This place is amazing! All the staff members work hard from the housekeeping paying attention to detail, fresh & hot breakfast daily with a pancake machine, to the clean workout room. I loved how all the front desk staff smile & keep a professional demeanor every time you speak with them. Extra towels-no problem! Extra toiletries-no problem! King Suite is worth the money, if you ask me! Loved the jetted bathtub in my room ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. I was hating to come back to my home because I really enjoyed my days here. See ya!

We went for my niece's birthday because we planned a trip to SkyZone which is down the street. We didn't know how the conditions were going to be on the road because usually it snows during Thanksgiving here, so that's why we got a room. Before arriving, I was told that I could hold the room on a card, but pay in cash. When checking in, I was told different. The front desk clerk was very snobby towards us. She said that our rooms weren't ready, & they wouldn't be near each other. After booking the room, I called the hotel & asked for our rooms to be near each other & was told that they would be. Then was told while checking in that we couldn't due to being overbooked. We asked while checking in, could we have a late check out, we were told that we couldn't because they have to get the rooms ready for the people who are coming after us. But how is that possible if when we showed up to check in our rooms weren't even ready?...The 1 room they had ready at the time we all went to, I booked 3 rooms.. they finally gave us the 2nd room, then the 3rd. When we got the 3rd room, the heat wasn't working. Then we were told we'd have to wait because there wasn't any other rooms available, saying they were all sold out. All of this was told by one individual. When her "shift" was over, the staff after her were more accommodating. They helped us get another room, helped with the late check out & apologized for any inconvenience that occurred. The pool area bathroom had ants really bad. We informed the front desk agent. The breakfast staff was rude. When saying excuse me to the lady she kept walking past as if she didn't hear me, when she was right next to me. Food wasn't being refreshed, & it was like after seeing us come downstairs, she started to close the breakfast area up quickly. Just a horrible experience all in all. Never again.

We booked the honeymoon/wedding suite for our wedding night along with block booking for our out of town guests. I think the hotel and location worked out well for all of our guests, and the honeymoon/wedding suite was amazing. It was very spacious with a couch and jacuzzi and pretty decent view considering the area it is located. The had a welcome sign in the lobby for us, which was so sweet! Our room had cute, fake flower petals all over it, as well as a vase of real flowers and a card. We were very impressed. Coordinating everything with Debbie through email and phone was easy as pie! We would definitely recommend anyone getting married in the area to consider this hotel!

We do a lot of traveling for hockey and this holiday Inn was no where near the ratings its been given by others. We've had families in our group who had to deal with plumbing issues on their own. Clearly the one end of the hotel had issues. You were given a sink plunger not an actual toilet plunger to unclog whatever issues were causing the problem. The reception team didn't even have someone on hand to deal with these issues. You were the plumber that day. It happened to a couple of our families. You were treated rudely when asking for help, you were denied any assistance from the staff. No compensation was given to these families that had problems. When time to check out, their bill wasn't compensated and on top of that incorrect billing was charged for a two bed rather then the single bed. The staff hang up on you when asking about the charges and to have them corrected. Even headquarters won't do anything. It's terrible this is how far down the ladder this chain has fallen where customer service is no longer a thing. The only nice thing at this location was a staff member named Joslyn who worked the desk Thursday evening when I checked in. Very friendly, and courteous. It's a shame she's working at this location for

Friendly staff and nice clean rooms. The staff make you feel at home. The breakfast bar is great. Enjoyed watching the squirrels and trees out the windows on the patio. Loved the complimentary Wednesday hospitality dinners. The pool was very inviting and workout room had all the basics you would want for your stay. Conviently located near the interstate.

My husband had to be in Canton for work, so he booked us into the Holiday Inn Canton. I was thoroughly impressed. They run breakfast everyday from 6am to 10am, and it had a lot more choices than other free breakfasts that I’ve had in the States. There was an abundance of breads - bagels, sliced bread, English muffins. Hot eggs and sausages, 3 kinds of yogurt, 3 kinds of cereal, and 3 kinds of juice. They also had cinnamon rolls that were quite good. Coffee was solid as well. The room was very clean and very big. WiFi was solid the entire trip, which was very much appreciated since I was working from the hotel. Bed was firm and pillows weren’t the best, but serviceable. Staff were all very nice. Honestly, no complaints and I would not hesitate to stay here again when we’re in Michigan.

