AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!! During the recent power outage on 7/26 we booked a room at this hotel for one night because all the hotels in the area were booked or way out of our price range. The rate for the night was a little over $100 for a double room. We get there and the room was gross, there were stains all over the ceilings and mold in the bathroom there was also a dead bug on the nightstand!! My husband immediately went back to the front desk to request a refund. While waiting in line there were at least 6 other people also seeking a refund because their rooms were also filthy. After turning in the key the front desk person told my husband that she was cancelling the transaction, but since he went through a 3rd party booking site, he had to contact that number and they would confirm with the hotel that he did not stay and we would get a refund. After going back and forth between the reservation line and hotel staff we were told a case was opened and we should hear something the next day. Here it is a week later and no refund. I am about to contact the state attorney General because they are holding my money hostage. NEVER AGAIN

I'm fumigating my luggage. I booked without looking at the reviews. Traveling for business, I checked in late for a place to crash. Upon seeing two rooms (yep, I gave a second chance) I left. Bed bugs, molding shower, broken furniture, crusty things stuck to sheets... nope. The front desk was really nice, but the hotel is a dump. Unless you already have bed bugs... avoid this place. 🤣

Came all the way from California for a family members funeral & this place is absolutely disgusting & scary. I don’t understand how this place is still operating. There was black mold all over the bathroom walls & shower area. Filthy! Tiny nats were flying around the ceiling which I didn’t notice till night time. There are no blankets, only 2 thin sheets covering the bed. The sliding door to the balcony is almost impossible to open, it is so heavy, rusted & old! Plus filthy glass!! This motel smelled of weed & cigarette constantly. Along with the mold /dust smell when walking into my room. My room hasn’t been cleaned in quite some time because of how dirty it was. Plus I found a man’s shavings on the counter bathroom sink, disgusting!!!! EVERYTHING was dirty. Do not bring your kids here especially! Also had to reset room keys every morning. They had no solution for that issue. I should’ve took more pictures but I didn’t. This place needs to be redone or demolished

I left my $5000 chain and charm in there and The guy Frank was very calm and very understanding with me !! I was very historical and he quickly came back to the phone and told me he had my chain😁! I’m very grateful for the lady that cleaned the room ( Juliana )and also frank for returning my chain and it’s Christmas so God is very good! I hope God pays it forward for them and me they have given me hope in these very dark times! Please go to quality inn in Livonia Michigan there fantasy suites are great I’ve been coming here for years! Hope this helps anyone who is looking !!

Shown as non smoking but entire place smells like an ashtray. No smoke alarm or sprinkler system in room. Jets to tub don't work(tub was dirty anyway). The bathroom was visibly dirty. One of the two sliding doors in the room wouldn't lock. Tried asking for extra pillows and front desk said they can't help and to wait for housekeeping in the morning. Outside there were several people who live at the hotel doing heroin or some kind of IV drugs in the parking lot. The entire place was a disappointment and won't be coming back.

I went to check in, and the guy at the front desk gave my reservation to someone else. I then had to pay AGAIN for the new room which supposedly had king size beds. The beds were not even a queen. The bath tub was filthy, and so was the sink. There is also a smoke free and tobacco free sign hanging by the front desk, but all down the hallways on the first and second floor you can smell nothing but smoke. This will definitely be my first AND last time staying here!

I have stayed in this hotel several times, it is never cleaned properly on check in and I always have to clean my own room. I just stayed there a few days ago for the last time because the room was not clean again (surprise) the mini fridge quit working and leaked all over the floor the bathroom handle came off in my hand the toilet over flowed and the suite was full of gnats. Due to all of the conditions I just listed I would not suggest for anybody to stay at this hotel until it is updated and has proper staff.

This hotel was suppose to newly renovated but you still see roaches an ants. I was checked into 3 rooms with no remote to the TV an the housekeepers half doing their jobs. Not putting the right linen on the beds an missing the heavy cover. Be really careful staying there because it's not all that clean. This is what I had to deal with on my stay there.

