Court Farm Butchery & Country Larder is an environmentally friendly way to do your shopping directly from producers of meat, fresh fruit & veg, cheese, pate, flour, fruit juice, plus bread, cakes & pastries from Cuxton Bakehouse and beer and ales from MOOT brewery on site!

We buy the majority of our meat here and have done so for nearly 5 years. In an age when the quality and providence of food is so important knowing most of their meat is reared, slaughtered and butchered locally (or even on site) is incredibly important. The beef is a particular highlight but the pork and lamb are equally good. Excellent BBQ selection in summer and delicious turkeys at Christmas. The other local sundries are improving too, wine, beer, veg, eggs, chutney and baked goods. Mike and Billy the butchers have become almost like friends over the years and are always helpful.

Great produce, staff are friendly and can make items that are not on display if you ask, chicken crowns etc. Also the chicken pie is the best pie I've ever tasted so I'm whispering this in case they all sell out, worth every penny as there is at least one full chicken breast, shredded, plus the pastry is totally delicious. I usually cut most of the pastry away from any pie I have as it's crumbly and stodgy (maybe my cooking!) but my plate was clean. Please don't sell out 😁

We attended the Turkey Tasting last night. It was fabulous. A banquet rather than a tasting. The meat is delicious from this farm and will be on our table for Christmas

I've just bought your Luxury Chicken &Ham Pie at the Royal Arsenal Garmers Market -it is absolutely delicious! No room for any more meat as it is packed solid, and the pastry is superb. I will definitely be back for more.

A fantastic shop filled with delicious treats to eat and drink. Originally went for saussages, left with a lot more! Looking forward to the tap room opening soon!
