. Shuttle driver to the airport was kind and great. Overall a great quick overnight stay. I would highly recommend.

It's great place to stay at. You can get ride from airport and back. Front desk, house keepers, and drivers awesome. But I wish they had or could make it more better for those who travel for work. At least refrigerator (with enough space) and cook countertop or sink.

Got to the airport early and needed a room. This was perfect. Luckily had a half hour before the bar/restaurant closed. They had a red beer on tap which was really good. The grilled chicked was good too. Very tasty. I even ate the dinner fries. Toom was spacious and quite clean. And a huge TV.

Rooms are good, pool is nice. Breakfast is way overpriced, you get free continental breakfast everywhere else that is better. $15 for a buffet, or $9 for a half decent Belgian waffle. Not worth staying at if they can't finish out the whole experience.

Simply a wonderful day the staff was great. The rooms were clean the breakfast was hot and fresh. I have no complaints.

The customer service was great, free water bottles and fruit water near the front desk. The staff was very helpful and nice. The rooms were a bit outdated. It’s like they only replaced what absolutely needed to be replaced to make the room look more modern. The elevator was old and took a while for it to come. I really disliked the color of the box springs, like a bright teal, like where did they find these? I definitely searched for bed bugs, and there weren’t any. The breakfast was $15 for bacon, eggs, sausage, and hash brown unlimited. Plus the fruit and juice. $15 wasn’t bad for unlimited but I would have rather they had more of a variety for the price. You can also order from a menu. Didn’t like the pancakes. I loved the convenience of using the Hilton app where I could use my phone to open the room doors because I had 2 rooms and couldn’t tell the difference between keys. Overall the hotel was decent, I have seen better hiltons but this is good for a short term stay.