Least enjoyable hotel stay I have had in some time. ZERO attention to detail by the cleaning staff (see pics). TV remote didn't work and they did not have a working spare. Room smelled as if it had been smoked in (or worse) and air freshener used to cover up. Location a bit sketchy too. (Cameras in halls and TV bolted down in room). Bfast average at best. Much nicer available at similar rates nearby.

Very old and run down, bugs on the wall in the room. Room was filthy, we would have better off sleeping on the floor at the airport. Booked threw web site was bill twice the amount on my card. I would not recommend staying there, can’t believe holiday inn would even put there name on this place.

It is a small hotel of a small town with ample parking spaces. We really like its complimentary continental breakfast, room sizes are Okay. Level of cleanliness is reasonable. I have a few suggestions for improvement: 1- Add a waffle maker to the dining room though they have a pancake maker. 2- Add a shower to the restroom next to the swimming pool. 3- improve cleanliness of the restroom next to the swimming pool. 4- keys to the room were being deactivated almost daily. It was a hassle to keep getting these reactivated several times in our two-night stay. Over-all a pleasant and comfortable stay.

This hotel is amazing! The staff is great. Easy to talk to and friendly. The sheets are so soft! Breakfast is soooo good the bacon smell wakes you up. They have a pool and hot tub! Quiet ducked off safe location! Nice getaway from home!

We had a hot tub suite and it was very clean, the card said Alexis cleaned the room. Decor is a bit outdated but nice pool and the breakfast ladies were amazing! The squirrel that hangs out on the patio area is just too cute! It's like their Holiday Inn Express mascot 🐿️ Overall we had a good experience.

Hotel was very nice and clean. Location was very convenient for us. We were able to take a ride share after settling in to the nearby shopping area as well. Would definitely stay here again!!

We made this reservation for a 5-day stay 6 to 7 months in advance. We came to Michigan from Atlanta Georgia to celebrate my mother-in-law 87th birthday. I'm going to start with the good experience first. the breakfast The complimentary breakfast was recycled daily. When checking it to our room I asked to switch rooms because the first one was outdated it wasn't clean stains on the carpet stains on the bed the andtoilet was broken. We was moved to another room and it wasn't better the toilet was outdated the bed had hair on the pillows there is mold in the showers the air conditioner is leaking and there's a gaping hole from the wall and between the air conditioner where you can see outside. under the AC unit there is standing soaking water from where we do not know. The TV do not have cable and there's things on the carpet. The refrigerator in our room did not work and the one that they brought us the new the replacement one did not work better. The guest elevator is not clean there has been candy wrappers on the elevator since we first checked in. There is an overwhelming smell of cigarette smoke throughout the hotel. This hotel experience is awful I would never stay here again I am very disappointed I'm not happy at all with this hotel I would never return and if you're looking for a hotel I will advise you to look somewhere else. Debbie from housekeeping and Eric from the front desk are truly awesome workers.

Hotel could use new carpets and a bit of updating but the room was large and clean, bed comfortable and very quiet. Above average breakfast and the woman staffing the breakfast area was really on top of things. Nice outdoor area in the back. Good value.

Great place to stay if you're working in the area. If you're vacationing in Canton, MI, why would you do such a thing? Rooms are consistently clean and the staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast is the standard Holiday Inn breakfast which is good enough, although it's hit or miss depending on who's working in the kitchen that day. Gym is small and rusty, but functional. Pool is clean and relativity well maintained. Prices are decent, at least compared to other places in the area.

Great Hotel! Amazing breakfast! On Wednesdays, the owner of this hotel shows his appreciation to guests by having free deli sandwiches, chips and cookies for dinner. Which I thought was a very nice gesture. A lot of guests during the week are workers, so it was nice to help get through the middle of the week. I only gave 4 stars for location because the surrounding neighbors have over grown grass.

I was honestly surprised how many people commented on the cleanliness. I thought the pool was disgusting, the rooms were “ok” but dated nonetheless. Front desk woman as we came in was sweet, then at the shift change we had a lady who was snippy about us getting more towels. Sorry we had to take extra showers after that bleach pool before we went to dinner! Overall not horrible. Lots of kids and families as to be expected with a pool. We stayed on 3rd floor - very quiet. 2nd floor was so loud you could hear it as you rode past on the elevator. Got lucky there! I’d say it’s worth a 3 star review. Not awful, not amazing, but we paid $106… you get what you pay for i guess!
