This is a great campsite in Lincolnshire, good location, clean toilets/showers and good sized caravan pitches. But its not without its tiny faults one of them being the fact the electric and water point is on the wrong side of some of the caravan pitches which isn't a huge issue as you would just need to run a long extension cable for the power and get a longer hose for the water so you can plug the water in directly to the caravan but could be a slight inconvenience to some people who don't have the extension cables/hose. Another point is that if your on the pitches that sort of backs on the woods and lake near the entrance in this case pitch 36 you do tend to get people walking very close to your caravan and in one instance a kid on a push bike cut through our pitch whilst the car was moved, but again is quite annoying sometimes but nothing major. Good for dogs and a lot of grounds for them to run about on. The showers are spotless and clean but is annoying that they turn off every 10 seconds but there really powerful so it makes up for it. One of the toilet blocks is nicer than the other as but still provide the same facilities. Overall 5 stars as its a great campsite and have great staff too, has its small faults but nothing can be perfect. Great :)

Had an amazing stay, the lodge had everything we needed and more. Set in a beautiful location, very quiet of an evening with respectful neighbours and friendly staff. Pretty lakes on site, great for fishing and dog walking. Well kept site, very dog friendly too which was great for us - the boys even had 2 dog beds waiting for them. We were very impressed by everything and everyone and we will definitely be coming back - the only thing I have to mention and tbh I didn’t even notice until right at the end of our stay anyway is the dirt in the creases of the outside bench/table as others have mentioned (dirty earbuds and old food) but other than that we really felt at home and had a great time. Thanks for looking after us all

First time for us three to this site. Excellent location, site is clean and lodges are well spaced out. Surrounding lakes. Fishing and bike riding avaiable. Small shop / reception on entry. If you arrive before 4pm (check in time) there is a seating area and a small outlet selling alcohol whilst you wait. We throughly enjoyed our 7day stay, would visit again.

We stayed in Lakeside Lodge 2 and were very impressed. We have stayed in many lodges at different places and this is by far the best! The hot tub was enormous! However, unfortunately, none of the lights were working on the hot tub and this was not resolved during our stay and we were told by the maintenance man that it couldn't be fixed as the hot tub would need to be drained. Usually, this would not have been a massive issue, however my son who has a brain injury loves relaxing in the hot tub with the lights on and this acts as a calming effect on him. In all honesty, this did ruin our stay as my disabled son was very vocal about it! On departure, I sent a lengthy email. Over a week passed and I had not received a reply, so I followed it up with another email. I was then told that my email had been passed to the General Manager. Unfortunately, almost 3 weeks have passed and I have still not received a reply and do not expect to. I am quite disappointed and upset that nobody has taken the time to address my concerns and feel as though we have just been dismissed, even though our break was ruined! I honestly believed that Woodhall Country Park would have taken the time to make things right, sadly they haven't.

Reception staff great. BUT Lack of maintenance to pitches, grass and bushes overgrown. Toilets although sanitary fittings cleaned well, but not the sides of the cubicles and nooks and crannies. Chemical toilet emptying point has never flushed sufficiently to clear the contents. Toilet facilities not adequate when the site is busy. Past promises of upgrades never done. Direction signs for traffic to lodges not adequate. On changeover days vehicles regularly drive through the touring area and some even go down the footpath towards the play area. Lack of supervision of the site that was previously done by the wardens, security therefore lacking as the barrier is left open at times, dogs not on leads etc. Some ‘Privileged Owners’ ignore the site rules, parking several cars on a pitch and sometimes on the road. Also not disconnecting from electricity and water when not on site, a fire risk? This does not encourage normal campers to follow the site rules. No safe access by foot from the site to Woodhall, especially for wheelchairs and mobility scooters. Despite the above drawbacks, now the site imposes a massive 20% increase in pitch fees. The site does seem to be favouring the lodges to the detriment of camping visitors who are the ones that originally made the site a success. It gives the impression that lodges are going to eventually take over the site especially when surveyors have been on site again. Which is a shame would really like to keep on visiting

Took the motorhome were beautiful surroundings plenty of space an lots of availability of pitches but wasn't seasonal I'd say its very busy at peak season. Lovely an clean throughout the area an the facilities an staff very helpful an friendly if anything was required was the flooding of areas around the grounds definitely welly wearing required! Not badly priced but wasn't peak time when we visited will definitely be returning an recommended to others. Dog friendly too great walking area an a nearby woodland dog walk with a Tea room cafe in the woods ! Fantastic highly recommended an were very busy pop in for lunch but call to book a table they very popular place !

From arrival to departure staff were all friendly and helpful, the site is well laid out and dog friendly clean and tidy the lodges are beautiful spotless and with good parking, room around for kids to play. A couple of points they could benefit from black out blinds as due to early sunrise they become very bright early morning, the picnic benches may be better off the veranda near the bbq and some comfier furniture to relax on,for a larger group or family maybe bigger pans

Lovely clean site, all amenities were spotless. Staff were all helpful and friendly, we had trouble with putting up our awning (first timers) the maintenance gentleman and young lad helped us out straight away! The surroundings are wonderful for walks, the play park was great lots for our 5 year old to play on. We loved the place and can't wait to come back!