I should be ashamed of myself for not reading the reviews. I saw a couple of decent reviews but it seems like if you are actually looking for a problem you will most definitely find one in your room or with the hotel in general. So here I am giving a honest review. There are stains on the bed, the tv does not work and reading the reviews it has not worked for months, service is mid, dusty and crusty in here on the vents and cracks in the sink that you cannot paint over, limited outlets, cig smoke smell I literally can’t breath it’s super cold during this time & I don’t want to sleep with the patio door open IF I even can. Based on other reviews the patio door is hard to open and crusted shut, not to mention the pictures on the website look nothing in person… I called the front desk and complained and apparently they are offering 10% off so come on down and get your time wasted if you have money to waste. I will see how breakfast is if they even have anything hot in stock or anything at all considering other reviews on display. Seeing other reviews makes me realize this place might need to be investigated and shut down for further evaluation for the exposure to high paying customers for this price. No dignity and respect towards hard working people needing a get away. I am dishearten that my health is on the line tonight. My boyfriend is in town and I just wanted a decent stay some where. We needed a place to stay and we got into the absolute worse situation. Will be talking to the manager tomorrow to establish what needs to be done if they want to see my money again. Needless to say the food shockingly smelled appetizing during check in. Good luck to you all.

Been twice and have had 0 issues. Very polite and it has a full breakfast bar unlike most that have frozen food or grab and go foods. The rooms are clean but I always stay and the 4 person jacuzzi rooms

This place is the most disgusting hotel I’ve ever been. I had to change rooms multiple times. Why did I change rooms? They were dirty had bugs smelled…bed broken honestly I can go on and on about this place. I felt so sick to my stomach all night didn’t even sleep because this place is disgusting. Floors were stained food on floor. The heat didn’t even work. You can feel a decent breeze through the sliding glass. I really don’t care if they are in the middle of a remodel…. You can’t cover up filth with a remodel. They should be shut down. Honestly I rather of slept in the work truck. People loud at night you can tell people are living here. Cold water no hot water?! So glad we switched hotels. You would think they would walk the rooms and make sure it’s clean.

There was a roach in the tub. The heater in room fell apart when I tried to turn it on.Th floors were filthy upon entering the hotel and rooms. The only reason I gave it a 2 is because the customer service was nice. Otherwise I would have gave it a 1👎

At first view, the hotel seemed very good, but after I entered the room, I did not expect the cleanliness to be this bad. Bed bugs and insects are all over the bed. This is absolutely unacceptable. Attached is a video that explains what I mean. I don't recommend it at all.

Well, it's too much writing for this location smh..... Back in February of this year (23) Michigan, experienced several electrical issues due to the winter storms. Anyways, I was out of luck getting a room at the Marriott in Livonia but noticed, they had rooms available at The Quality Inn in Livonia. I booked my reservation online and didn't bother to read the reviews 🙃 what a mistake I made!!! The mattress was lumpy, had an long piece of wood sticking out, no towels that were clean, bathroom floors in the corner was full of dirt, the faucet had was cracked and could've cut me and I had to go to Target to get disinfecting spray to clean the bathroom. I will NEVER GO THERE AGAIN!!!!

Scam, scam, scam. Most bizarre experience I've ever had at any hotel, and I've stayed a lot. Other reviews mentioned screaming customers and altercations, now I know why. After a very long day of many setbacks and a 2:00AM arrival: The man at the front desk pretended not to have my booking and advised me to call the website I booked with. I did, they said it had already been checked in but offered to rebook it. Customer service lady called front desk man, who proceeded to HANG UP on her. He said "she won't give me a confirmation number." After some back and forth he showed me a picture of his screen to prove he could not proceed without the number, where he had misplaced my last name as my first and my middle name as my last. I said as much and he angrily replied, "it doesn't matter!" I insisted he type my name in correctly, so he did so furiously, making a big show of clicking the wrong "search" box on the computer. I asked him if he was clicking the search box under the "name" field and he became increasingly belligerent until he simply refused to speak to me. I'm pretty sure this hotel is running a deliberate scam, because it beggars belief that this man doesn't know how to read a driver's license or search a name, and it sounds like many others have had the same experience. Avoid at all costs.

Unfortunately I would not recommend that anyone stay here. There was an altercation at 3am, police showed up. After things quieted down, someone opened the door to our hotel room. We felt totally unsafe and left. The bathroom tile looked old and filthy, there was a plastic bag over the smoke detector. No one at the front desk when we tried to leave at 4am. Lastly, no refund when we called because we had to leave because someone opened our hotel room door with another key. Major safety concerns.

Place is a complete dump. The only positive thing I can say is that the 2-room suite was a reasonable price and had plenty of room. But other than that, the entire building is filthy dirty. Not to mention, the bathroom sink was completely clogged (we didn't make a big deal of that cause we only stayed one night). The hotel website says "hot breakfast" which is a lie. The only hot item is the waffle maker. They don't even serve juice out of the juice machine; it's just water. Bottom line: this place may be affordable but it's truly not worth it, especially if you're staying more than 1 night. Pay a little extra and stay somewhere else.

