Just how many people does this clinic see in a day? How many people are allowed to book a clinic appointment? To be honest, this new system is just the worst. Fully booked by 0840? I need to find a good clinic that does the job but is more accessible ASAP. Edit: upped to 2 stars. Please note I have no issue with the staff. They are always brilliant and very good at their job. No complaints to their service ever. However, issue still remains about the booking system. I was almost never going to get an appointment. I had to keep on refreshing the site for 1-2 hours. Appointment times disappear immediately so better grab that spot the moment you see it. It's not like other clinics that show you all the appointment times for the next day or for the whole week. And also, in my case, results came back almost a week after!

EDIT: After the initial issues booking the appointment in the first place, I had my appointment. The staff were great and the procedure took minutes. I was well informed with everything that was going to happen and was made to feel at ease. Really impressed with the care I received! The booking system needs to be sorted but other than that, I’m very pleased. So far I’m not having the best luck using this service. I’ve had to wait for days before I could actually book an appointment for a phone call. When I was finally able to make the appointment, I wasn’t called as arranged - my ‘appointment’ had been moved to another time without notice and the time changed. Upon calling reception to find out what was going on, I was pretty much dismissed and told to wait for my call, which will now be hours later. Not impressed as per when it comes to Croydon medical services.

Hello, My name is Elisa. I had an appointment yesterday with Miss Karen. I have to say that it was beyond my expectations, she was very kind, attentive, educated, supportive, she spoke to me kindly, clearly, patiently… Knowing that English is not my first language, she certified that I understood everything. And The appointment took more time than usual because I went there to remove an implant and have another one. It was hard to remove it, she did it gently! I happy and very thankful to her and all the staff, keep doing the fantastic job you are doing!!! Kind regards E. Quizi

I have been here twice now and the staff are really great. First time I saw Dr Khan and she was super helpful and friendly. Second time I went for a vaccine and the Nurse Michelle was great and also squeezed me in with Dr Darvishijazi for another matter that I had just brought up to Michelle. Dr Darvishijazi took care of me very well too. The staff really make this service but it probably could use some additional funding. The building is in a horrible state with the baseboards coming off the walls in some places. I think the staff deserves a better place to provide this essential service. Also while the service itself is great, the availability of appointments is not good at all and they could probably use more budget to offer a better and more convenient service availibity(or ideally even a walk-in service) to London's most populous borough.

Awful and scary. I have been trying to book an appointment for 3days! No appointments on the booking system. Nurse Caroline was horrific and "i havent got the time to explain the process" someone will give you a call she said.they wouldn't see me. I have 2 days before I have to just ride it out and get termination. I said I was walking in . I've been staring at the screen since 4am and refreshed at 8.30am to book until 10.30am this is no joke. Then I called. This is not a walk in she said. You'll have go to a&e and ( overburden the nhs) . I asked what are the outcome of the phone appointment again she said she doesn't have time to tell what could happen. What a frighteningly unreliable service with confusing messages on the website about how I book for different things. Disgusting. Someone do something about this please

To the young woman who was on reception at around 15:00 on 31st July, 2023: it would benefit you to learn some empathy and work on basic human kindness. I hope karma isn’t as unkind to you as you have been to the patients who treat you with (frankly underserved) kindness and decency.

Terrible clinic, why do I pay 100s into NI services every month and get no service. They don't pick up their phones, they have a ridiculous system of calling at 8.30am which is unhelpful for working people and then there's no appointments. Had to pay private to get services. Sad that in 2024 I'd have received better care in the developing country that I'm from. 😢

Today I visit for the first time Croydon health clinic. I was seen by nurse Jane Thompson. It was really a nice appointment. The professionalism, the communication, the service, everything it was really awesome. All staff is very polite and helpful. Such a friendly environment to be at. Well done for all the staff. Special for the nurse Jane. Thank you I will definitely recommend the clinic.

Awful, absolutely awful! Judgmental staff, not helpful at all and constantly giving misleading advice as to how to book appointments. Wasted two weeks trying to get an appointment for implant removal just to be told today that I need to call specifically on Monday to book an appointment. Guess what? On Monday they will say they have no appointments. I honestly hate what is happening with NHS these days..

I booked an appointment for 11:00am and wasn't seen until 12:10 noon which is unacceptable. I took a taxi to my appointment because, if I took the bus, I would have been delayed by 20 minutes. So, not only did I waste over an hour waiting around, I wasted money on a taxi too. After being seen at 12:10 noon, that wasn't the end of my appoitmment. I spoke to a consultant for a few minutes who wrote down my information and then she sent me back to the waiting room where I waited for about 10 minutes for the other portion of my appointment. After I was seen for the second time, I ended up leaving at 1:00pm. So, all in all, I spent 2 hours at the centre. To top it all off, I wasn't allowed the test that I actually came in for. As an attempt to not completely have my time wasted, I just accepted the test that I was given. Overall, the experience at this centre was highly disappointing. I will try to find a different centre to go to. But, if I have to use the service again in future, I'll ensure that I only book an appointment for the very first slot they have available upon opening.