Lovely lodge, we were given Lodge 1, right next to the lake. Hot tub was great, lodge was clean and tidy, everything you needed in the kitchen area. Only downside, paying £15 for 4 days Internet and it wasn't good enough to connect to Netflix.

Our lodge was lovely, clean, modern, comfortable and had everything we needed. The site itself is quiet, dog friendly and well laid out, there is a good play park for kids and the walks round the lakes are really nice. Woodhall Spa was just a bit too far for us to walk to as it was so hot but there is a nice pub just at the back of the site. My only grumbles....blackout blinds are really needed in the bedrooms and the outside furniture needs changing. Its a shame as its obviously good quality...but a table with adjoining benches is not suitable for various age groups and/or abilities ...it isnt comfortable and its not easy to clamber over.

Our first time visiting this place, but we will definitely be coming again. This is a very well kept site, suitable for families and couples. The toilet facilities were excellent and clean. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The Lakeside Tavern was great to visit too.

Cracking holiday park just on the edge of town. Lovely modern lodges and camping facilities in a small tree-lined area. Needs better wifi, especially as its chargeable. Could do with an on site cafe/bar as the local pub is hopeless.

Be careful. After ariving for our Christmas stay at woodhall Country Park lodges we discovered that we had been downgraded from a lakeview Premier to a lakeside 2. Going back to reception to find out what had happened they told us it was horseason fault and to ring them. We rang horseasons who then told us that woodhall had it wrong and they would ring them to find out what has happened. Woodhall lied to horseason that we had been upgraded. By this time everyone had left for Christmas. We emailed woodhall and was told management would be in touch, we heard nothing. Upon leaving we had a nice conversation we Ross the manager who would his upmost to find out what has happened. One week later we have heard absolutely nothing. So thank you woodhall for robbing us of our money and ruining our Christmas break. My solicitor has since told me that woodhall has mis-sold us a holiday and we can claim the full cost from woodhall. Looks like I will be going down this route seeing as there's is no contact from Ross. Please be careful when booking a lodge a woodhall. And the beds are terrible.

Stayed in our caravan for the weekend,as we do every year!. One of our favourite sites, very nice site, lots of space between pitches and close to local amenities. Once you are parked up you don't need the car again , you can walk to the open air swimming pool, restaurants, shops, takeaways, cafes and butchers. Play park on site for the children as well.

One of our favourite places to visit, went a few times last year but not been yet this year as I know there are lots of changes so will wait as we like the peace and quiet. We love fishing there too. Would be great is there was a few childrens activities throughout the day such as nature trails, themed walks, craft activities etc. we will be back again 🥰

Had the loveliest weekend break here, the staff couldn’t be more helpful, the hot tub was regularly checked but the site was just so peaceful with plenty of space between each lodge. Lovely walk along the spa trail and shopping in Woodhall spa. The hot tub was lovely, a great time had by us all we will be returning and would recommend to anyone!

We went to the bonfire night event here and loved it. Staff were polite at reception. Everything was organised well with the only part that was a little annoying was the big delay for the 2nd part of the fireworks. We will go again next year.

Stayed in one of the four 'hideaways' for 4 nights, these are kind of a cross between a caravan and a lodge, with sink/hobs/microwave in a little kitchen area, and a small bathroom with shower. Very clean and modern, fold out bed wasn't too comfortable but was better when sleeping the opposite way round so we were ok. Small heater that warms up the small space on a morning (needed as it gets a lot of condensation overnight on the windows!) Some plates and a couple of pans provided, only cups were 2 plastic wine glasses, could have done with some tumblers I think. We opted for the bedding package so we didn't have to bring our own and this was ok, although the pillows (one each) were very thin. Overall had a good stay in a very peaceful park.

Spent two nights here in a tent with friends who were in a caravan, and enjoyed it. For me, a site's experience centers around the wash rooms and on this site, there fairly modern, very clean and no issues with them over our stay. A little snag when we arrived where someone else's tent had been placed over our pitch. This was due to poor pitch marking, but the very friendly staff resolved the issue without hassle and openly admitted the problem amd apologised, so thank you. Main gripe is the wifi, you have to pay for it, which I didn't, cellular reception can be patchy so I bumbled through, but really, on such a nice site you have to pay for wifi!!. The rest of the site is clean and well maintained and has a park for young children and an open field area for walking dogs. Would go back again.

Have been using this site since it opened. Beautiful site, always clean and tidy. Helpful staff on hand. There is a lovely pub just outside the entrance who do wonderful food and serve wonderful beer. It's a nice walk into town approx 1 mile and half way to town is Jublee Park, always plenty going on even in the out door swimming pool. The wooded area is again very clean and we have had many a present walk around the road way through it. Plenty of history in the area as you would expect from one of the top towns in "Bomber County". Would I recommend this site ? If I didn't like it I wouldn't be going again for the 11th year on the trot. It is ideal for that quiet get away at any time.
