Very fast service. Wandering around Alexandria and decided to stop for a quick bite. The iced coffee was fantastic and even better on a summer day. The summer roll was delicious and wrapped so perfectly it was almost a crime to eat it. The roast pork banh mi was seasoned well and had a good balance with the veggies. The staff are friendly and if the weather is good, eating outside is very nice. When this was served to me they placed a laminated sign on the front door saying no more banh mi for the day. While this may be disappointing to some, I take this as a sign this restaurant cares about quality over quantity and this means they bake their bread daily and that their banh mi is in such high demand they have a sign made up because they would rather sell out than serve day old food or have it go to waste.

Phenomenal Pho! A bit pricey but what is t in Alexandria, VA? Very high quality ingredients and excellent, excellent service! This place does a MASSIVE take-out service. While I was here (30-45 minutes) I bet 35-45 orders came and went. Super busy. The weather was amazing and the patio was open also. I would definitely come back. Well worth the $$🙏🇺🇸

Parking will be the biggest challenge since it’s street parking in a touristy area. It’s a small casual setting but comfortable. If the weather is good then opt for a table outside and enjoy. Service is good as well as the food. I had a red curry bahn mi which was pretty good and my wife had the grilled chicken vermicelli, which was decent but not standout.

Comprehensive PHO Review: Caphe Bahn Mi Broth: 8.7 - Very tasty and refreshing broth. It was a little light and not as fatty/rich as other broths i have had. Still delicious. Noodles: 9 - These noodles tasted like they were freshly made in the back. So spongey and delicious. Would have been a 9.5 but there was just not a lot of them so i'm docking .5 points. Meat: 9.5 - SO Fresh and tasty. They have grilled ribeye and filet mignon.. need i say more? Veggies/other: 10 - standard lime, beansprouts, jalapenos, and basil - but these looked and tasted so fresh and this is a this is a REAL sriacha establishment. No complaints at all. Vibe/ambiance: 9 - A little small, and some interesting/cool decor. Great service too. Perfect mix of traditional and modern IMO. OVERALL: 9.3 out of 10, and may be my new favorite spot.

Went during lunch time on Sunday. pretty packed, but service was good. Instead of trying their banh mi (which is all of my friends agree that they’re good) I ordered pho. Their pho is good. Light broth, pretty generous with the meat. Good size and paid like $20 with tax included.

Too too yummy in my tummy! The banh mi, the bun, the shrimp salad, the beer, the decor, the atmosphere, the takeout, the wine dispensers, the outdoor seating, the rice, the rolls deep fried to perfection. But not cheap.

Sooo good and reasonably priced too. One of my new favorite spots in Alexandria. These sandwiches are super tasty and could easily fly under the radar. DC area might sneakily have some really elite Banh Mi. The baguette tasted fresh and all the ingredients were portioned out in a balanced manner. Inside is kind of tight and chaotic so we opted to sit outside even though it was a hot summer day

I stopped by for lunch. They greeted me as soon as I walked in and served me quickly. I asked for the vegan chay bahn mi and the server asked if I wanted mayo since it wasn’t vegan. This doesn’t seem like a big deal, but I have ran into many servers who do not know the difference between vegan and vegetarian, and honestly just ignorant about both of them. The sandwich was good-it does have a sweetness to it, so if that’s something you don’t prefer I’d suggest something else. As I was leaving, the server gave me some tips for parking in the neighborhood-without me having to ask, wonderful customer service here.

A must Vietnamese for all to visit when in Old Town Alexandria Virginia. For starter, We ordered the Lotus salad for appetizer, the sauce flavor was delicious, place all the salads, shrimps and mint leaf on shrimp crackers to get the best flavor out of the salad. My main course is The Works phở, the broth was unique with a hint of star anise that made up phở flavor. Plenty of variety meats that made this authentic bowl bursting with deliciousness. I heard so much about their bánh mì so I had to order one for the road since I couldn’t eat it in one sitting. Overall I highly recommend Caphe Bánh Mì if you’re looking for an authentic Vietnamese food.

The nicest folks and delicious food. We were travelling and came across Ca Phe Banh Mi while in the area, we had some personal mishaps, but the restaurant was very kind to us. It is a truly refreshing experience.

This little gem is the comfort food you will not forget! It’s the little restaurant we long the most suce we moved out from this fantastic old town! Ask for the chicken pho with meat broth. What a treat for the soul and a great health boost. They also have new to go containers and new wine station.

Wow, this restaurant truly has some fantastic bahn mi and tasty pho! I had the grilled pork, terrrific. The service was a little slow, but to be fair they were very busy on a Saturday night. That being said, the food was worth the wait, truly satisfying! I absolutely recommend a visit for great Vietnamese food!

The food is ok. There are a lot of meat but less noodles. The restaurant is nice. Staff is friendly. However, I order $16 vegetables pho for Togo. It has only 4 pieces of thin tofu and 4 pieces of cauliflower. It's quite expensive.

Excellent service and good tasting food. We appreciated the vegetarian options including pho. They have indoor and outdoor seating and do a brisk business with call in orders. Would recommend.

Best beef broth I’ve ever had. They had ribeye, which I’ve never seen in pho before and it was amazing. They even allowed our service animal to come in which was surprising because of the such small atmosphere. Will be back again!!

Of the three Vietnamese restaurants that do plant-based Bahn Mi sandwiches, Caphe Bahn Mi does them the best. The bread is crispy and the textures and taste are great. They make it quickly and it’s an easy sit down meal or quick street food as you get back to enjoying King St and it’s supporting streets.

Tried Caphe Banh Mi for the first time after GW Birthday Parade. They were soooo busy but the service was excellent. No waiting for our food, refill on drinks empty plates pick-up. The food was delicious and inexpensive. Will definitely go back and highly recommend it.

Delicious and fresh - we stopped here for a quick bite. We ordered a lemongrass chicken Banh Mi and Tamarind Rolls and found both to be flavorful. The place offers outdoor seating too, which is nice to enjoy the old town vibe.

Prompt service, great flavor! If you get the tamarind rolls & a sandwich, save your leftover sauce, it's so good. Small space so expect to sit next to a neighbor, this place gets packed (but w/ great reason)

A small neighborhood restaurant a block away from the crowds and noise of King Street. Most people sat at the tables outside on this lovely day. My Grilled Pork Banh Mi was loaded with meat on a fresh baguette. Perfect for a quick lunch.

Most comforting pho. Their vermicelli bun was really good as well. The Bahn mi itself wasn’t great. I think the bread could be better. But overall I loved the experience. The food was delicious & the staff was very friendly.

The Banh Mi was phenomenal. We also had the rice plate and my bf who usually doesn’t like Vietnamese food (because it is usually too bland for him) love it without adding Siryacha. Will definitely come back soon.

I had a descent lunch here with my best friend. Their beef 🥩 pho 🍲 isn’t as good as the pho in Virginia Beach, VA(Pho 79)Hagerstown,MD (Pho Viet) Groton, CT (Phantasia)or Frederick,MD(The Lucky Corner) because we specifically asked for skirt flank (which is w/o gristle) and eye of round(has gristle). This pho could have been better. When I pay with my bank card you want to get paid so therefore you need to serve the correct meat when I order pho. I have several Pho 🍲 restaurants up and down the East coast and one on the West Coast and none of them have disappointed me like this did. The Jasmine tea, steamed rice, and Boba tea was the only thing that was good from this restaurant.

One of the best restaurants in Alexandria and some of the best pho I’ve had. The broth really makes their pho excellent, and I always enjoy the tender brisket.