I normally am not the type of person to ever complain, even in situations where service is horrible, I always have a smile on my face and tell staff everything is wonderful. Having said that, my experience at this hotel was so beyond special that I felt like I had to share it. From the moment we stepped foot into the premises to the moment we checked out 10 minutes later, our experience was absolutely horrible. At the lobby we were met with screaming and upset customers fighting with hotel staff. Once checked in, we proceeded towards our room with our multiple bags. We asked another staff member if the hotel had an elevator. She did not speak English, she then brought over another employee to help, he also did not speak English. We were unable to locate an elevator and hauled our luggage up the stairs. The moment we stepped onto our floor, we were met with a horrendous stench. It smelled as if someone had released their bowels on the floor and staff had attempted to cover the smell with bleach. Once into our room, the bathroom was disgusting. The toilet seat cover had dried urine. The washroom was not clean at all. Within 2 min of entering the room, we took all our luggage and went down to check out and ask for a refund. We were extremely unsatisfied and were told that we weren't able to receive even a $1 back. At this point, we would have paid a million just to leave. Over the past 20 years, I’ve stayed at many choice hotels and never been to such a disgusting establishment

Amazing customer service, front desk is very friendly and helpful. Their general manager Fred went beyond to make our stay comfortable. Our room was clean and comfy and the hotel was nicely quiet.

Do not stay here ! This place is absolutely disgusted. I made a reservation for the night, back in October. No one was at the front desk and after waiting 20 minutes finally the manager came. When we got to the room there was vomit all in the bathroom sink and the room was not clean. After going down stairs requesting a new room. Got a new room that had black mold all in the bathroom. $80 for this great stay. Weird men outside all hours of the nice. Don’t bring children here that’s forsure

Bad news & better news. Decor is nice & bed & carpet is nice, but the tub look dark dirt. Room 115 had roaches under the refrigerator I seen about 4 under there. Luckily I just checked in the room & I was only there a couple hours. They put me in a better room on the second floor, I didn’t see no roaches in the new room & the bathroom tub was much cleaner than the 1st room. I stayed in the new room for a week did see bugs. I still didnt bring much in the room to be safe.

Everything about my stay. I personally want to speak on the maintenance supervisor I truly believe that I lost my social security card and then low and behold if he didn't find it for me and I thought I looked everywhere but obviously I didn't Thank you to you and your professional job.

I would not stay here unless you have no other option!!! Had a suite and both rooms had bedbugs in it, bathroom had mold in it. Stay at your own risk. I refused to stay and got my money back

I didn't have towels, rooms smelled like bad feet, no coffee in the rooms. Shower curtain disgusting . Had to have cards rekeyed everyday. Mostly people live there.

I booked tonight here several months ago when it was still under old ownership and told myself I would never go back but after finding out that the place has been bought out and is now under new ownership I decided to give it another shot and I do not regret it. From the moment I walked in I could tell everything has been renovated and brand new including the rooms brand new TV brand new bed brand new carpet new paint new lights new mattresses new comforters basically anything you could possibly think of his brand new none of that though was comparable to the great customer service I got from Frank at the counter he cater to every request I had with no hesitation and a smile on his face thank you Frank and thank you too the new owners for making this place my new favorite hotel I will definitely be back and recommend to anyone who has stayed here under old ownership and haven't been back because now it's just a completely different atmosphere!!!

The staff was very friendly and made us feel welcome. But the hotel in general was not clean (besides the breakfast area). Not family friendly because just about everyone there was smoking pot in the rooms (I don't have a problem with pot but at this visit I had 2 small kids with me and it was bad enough that the smoke was in the hallway). The beds were over all comfortable but one of the beds were broke to the point when you went to sit down the whole bed tilted about 6 inches. We had mild on our curtains. The mini coffee maker in the room had molded coffee bags in it. The tvs were small. We had a double room and only had 1 remote for both tvs. This is one of those hotels that mostly everyone there lives there. The pictures online are nice and the lobby looks nice but don't let it fool you.

One room we had, there were people in it. Gave us a new room, lots of stains on bed sheets, water is very cloudy, tv doesn’t work or had no remote/working remote, bathroom door was broken, fan on wall was only ever hot or cold, or off if you turned it off. Would not recommend, smells of pot and cigarettes. Overall not very clean.

Frank was absolutely outstanding in every single way. He was very knowledgeable about renting that the hotel had to offer. Great customer service skills. Definitely would recommend coming here just for this reason! One of the ones who deserves a raise!
