My husband got me the Alpaca adoption pack for Christmas which included the Alpaca walking experience. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Hensting. The staff were really friendly and accommodating, and the alpacas are absolutely adorable! We learnt a lot about alpacas and had the opportunity to walk gorgeous Jasper on the day. We were also able to feed the cria (babies) and the female alpacas at the end of the walk. We had a great experience and will definitely be visiting again. If you love alpacas, this is definitely for you! πŸ¦™

My Mum and I visited Hensting Alpacas today and had a wonderful time. I have been Alpaca walking at Hensting Alpacas 6 times now and will continue to return as it is a fabulous experience for all. The staff are all very knowledgeable, passionate and friendly. The animals are all so well looked after and cared for and it’s lovely to see how well the staff know their individual personalities - including the sheep. I totally recommend this experience to anybody looking for a morning out in the beautiful countryside with fascinating animals.

Had the most amazing day doing the henstings alpaca walk which was gifted to me as a birthday present. The staff were all so lovely, welcoming and knowledgeable about the alpacas, even with all the questions we asked. I got to walk the ciras, both Arthur and Avalon and feel in love with them both. For their second walk, they did amazing!! I would definitely recommend anyone a visit here, it makes a fantastic gift and it's a memory I will hold forever. Also the gift shop is so lovely, a great opportunity to buy something to remember your visit by. I live my new keyring and gloves I hope to come back and check back in with Arthur and avalon soon and see how their grow

We had a wonderful 'Alpaca my Picnic' experience yesterday (24th August). The alpaca are calm and so well looked after, it was a pleasure to spend time in their presence. Caroline and Charlotte were so welcoming and knowledgeable, they went out of their way to help our elderly grandparents to make sure they were comfortable and able to enjoy the experience to the fullest. The gift shop was a lovely touch to get a souvenir. Having done the walk previously, and now the picnic, we cannot recommend it highly enough, thank you!

Had such a lovely morning walking De Pasco! πŸ¦™ The walk itself isn’t actually very far but the alpacas don’t walk very fast and there are a lot of stops everytime one needs a toilet! There are also a couple of stops to feed the alpacas and plenty of photo opportunities. We also got to feed the females at the end and see the baby Crias. The staff were very welcoming & knowledgable and happy to answer our questions. We also bought the best souvenir… a bag of alpaca poo for the garden! Overall an excellent unique experience, one I would definitely recommend.

We booked a picnic on the 24th (yesterday) as an opportunity to spend some time with our Grandparents. What a beautiful experience! Caroline and Charlotte were welcoming and incredibly knowledgeable and the Alpacas are such peaceful, creatures it was a pleasure start to finish. Would recommend wearing sensible footwear whatever the weather and enjoying your picnic before greeting the Alpacas. Also got some items from the gift shop which were very reasonable and beautiful. If you do one thing this year do this!

What an amazing experience my granddaughter loved it. A slow leisurely walk by the river and coming to an abrupt stop when the alpacas noticed the paddleboarders was so funny as they was so inquisitive and all stopped to look. The staff are friendly and very knowledgeable. Mind you the offer of soup and hot chocolate at the end was brilliant given the 30+C temperatures. Yes that is how bad the jokes are..... would recommend this to everyone it is so peaceful and tranquil and just being near the alpacas takes all your worries and stress away even if for just a short time. We had a bonus extra on the walk with a 3 week old cria called Sage joining us and deciding to be the leader much to the amusement of the other alpacas and staff. Definitely going to be booking another walk. Many thanks to all the staff for their involvement they make it a special day.

Fantastic morning out! We did the 2 people 1 alpaca ticket and had so much fun. The alpacas were very friendly and cute. The staff were informative and helpful. We walked around the field with our alpacas, got to get up close to the babies in their pen, feed our walking alpacas and then feed the mothers and babies. A beautiful walk by the river and a great way to spend a Sunday morning. Highly recommend would love to come back for the picnic experience with family πŸ¦™

We had a great morning learning about the alpacas, getting close up and walking with them. My 9 yo loved it so much she declared alpacas are now her favourite animals and she wants to go again as soon as possible 😁

This was a birthday present for my daughter back in February, luckily we had 6 months to use the ticket. Worth the wait! What a lovely morning out. Not knowing the area I did miss the entrance so look out for the gate! Staff are so friendly and very clear about the treatment of the alpacas with full information, also very observant of children when describing β€˜cuddles’ when mating. You can see the alpacas are very well kept and cared for. Great little walk around with Jasper, as well as 2 snack stops where you get to feed them. Any child under 12 has to have an adult with a lead attached but that is for the safety of both animal and little human , understandable. We were then invited to see the babies and mums out in the field which was just so lovely. My daughter was extremely happy to come away with a model alpaca made from alpaca hair…nice touch. Also, a garden center at the end of the kiln lane made it even more appealing when we could have a drink afterwards and summarise our morning of buying a farm when we win the lottery. A very happy 9 year old

Well worth a visit to find out about Alpaca's and take them for a very gentle walk around the field, with quite a few poo stops on the way! Well organised and staff friendly and knowledgeable. There is something about an Alpaca, very cute!

Amazing day, our two guides were so informative and knowledgeable about these very lovable animals, I had the privelige of walking with Steve, a great companion for a walk in the pouring rain, as soaked as we all were I wouldn't have missed it for all the world, an amazing morning. To the amazing guides that made this day possible, thank you, I hope we can return one day soon, perhaps under sunnier skys.

We had a great walk with the Alpacas. We booked it as a surprise for our girls and it didn't disappoint. The sun even made an appearance and we had a beautiful walk along the river. Our hosts were friendly and informative and clearly love their job.
