I personally found the prices high . Mixed grill anywhere else is no more then £14, yet here its £20. First and last here . Taste was average . And the tips get nabbed off staff by higher ups . Id avoid .

UPDATE October 2021: Visited this place this month and was glad that not much had changed. Food was cooked fresh and full of flavour. Excellent service to top it all. The prices surely are on the higher side so will keep this for special occasions. We made a reservation and visited this place recently. It's decor is nice, colourful and feels cosy. For starters, we had the borek, chicken wings and onion rings. The onion rings came on a bed of salad and needed a bit more seasoning for my taste. Wings were delicious and so was the borek. For mains, we ordered for the lamb cutlets, stuffed aubergine and pan fried chicken. Lamb cutlets were well cooked and tender. The stuffed aubergine was surprisingly delicious and I was impressed with it. Unfortunately, the pan fried chicken was a thick slab of overcooked dry chicken in a very heavy white sauce which didn't quite hit the mark. The accompanying chips were great though! In the current situation, the table layout here is not best to maintain social distancing during busy hours. Overall, a great place with good, friendly staff and food cooked fresh with quality ingredients. Will visit again!

My favourite eatery in Thornton Heath. I always reserve a table at the window so we get the best vantage point for what's happening around us. Food of a consistently high quality. Service excellent. Sam and his team take care of us well. Family and friends flock to this jewel in the community to celebrate those special moments throughout the year. Blue and Orange here to stay.

Atmosphere is cozy with dim lighting and beautiful paintings on the walls. The service was impeccable and the staff were friendly. They play great music, have authentic Turkish dishes and lovely drinks. Some of the best Falafel I've tasted with the most amazing chips. This is a place to try. There aren't that many vegan options (only 3 dishes), but it is worth it.

Celebrating a birthday there, warm and welcoming staff, good food and drinks to be had, great value for your money. Will go again Blue and Orange have become a favourite.

The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The food was delicious, with generous portions and well presented. We particularly loved the choice of starters and that they brought them out hot. There's free one hour parking on the main road but there's also a paid car park just off a side road behind the restaurant. Hope to come back again!

This is 100% the best restaurant in the area, the food is absolutely delicious and the atmosphere is amazing. We went with our baby and the ladies went above and beyond for us, we felt right at home. The prices are very fair. I recommend this place to everyone.

Blue and Orange never disappoints. Have been a countless amount of times over a number of years. Visited more recently and had a lovely meal accompanied by great service. I was however really sad to hear the Pina Colada has been removed from the menu as that was my favourite cocktail on the menu.

I took a friend with me today. The staff were very hospitable and gave us time to order. My friend who is of Portuguese heritage really enjoyed her meal and said that she would come back again.

The service was excellent. The food was presented well, and was flavoursome. Good portion size. I would dine in again. Good atmosphere.

I've been going there since the restaurant opened, and the food has always been amazing. I love the atmosphere there, plus the service has always been outstanding. I would definitely recommend trying this place as you will not be disappointed. If you enjoy spicy food, you need to try their homemade chilli sauce. It's out of this world

Menu no longer has my deep fried brie with cranberry sauce 😕 but the other starters were tasty. Had the warm chicken salad for main and a massive portion couldn't finish it but wanted to. The cocktails also delicious 😋. Going tonight for the 2nd time this month. 5* service.

I have enjoyed this restaurant over a number of years. The food is always presented nicely, but lately, I have noticed that the potion sizes are much smaller and prices have increased. Nevertheless, the staff are still polite and courteous and knowledgeable about the food.

This is without question the best restaurant within miles of Selhurst Park/Thornton Heath. The food is excellent and the staff efficient, friendly and welcoming. Plenty of parking available immediately behind the restaurant. My family all love this place.

Restaurant called blue and orange is the only restaurant I go to in Thornton Heath area because it's very clean hygenic extremely great customer service delicious meals and great choice of food and drinks especially cocktails. no matter what you order you can't go wrong. I just love it and always come back here try it out you will not regret it

Blue and orange is a decent restaurant not the best food tbh, maybe I need to try something different next time. But Karolina (staff member) made our experience exceptional great. She was so kind, patient and went the extra mile to give us the best service!

Excellent service EVERY time we visit this restaurant. Very good food with good value for money. Reasonably sized portions and good selection on the menu. The staff are always friendly and extremely helpful and attentative at all times when we are there.

The food is amazing the service is fantastic and atmosphere is calming. The food portions are big so bring an appetite. A lovely gem of a restaurant in the heart of thornton heath.

I have been here every other weekend for the last 12 years (when Crystal Palace play) and the B&O never disappoints. The quality, taste, portion sizes and service are all top class. Best restaurant in the area by a mile and i usually spend most of my week looking forward to my meal. Borek & a mixed grill.. you can never go wrong. Hats off to Sam and his team for running such a consistently good operation.
