I love this place, can't fault any part of it. Really friendly staff, great food good selection of drinks and whenever you arrive at the bar you are always made to feel welcome. Also like the fact that the boss is always visible in the bar

I booked here for my 24th birthday and I cannot put into words the way I feel about this place. Service amazing, food impeccable, staff so friendly. My best friend they made an entire area for her after I had asked five other restaurants to do the same. The nicest people in the world. If 10 stars existed I would give them.

This place is a hidden gem under the arches, it's a great little hideout and perfect for either dropping in for some food, nibbles or drinks. I was surprised as thought it might be very busy and glad it was much better. The platter of food was overall great, with lots of good drink choices, nice staff and a big screen for sports. I can imagine in the summer it is a great place to go to. Keeping this one on the list for sure. Very close to Southwark tub and plenty of buses run near to hear. Lovely all around! Good value for money not too expensive either. Solid A**** LDT x

This was one of the most unpleasant experiences I have ever had. The bar staff accidentally splashed beer all over my head and jacket, but gave me a quick glance and never apologized. When I complained, he THREW a napkin at me and told me to go to the toilet. He added that here is a bar, not a restaurant, and that what he had done was the same as other customers spilling their beer. But he is NOT a customer, he is a service provider who is paid for his services. Even if he was one of the customers, he should apologize and not throw the napkin at me. Is this the standard in London? I don't want to believe it.

I've been a couple of times now and like the relaxed atmosphere, the food is good, the set meals are good value. Great for a group or couple. There's a connected bar next door, outside seating too.

Went here for early Christmas do, the food is very good and the service is great. The atmosphere can be a bit more authentic. The drink prices are high but that's London for you. Overall a very pleasant experience. Will be back

Every time I have out of town house guests I bing them to EV for dinner, every single one says its now their favourite place to eat in London. Try the meze menus, never fails to deliver fantastic food at great prices

Be honest I’m at this bar every Sunday with friends. Lovely place, diversity beers and really nice place to be especially outside that tables looks like in a beach feeling.

drinks are extremely overrated and overpriced with regard to its taste, at the entrance - billboard says “happy hour all drinks for 6£” - nothing actually happens cause they ask for full price anyway:) at least members of staff do not need to be rough… sorry