I had a really great experience having a contraceptive implant taken out and replaced. The receptionists were lovely and the wait time was short even though they said it might be a while. I was with Karen who is a kind and supportive GP with lots of experience. She kept me calm and not focused on the procedure and we had a few laughs! I highly recommend this clinic as they are professional and kind and will ease the mind of even the most nervous patients!

I believe it’s not easy to book an appointment through their online webpage but I am lucky enough to get one of it from the receptionist after I walked in. Today it comes to my first day to get the service from them and the nurse, Varinda (if not mistaken) in-charge of the whole process and she has been very nice and mindful towards me. I had a few telephone appointments, because needed to put Mirena coil after polips removed. I have a letter from Croydon hospital gynecology department that must put a Mirena coil soon as possible. On the 3th call I have got a appointment on November 23. Today is November 4. Confirmation about appointment I didn't get yet. This clinic don't even deserve a star.

It was the first time I'm my first setup at this particular place and and I can write this place more than 10 out of 10 because everybody in this place is just so welcome in kind polite courteous doctors and nurses are extremely professional and I could not ask for better service I mean for better treatment. They ask you questions but they make sure they don't offend you and they never force you to do or say anything you don't feel comfortable with with which was really important during my visit. Due to my disabilities they have adjusted and they know how to behave towards everybody individually they treat people like people and not like just numbers. I have to put emphasis on this because when you go to a lot of places they just treat you as a number but when you come to this place they treat you as a person valuable person valuable human being and they treat you with at most respect. I felt so at ease and really comfortable when I came in because everybody was so so understanding of my issue they gave me so much useful advice I'm just really really surprised pleasantly pleasantly surprised that we have a place like that in Croydon and I recommend it highly for everybody. the reason for my visit was just a regular check up and I was treated really good they have done all the checks and make sure that I was all clean. Usually they say results will come in two weeks but my results came in 4 days. Ladies at the reception are very very helpful and no matter who you stumble across and ask them any questions they are so nice they will answer it or guide you through it. If you suffer from anxiety and you don't really feel that you need a regular check up but I believe that all of us need to check up regularly don't worry because people who work here will never make you feel anxious they will actually help you is your anxiety while you are there. Nurses are so skilled you don't even feel when they take the blood sample and doctors are so professional and understanding. I really can't thank you enough every member of staff from the receptionists to nurses and doctors for the way they treated me and understood me and for all the advice they gave me in the situation I was at when I visited. No matter what your problem is I highly recommend this place because I have really never experienced better service and I have been to fuel sexual clinics for regular yearly check up. They are kind nice prompt and very professional. Up at the moment when I visited a facial cover was required but they had understanding that I didn't have any mask with me so they gave me two options mask or the Shield and they did not force me to wear it if I didn't feel comfortable which I truly appreciate. Thank you all all at Croydon sexual health clinic for making sure that I'm alright for treating me as a human being and not a number. You are all amazing keep up the great work thank you so much. This goes to say I highly recommend you visit this place if you have any problems or if you simply want a regular check up you will always find humble down-to-earth nurses and doctors and you can see whoever you wish to see to talk about problem you may have have they will definitely give you solution to it and help you all the way through. 10 out of 10 even more than that I'm truly grateful

Rarely is it easier to go through the GP, but that’s been the case for me. Their website is not very user friendly and other than two videos on the website, it’s very difficult to receive in person advice about the pill, before ordering. Filling in one form isn’t good enough especially when you need medical information that is difficult to access and want to speak to someone about your options first.

As In person they are amazing I had my IUD Fitted and they were great very professional and attentive.... But the booking website is a complete Joke at 8.30 I was in start with booking and in the end tells me that fail... and that was it in 2 mints there is no apointments. Honestly after been on the phone for 1.3h in the day before for nothing as I don't have 100 availability with work and kids! Need to find other solution as this department is not gonna help!

I don’t normally leave reviews but thought I would here as I checked the reviews myself before visiting seeking reassurance. My experience here was positive from start to finish. The lady on reception was friendly, and the doctor and nurse I had during my copper coil/IUD fitting were so professional and reassuring. Everything was explained to me as we went through, and the procedure was over so quickly it took me by surprise. I had nothing to worry about and was really impressed by the whole service.

This is the most difficult place to get any form of contraception beyond the pill from. Even condoms seem to be elusive! I am concerned that if I am finding this difficult then what must it be like for young people! The whole of the croydon borough does not seem to know where and how to get contraceptive including my own GP. I would not be surprised if we have a lot of unwanted pregnancies due to this. NHS Please make the system more user friendly and easier to get basic contraceptive!!

Had my IUD fitted by Lorraine who was five stars worthy! Assistant nurse that day was, I can’t quite remember but I think her name was Sinead, both really lovely, reassuring and super professional! Only reason I give four stars was for my initial phone consult, first appointment time came and went with no call. I had to book another phone consult completely, a week or so later. The nurse that took the call that day (Monday 11th) was super lovely!

