😐 TLDR; a better alternative to Koyako down the road but the food is generally too salty. The ingredients used were good for sure but everything was just a little too intense to be enjoyable. We had the chicken and pork ramen. Both were served with a thick broth, very similar to Bone Daddies in Soho.... People often mention delicious, service, Japanese, ramen, great, friendly, sushi, good, vegan, chicken,

TLDR; a better alternative to Koyako down the road but the food is generally too salty. The ingredients used were good for sure but everything was just a little too intense to be enjoyable. We had the chicken and pork ramen. Both were served with a thick broth, very similar to Bone Daddies in Soho. However a lot of the otherwise rich and subtle flavours were over powered by the saltiness. It was a similar story with the “Korean” Fried Chicken which was more akin to a Japanese karage than KFC. Too salty to taste anything else. It’s a small cozy restaurant and the staff were attentive so no star lost there.

Super delicious Japanese food, everything we had was delicious. They were also able to safely cater for coeliac disease and have loads of naturally gluten free dishes

Well done! Their Japanese fusion cuisine is absolutely excellent. The food is really tasty and nicely prepared with fresh ingredients. I loved the available vegan options and the option to add lots of extra ingredients to the main dishes. The truffle fries were amazing as well as the gyozas. The service is also great. Very friendly and polite. Absolutely recommend

Sushi here is amazing! There’s a lot of choice for sashimi, nigiri and sushi rolls. We also got some main dishes which were very good too. Kind and friendly service, and lovely atmosphere. Amazing Japanese restaurant overall.

Definitely worth checking this place out... My favourite was the avocado salad and the pickles... Samon nigiri and sushi roll weren't too impressive, so if try something else when I go again, which I will!

Fusion Japanese restaurant serving with all sorts of things, ramen, gyoza, Japanese fried chicken, donburi and poke bowl stuff. We ordered 🍜, shell 🌮 . The cold tomato miso shell taco was so delicious, super fresh. Ramen was on par, not top shelf. I’d go back for other stuff for sure

They forced me to pay the service charge!!! My understanding is that it's optional and also on the tab where the fraudster took my order from, it clearly said 'remove' service charge. Furthermore I had to repeat my order request 3 or 4 times. At one point the waiter said to me ' sorry I forgot what drink you wanted'. Food was super average too. I would have given a decent review if not for the forced service charge!

Excellent vegetarian and vegan choices. Highly recommend the vegan sushi rolls - great flavour and texture in all dishes. The small plates are where they really shine. The ramen was great but we couldn’t stop thinking about the aubergine salad sauce!

Great cocktails and great food. We were two people and ordered nigiris and chicken katsu for dinner. The lychee martini was quite nice too! Bar seats were slightly awkward though, other customers kicked our seats as they manoeuvred around tight spaces.

I really like the tacos here, the ingredients are always fresh and it’s a great light snack. The few times I’ve gone to get them for takeout (maybe 4 times) the impression I get from the staff is always abrupt and unfriendly. As if I’m bothering them with ordering and waiting. And today we considered staying in to eat but the guy who took our order really didn’t care enough to tell us when there might be space, after asking for a table and being told it’s for two people (we were 3). Maybe you have to dine in to be treated properly.

We absolutely loved this place. So, so many vegan options. The truffle fries were cracking, as were both the tofu dishes. The food was all really great. The cocktails didn't quite live up but we're still OK. The atmosphere was lovely. We'll be back for sure!

Haven’t been to the main restaurant, but have enjoyed their Sunday onigiri stall on Broadway Market. Made right in front of you, and the stall has a great selection of toppings such as green onions and spicy mayo. Good price for a filling and delicious snack.

5 star ramen. Deep savoury flavours, tons of chicken, noodles and veg. Excellent value for money too. Would definitely come back

We dropped in for tea on a whim and then tried the spicy tuna tacos. All was good. Not everyone like the crisp taco shells but I thought they were a nice change. Service was friendly and the space was nice - would would definitely return to try more options.

Enjoyed having gluten free ramen and sushi for the first time in years! Happy to find a place for Japanese food that is willing to make accommodations for coeliac / celiac diners. Didn’t get sick, will definitely go back!

Food is very good, and the service too. They are very friendly and helpful when it comes to food restrictions. I could eat sushi and other plates with no soy and no gluten. All plates are good so anything you order will be perfect.

Visited on a Sunday at midday in early September. (Also ate here a few years ago.) I quite enjoy the restaurant. Easygoing vibes, friendly and attentive staff. Wide variety of dishes under the broad “Japanese fusion” banner. The food is generally delicious. Occasionally on the sweet and/or salty side, but it’s all very tasty. Most recently we enjoyed chicken ramen, miso aubergine, wagyu gyoza, sushi, miso-glazed salmon, soft shell crab tacos, and Korean fried chicken (“KFC”). Quite good value overall. Highly recommended.

I love Japanese food and I tried today for the first time Okko in fancy Broadway Market and it was delicious. The ramen, the kimchee and the spicy things everything was super well done. They were super helpful. They even helped to keep my bicycle in a safe place. Super recommended

Absolutely spectacular food, we tried as much as we could manage and everything was amazing. Props to the chefs and the front of house staff for working their socks off on a busy bank holiday Monday. As I said, great food, excellent service and a generally brilliant experience. Thanks so much everyone!

Excellent in all aspects. Great service, generous portions of fish, lovely atmosphere and good cocktails. The ceviche-like tacos were outstanding. Very good value for money. Will definitely be going back!

Nice little Japanese fusion spot - way calmer than the other places along the road. Loved the vibe. We had chicken ramen and salmon tacos. They are nice but not extraordinary.

Stopped here randomly while walking around Broadway Market and were so pleasantly surprised! Our drinks were great, sushi was even better!

Sashimi salmon - delicious, miso ramen with naked pork - tasty, chicken katsu curry - delicious, miso glazed salmon - delicious, poke super salmon - delicious. Sake Ozeki, plum wine spritzer - awesome. Really nice and helpful staff. £111. Great Japanese music. It’s very rare in London. I’ve asked about the artist. Some new sounds to listen at home. Definitely worth to visit.

Really lovely intimate spot on Broadway market. Staff are really friendly and helpful. I had the edamame, the vegan gyoza, tomato + miso tacos + the vegan ramen. The ramen was delicious and the gyoza was really good too! Lots of choice for VG + GF Would recommend

ONE OF MY FAVORITE RESTAURANTS OF LONDON. The stuff is amazing, friendly and kind. I can't stop eating every time I go there. Each dish is awesome and tasty. Cocktails you must try all of them. And the atmosphere is very friendly, the place is small but very comfortable. Is a perfect place to enjoy life and food and forget about problems. 😋 Is my 4th time going there since I discovered it! And I hope to come many times more! Congrats to all the team!

Tried out this great Japanese fusion place and got hooked, have become somewhat of a regular! Food is absolutely top notch, both meat, fish and vegan (I'm vegan, my partner eats meat). Apparently the sashimi is superb (from a real lover of sushi), and I can attest that the vegan rolls are awesome (more creative than the usual, but in a way that is not ridiculous). Lots of specials that are regularly changed too. The staff and service is awesome too. Highly recommended.

Lovely atmosphere, great for a date or with friends! Amazing service, they also accommodate for gluten free food with sushi and a few other plates. Great service by Arniel (I’m not sure how to spell it, sorry!) who was always available and looked after us amazingly! Lovely stuff, I’ll totally come back ❤️
