1st time here. Attended Restaurant for Cinco De Mayo. $5 margaritas. I had a Beef Burrito. My partner had Carne Asada. The burrito was out of this world. Black beans was ok. The Mexican rice th best I've ever had. The Carne asada very good. The sopapillas were great. Better than Nee Orleans Benets. Highly recommend this restaurant

We walked in at 8:50 PM, that's important in a little bit. We were greeted and immediately seated at a table in the bar area. The place was mostly empty, with a few tables and some people sitting at the bar. Chips and salsa were bought to the table for my wife and me. The bartender was also our server, and she was prompt! We ordered avocado fries as an appetizer. I got the Big Borderrito made with chicken. The kitchen was turning out hot and fresh food. Avocado fries were piping hot and our entrees were simply delicious! We noticed that the restaurant was in cleanup mode, so we asked what time they were closing today. 9:00 was their new closing time! Nobody looked at us funny for walking in the door 10 minutes before closing, no griping, and no snide remarks from anybody! We apologized for our late arrival and she told us she was happy to have us dine with them tonight! Awesome food, plentiful drink, excellent chips, and awesome dinners with friendly and professional service! Go check them out, but show up earlier than we did!

Pulled up to on the border for a late lunch and I must say I was pleasantly surprised. It had been at least 6 or 7 years ago that I ate at on the border so I really couldn't remember if I liked it or not. So I thought I would give another try. The chips and salsa too start were good and my mojito actually had a nice stiff kick to it. I got the beef chmichumga and my wife got the fajita quesadilla. Both were very good. Yes I would repeat.

Excited at first, but ultimately just disappointing- Came in here with a bunch of hungry friends and had a good first impression of the overall restaurant. Menu looked really good too, with a great variety and semi-decent prices. The food though was just disappointing. I ordered two chicken tacos and two soft shell chicken empanadas with black beans and rice, and the whole meal was just bland. No spices, no flavour, just nothing. The chicken tasted like it was boiled. The sour cream tasted like plain old yogurt, and the beans tasted like something you'd get off a grocery store shelf. It honestly felt like when I had Covid and couldn't taste anything, because there literally was no flavour. The two star rating is for the great service, patient and helpful waiter, and overall calm ambiance of the restaurant. The food was a big miss for me though. Season your food people!

Samantha was phenomenal! Very professional and knowledgeable, as well as kind. The food was absolutely amazing! I ate all my food at the restaurant. My wife had leftovers. Thank goodness because I just wanted to keep eating the food. I cannot wait to go again. I have to say it again, that food is exceptional and my compliments to the chef. I’m gonna buy 2 entrees next time to prolong the experience of what fine dining is all about.

The sever was really nice and drinks was tasty. The food was really good. I would come back.

So crazy. Usually good food, but this time...tiny portions and not tasting good. Like not good at all. $55 bucks. Everyone has a bad night, but I am writing this because I followed their complaint filing system, and I did not receive one call or follow-up. I told them I needed some type of follow-up or I would not be back. Have not been back since. Adios

I've been coming to this restaurant an avg of 2 times a week for about 4 months. My first experience was with an awesome waitress named Samantha. Everytime I go in, I ask for her section, whether at the bar or dining section. Rest of the staff are great, as well, but my favorite is Samantha.

Our first time trying. We have been a loyal Mexican Fiesta multi generational family for almost 40 years. Thought we'd mix it up a bit! My taco salad was good. Had to minus many items. I guess that's not a bad thing, more items, just many I personally didn't care for. I really liked their salsa!! While a tad spicy, I "suffered" through, it was that good!! My adult kids both enjoyed their meals. We plan on ordering again. Recommend if you haven't given them a try, make sure you do!! 👍

First time here. We ordered the Ultimate Fajita and we asked the waitress to be sure that the meal is enough for two, and she said yes. The plate that was served was nothing close to the image on the menu. There were 3-4 very thin slices of steak and chicken. Probably the good part of the meal was the shrimp and the drink. The tortillas were soggy as it seemed they rolled them when they were very hot so they all stick together and we barely could get them off of each other. I was not happy with the experience.

The food was not hot, the guacamole was so salty we couldn't eat it. There was some white sauce on one meal that was sour. The waitress was probably the worst we have had in a very long time. Not very friendly or attentive. She spilled beans on one of us and just laughed it off. We had to ask for a wet rag to wipe them off. The last beer never came. Noticed the atmosphere was tense like the staff didn't like each other.

Big shout out to on the border in Westland for the two big bags of chips and salsa for my neighborhood block party!!!! I spoke to the manager and she was generous enough to donate some chips and salsa. We really appreciate it so much!!!It’s the little things❤️ Also, I came here for the painting event and that was so much fun. That is such a great idea! I love the food and atmosphere here!! Highly recommend you guys😊

Every time we order take out from here they forget something in our order. Tonight it was tortillas. We no longer eat here as much because of this. No joke though, it's every carry out order. Check your order before you leave If you do!

We went as company group around 13 person and at that day there was only one waitress she did a great job serving everyone as fast as possible we didn’t wait for long time to get the food or the drinks and no mistakes with order the food quality the food was really good served hot and we have a great experience. I would highly recommend it. The only thing is I ordered cheesecake they could not serve it because it was frozen and because of the short staff they could not have somebody to do it and it was fine with me. I would still give them five star.

This is by far the worst food I’ve ever had at a restaurant. They should be ashamed fooling people into paying for this slop. Awful service, awful food, let’s not even talk about “ambiance” lmao AVOID AT ALL COSTS

Flavor was great but the steak was the toughest thing I’ve ever eaten. Whoever cooked it cut it completely wrong. Couldn’t even eat my tortillas with it. Please teach the cool how to properly cut a steak so it will be tender.

Love this restaurant!! Best one to come to eat and for drinks. Isabela is the best bartender/server! She has always been so super nice and attentive!! Makes you feel like family! Everyone here is great!! I would definitely recommend to anyone.

I had a great experience all around. I ordered the chicken fajitas as usual it was delicious. My server was Jordan he was also the bartender. He was very attentive and a great customer service representative for this restaurant. Overall I give it an A+ rating 🙂

Very authentic delicious food, I was happy to find low calories options. Service was great too. I'm definitely going back !