I visited the csh and nurse laxmi was very professional, polite, informative and kind. She gave top tier treatment along with Doctor David and ensured I was well looked after. I had a very positive experience and felt grateful that I was treated with so much care and compassion

I'm sorry but they took over 2 weeks to get back to me with my results after sending off my test in the mail..Then when I complained they said they would give me a call and when they did I was at work driving so couldn't answer the phone, then upon listening to the voicemail I only heard some people in the background and then hung up. I didn't know who it was but then I traced the call and it was in fact the Croydon Clinic. The lady then answered and said I had to wait till someone called me. Until now there was no explanation on why they are acting like this.

I recently went for a coil fitting for the first time. Vanita and Anita were amazing. Friendly, reassuring and kept me feel calm and safe. What a lovely team. Thank you both

booking system is terrible, called to book an appointment at 8:30am as the website wasn't working. Was told that the website is down and should be working around 9am and that they do not take booking over the phone. terrible service and terrible website

I had my coil replaced by Dr. S. Adil and Nurse Anita. They were both extremely lovely, made lots of effort to make me feel comfortable, and made the process as smooth as possible. I recommend this clinic’s services (even though I know the booking process is a bit of an issue).

Vanita and Sam were very sweet and made me feel so relaxed when I went for a nerve wrecking check up a few weeks back, even with the blood test which I typically get so panicky about I felt super calm because of their professionalism and kindness so just wanted to shout them out and say good job! My first experience with the NHS and honestly I’m blown away! I was seen by Nurse Vanita Devadass who was lovely, friendly and so super quick! The clinic is clean and the advice I was given details and reassuring! Highly recommend!

What is wrong with this online booking system- it’s my 9th day that I am waiting ready at 8:30 am and no slots !!! I called and receptionist still says “ yeah wait at 8.30 online yeah”… absolutely no help:(

Had a telephone contraception appointment about Copper IUD. I explained my uterus' malformation only to be told I couldn't be seen because (direct quote) they do insertion "BLINDLY" & can't do any scans at the clinic?!? I would need to see a gynaecologist who would insert whilst scanning at the same time. Left me thinking what the hell would happen to other people who have my condition but don't know about it yet. Someone could be seriously injured !!! Every single person having an IUD fitted should be scanned first. I was told to go back to my GP, get referred to the hospital, which I already did in May and got an appointment for October!! It's such a long time to be without viable birth control options. System needs a reform.

Very rarely leave reviews but on this occasion it is a must I commend Consultant Cormack who I had an annual check up with today. He is amazing, extremely professional and knowledgeable. Also the receptionists were so polite and helpful when booking my appt, your hard work is often unnoticed so just to say that I appreciate you all. Many thanks, Gem ;-)

They have advertised to be closing at 18:30am but there is no one working. I visited the clinic because of this time information but they are closed. This is ridiculous. Everyone uses internet for updating themselves with several things but they cannot even advertise the correct working time. I had to pay for parking as well …

I had my implant removed and coil fitted in this morning and the two lovely nurses couldn't be more helpful. They were very professional, knowledgeable and super nice. Went for an IUD and was very nervous. Had a doctor, nurse and student nurse and they put me right at ease and were so kind and caring. Probably the best medical experience I've had so thank you Sandra, Danielle and Jordaine.

Really thorough and professional staff. The lady I saw for my implant removal was so lovely and she really knew what she was doing. Compared to my past experiences of having the implant out/in, I can honestly say this was the best experience I have had by far. I had minimal bruising and pain and I was given excellent aftercare advise.

I had my implant removed today by my Nurse called Lorna. I was so impressed with the service I received today and I'm very grateful to Lorna for making me feel so at ease. She gave me so much of her time to listen to my experience with the implant and I couldn't have felt like I was in safer hands. I was beyond nervous but Lorna made me feel supported throughout each step of the way. Thank you Lorna for making my appointment so relaxed. I would highly recommend Lorna if you feel nervous or if you need some further information about the options available to you.

I recently visited the clinic to have an IUS fitted. I was no nervous prior to meeting Sandra & Safura, and after hearing all those horror stories, gosh i was terrified. Unbeknown by me, Sandra was the gentlest women i have ever had the pleasure of meeting. Having an invasive procedure like this happen, you most definitely want someone who will take their time and actually be gentle with you. I felt so at ease in her presence. She is so welcoming and so friendly, i felt as comfortable talking to her as i do my closest friends/family. She had talked me through every step so that i knew exactly what was going to happen, something i would always recommend and do always prefer. Lets not forget about Safura, without her assistance my mind would have been all over the place; the nerves and anxiety would have most definitely kicked in. She too is so lovely and so very welcoming. I did not feel judged or self conscious around either of these two ladies, i was at pure ease. From my experience that day, i could not fault having the IUS fitted. I generally believe, because if these two women, my experience had been excellent. If you ever feel worried about seeing or speaking with someone, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND SANDRA & SAFURA.
