I was not informed that the meats came with rice and egg rolls so I ordered way too much extra. The egg rolls were undercooked and mostly filled with bean sprouts. The duck sauce tastes like mostly vinegar. The lo mein was completely sauce-less and flavorless. The almond sauce for the almond chicken is neon yellow and tastes like chicken gravy. Their crab rangoons and steamed dumplings were satisfactory. Their food does not look like the pictures and it should not be served to people.

MENU PIC! I’ve returned, for another Stella review. Got the sesame and general Tao chicken combos. You get rice, egg roll (mostly filled with bean sprouts). We absolutely love the chicken, lightly breaded and maintains a crisp!! Very filling with great portion. Wish the general Tao was actually spicy though, but still good. Friendly staff. $28.00 for the two combos so me menu prices have gone up. I’ll be back though!

Best sesame chicken and steamed dumplings I've ever had. We only go here, and it's FANTASTIC. Big portions, always done in a timely fashion. My only complaint is that sometimes you get that not-so-good day where the chicken is dry and the oil needs to be changed. It doesn't happen often, but it's a bummer when it does. Can't wait for them to reopen!! Update - Unfortunately this place has really gone downhill. The past 4 or 5 times we got Ten Yen it was not good. The quality has been slowly decreasing, and above when I said you sometimes get that "not so good" day, that was turning into every time. The last time I had bites of chicken that I had to spit out and unfortunately after years of this being our #1 go-to carryout we started going elsewhere.

The food was good but Certainly overpriced. I think 3 chicken combos for takeout should Not be $47.00!! They also forgot one of my egg rolls and there was definitely not enough Rice.

I gave you guys a compliment on service in person and the guy said “we make food fresh and our chicken real too!”😭 it definitely made my night, I can tell it’s real chicken. I eat here very often the food is always delicious.

My family and I have been going to this restaurant for years. The food is always good, and the staff are very friendly. I have never had any mistakes on my orders also. Very delicious!

Finally found a place that actually made the food spicy when I asked for it! Ordered the general tso’s chicken extra spicy, crab Rangoon and spring rolls. 1 meal was enough to feed 2 adults and a toddler. Crab rangoon and both spring rolls and eggs rolls were excellent. General tso’s chicken was cooked well, stayed crispy in the sauce and the sauce had a unique flavor and had a perfect spice with a hint of fresh pepper. My only complaint is I found the rice to be very flavorless. That’s the only thing stopping me from giving it 5 stars. Also would like to add the staff was amazing. Father and son (I’m assuming) were very personable and seemed to have a good routine. There was a line out the door when I got there and they had food consistently moving out.

I don't normally post negative reviews, but I was very disappointed with the Shrimp Lo Mein I ordered last night. It wasn't even Lo Mein, but instead it was angel hair pasta with no flavor. Definitely false advertising.

Have eaten there for years and enjoyed very much. Last time food was spoiled or contaminated. Tasted so horrible, putrid, , I quickly threw away, but became ill any way. Will never eat here again. In fact, this experine has put me off chinese food forever. Would never eat Cinese again even if I were starving. Probably would vomit if I ever even smell it again and Lord I hope I don't.

My son brought home your almond chicken tonight and it was the BEST I have had in 30 years!!! I live in Brighton but I will drive there to get your food. Thank you soooo much. I never thought I would ever get great Almond Chicken ever again. The egg rolls and fried rice were great also. The bread was my desert!!!! THANK YOU!!!!!

Your standard Chinese menu but with HUGE portions of pretty good food. The egg fu young patties are thick and tasty. Came out fast and was fresh. Unfortunately they don't have sit in dining anymore though, bummer.

The best Chinese food, I've had in a long time, the boneless almond chicken was awesome. Kind and friendly service as well as the prices are reasonable for the amount of food you receive.

Ordered sesame chicken dinner with shrimp fried rice on Christmas Day. It was a wait, as expected. Food was dee-lish. Dinner roll wasn't as fresh, but I was happy overall! Won-ton soup was good as well. Looking at other reviews, I guess there are hit or miss days like most eateries these days. Lots of folk were waiting on their Christmas dinner at this place, so I knew I would be in for a treat! 😋

The quality of chicken is far better than any other Chinese restaurant around! We love it every time!

They’ve renovated within the past few years and the resistant looks great. Service is fast and friendly, and the portions are large. My favorites are the crab Rangoon, lemon chicken and sesame chicken. There’s a cooler in front to choose pop from as well.

When you've been eating from the same Chinese Restaurant for over 30 years, what's left to say? There are reasons why my family only orders from here for their Chinese and the big ones are: Prices are reasonable, food is consistent and delicious everytime (no exceptions) and the biggest one in my opinion. I have NEVER got food poisoning or got sick from eating here in 30 years from being a child to an adult. I literally can't say that about any other restaurant I've ever eaten at locally for the same length of time. Family owned and operated, great food. Can't recommend enough.

The food here is amazing but the one woman who works here is so rude. I had to repeat my order like 10 times, she read it back to me wrong and when I corrected her she said “ok 15-20 minutes” and hung up. So I guess I won’t be getting my food but everyone else will. Super rude and disappointing because we go here all the time and they do have great food.

Order from Ten yen every few weeks and the almond chicken is very good. The only thing I didn’t like was the egg roll since it’s a bit chewy everytime I get one but other then that I would definitely recommend the almond chicken and a side of French fries. Is always good everytime

Starting to remember why I stopped ordering from here. My family ordered from here and I got general Taos with sauce on the side. They were not able to do it….. They use to before the pandemic you would just get the “old style” sauce, why they can’t now is beyond me, and makes no sense. The sauce is too sweet, and the chicken is soggy due to the sauce coating the chicken. Golden chopstick is way better, and they are at least nice. Threw out whatever was left over.

Ten Yen is typically really delicious Chinese food, but consistency is lacking. I recently ordered food there and the cook quality of the chicken was tough and the breading was extra thick, undercooked and falling off the chicken. I drive 30 minutes past Chinese food restaurants in my own area just to come here because it is usually great food. Hopefully it was just an off Friday for them. I will try it again in a couple weeks or so. I gave 3 stars for atmosphere because it used to have dine in services for patrons before Covid, and it seems as if they have no intention of offering dine in services again, not sure though.
