My new favorite spot for coffee! Amazing staff, food, drinks - you name it. Great seating options and you can’t go wrong with any order.

I just love this place! This location specifically. Walking inside is like being transported to the West coast-Seattle, Tacoma, Santa Cruz...just something about the atmosphere and vibe. And I love the outdoor seating. Has been such a relief to still have a great coffee shop to go sit down at during covid. For bag coffee the A-A Cowboy is my favorite. Medium roast and smooth. An Ann Arbor staple you have to visit.

Loved this place! Baristas were so so helpful and the vibe was very much indie coffee shop of my dreams. They have vegan treats and fun coffee options

About as Ann Arbor as it gets, in all the best ways. Always friendly, welcoming staff. My batista last week designed Espresso Royals Ginger Dragon drink. These folks know coffee! Don't miss the breakfast burrito. Absolutely yummy, and well priced for real handmade fresh food.

Such a tasty coffee, perfectly toasted 👌 (their iced latte with oatmeal is great!). The staff is also very nice, so it's a really good place to step in!

One of the best cafes in Ann Arbor. Their roasting is quite subtle and unique, and all the staffs are friendly. Highly recommended!

These folks know coffee! Have some unique brewing - try the Long Pull - and some fresh coffee names like "Lobster Butter Love!" 🦞 They have ALL the best home brew gear and tons of fresh merch. Seating is inside and outside, but not tons of it. If you enjoy specialty coffee, absolutely worth the visit. I'm an Ohio guy, so high praise for this Ann Arbor gem.

Found this place on accident on a trip to Ann Arbor and I wish I found them sooner. Their Lobster Butter Love roast is the best coffee I’ve ever tasted, so we’ve taken to ordering their beans online and having them shipped to Indianapolis for our home brew. These folks know coffee!!

Stop reading the reviews and buy it. Mother Pheasant Plucker is the bomb! Hands down best cup of coffe you can make at home. The coffee is so good. All of it. Honestly, I have not had a cup I did not like. I buy beans and grind fresh at home and run through a drip machine. If there is one thing I expect to be on point, it's my coffee. And this place never disappoints.

This is always our first stop for coffee in Ann Arbor and we order all our beans for home brewing from them. My personal favorite drinks include the Vietnamese iced coffee or hot chocolate cold brew, and I could eat a duh bagel or cheesy p burrito every day. Have always experienced great service as well. When it comes to the beans, we’re partial to the Badass Women Blend but you can’t go wrong with any of them. Love this place!

Awesome coffee. Decent tea. AMAZING potato breakfast burrito especially if you add their Wicked sauce (jalapeño & lime). The Ancho sauce is also good. Cool vibes and awesome crew. They also have cool swag (cute mugs, stickers, shirts, etc) and any coffee making supplies you would beed. I have friends who buy their bulk beans and swear by them for their home coffee needs.

If I could, I’d make Roosroast my Valentine. I have moved around a bit, tried a lot of coffees, and nothing quite compares to Roosroast. Having a local roaster is one thing, having a local roaster with the most amazing dark roasts I’ve ever tasted, is a beautiful wonderful unique thing. Dear Roosroast, I love you.

Worth tracking down. The Rosewood address is well-hidden in a business district leaning industrial, but the location adds to the aesthetic. Outside seating, a generous indoor space for ordering and the best cappuccino I've had in a long time. I also ordered a cherry scone which was the perfect level of sweetness (ie "not too"). My work requires I stay in this area when traveling to Ann Arbor and it's tough to find local shops to spend my money. I will always come back to RoosRoast!

Great coffee with a fun atmosphere. Food and clothing are interesting. Definitely a non-zing coffee shop I recommend trying. Lattes, chai, and Cappuccino are all well done. However the long pull for a single origin or blend made fresh is not for everyone. I would prefer a pullover.

Such a good cup of coffee. The staff is really great, and helpful when you need some direction on what to get (because they have lots of tasty options). The decor is cute, there is a lot of room outdoors to enjoy the weather while sipping your drink. But honestly, hats off to the staff for making this place as amazing as it is.

RoosRoast is where to go if you’re in the know. Great selection of coffee brew types every day, coffee beans, and coffee making stuff for home. Add an awesome staff that works quickly and with a friendly smile, you simply cannot ask for more. Pictured is my cortado with an extra shot (a quadtato)

I have spent many days here this week. The espresso is complexly flavored enough and balanced with the well steamed milk in a latte, that the latte's are rather delightful. The Vietnamese Iced Coffee is also rather pleasant. If you're the kind of person that wishes you owned your own espresso machine, this is the place for you.

Great ambiance, good service, delicious food and coffee, large outdoor seating area, and the inside even has a little arcade table and piano. I loved the artwork on the compostable coffee cup- created by John Roos himself. What made it even better was that this coffee shop has solar panels and the coffee is fair trade. Highly recommend.

The best coffee in Ann Arbor…the best coffee in the country? The world? YES in my opinion. The Lobster Butter Love is a fan favorite and easy go-to but don’t sleep on the other roasts. Mother Pheasant Plucker and an iced americano are also excellent. Great vibes at the Rosewood location and friendly service. A staple in the A2 community.

THE BEST coffee around and maybe across the USA!!! I LOVE Lobster Butter Love the most. But have not had one bad cup from any of their roasts!!!

I went here to get some coffee and a breakfast burrito. and go on my laptop. It's pretty small and they did have a table with a wall plug, but it was just stools, so it wasn't super comfortable for a long period. The food and coffee was good. I also bought a bag of coffee, a half gallon of cold brew, and some protein balls (those were very tasty). I haven't tried the bagged coffee yet, but the cold brew is good. You have to dilute it because it's strong, but that makes it last longer.

Yum! I had Duh Bagel and a couple different coffees. All delicious! Very cute, easy parking (even on game day), love the mission. But wow, so many bees outside. I'm not even afraid of them but there were dozens around me while eating - had to leave the adorable outdoor seating!

I rarely leave google reviews but this place is really is awesome. I first tried their coffee on a whim because of the name (my husband goes by Rooz as an internet nickname and I thought it would be cool with have a bag of beans with his name on it) I’ve been hooked ever since! I live an hour away from the roaster, so I always order online and have it shipped. The delivery is quick and almost always has a cute little note included from the staff which always makes me smile. The Lobster Butter blend is absolutely divine!

I have always loved coming in here! Coffee is always top notch & staff are always so friendly and fun! Can almost always count on a good laugh:) Today I had a very unfortunate experience with a female employee who was extremely short and seemingly very annoyed with me for swinging by to buy a bag of beans at 1:00pm; No one else was even in the shop! Definitely put a damper on my day! Hopeful this isn’t the new Roos norm:(

First coffee shop visiting Ann Arbor. Loved the environment, super friendly staff dancing together with the music. Honey vanilla latte was delicious. Thinking about going back to buy a shirt or bag of their coffee before I leave.

The best-smelling coffee shop I've ever walked into. Coffee itself was delicious and the barista poured lovely latte art into my to-go cup, which is definitely not as easy as it looks! Cozy, vibrant place to stop in for your morning coffee.
