Shockingly poor car park that has been very badly designed. The council either need to radically improve the spiral entrance and exit ramps or make it very clear that it is only suitable for small cars. Unfortunately once you are through the barrier you're committed!. The width of the entrance ramp is incredibly narrow and needs to be approched with extreme care. The sprial exit ramp is so narrow with an extremely tight radius that it really doesn't matter how slowly and careful you go down, if you have a large car expect to curb your wheels. In several places on the exit ramp one has no view of the ramp ahead!! I used this carpark once whilst visiting the area (4Sep22) and couldn't have been more careful but on exiting it has cost me dearly.

Good location but... Tiny spaces, many with pillars and drain pipes which makes them so narrow as to be unusable for anything but bikes. Corners tight, car park is difficult to get round. Lift not working. Use the stairs at your peril, dodging the puddles of vomit and urine.

Utterly ridiculous, badly thought out, user-hostile and midget car park. A total nightmare if you are driving anything bigger than a tiny smart car. A ridiculous spiral ramp on the way in and up and on the way down and out. Tiny spaces and a forest of concrete pillars to scrape and dent your car on. Avoid.

Really hate this car park. The warden here is trigger happy and enjoys issuing PCNs like confetti. Maybe I will now avoid Kingston city centre and do 90% of my shopping online. Footfall is already reduced and with this type of behavior coming into town is no longer inviting or economical. Byeeeee

I have always been pleasantly surprised with this car park. And the proximity to town centre is brilliant. very handy indeed!

Far too small. Had to lower my cars suspension to even get in the car park. The spaces are so tight too

The worst parking lot ever, medium size car barely fits. Way to tight, very high possibility to scratch your rims. Don’t go there if you care about your car and it’s not small hatchback.

Impossible to find the entrance. Very badly signposted. Evrn with google maps it took me 3 times around before I could find it. The ramp was built for a mini minor. Narrowest ramp I have ever seen . And bloody expensive

Entrance confusing and very narrow spiral ramps to the various floors with high kerbs. If you drive a medium or large sized car and have alloy wheels be very careful or choose another carpark. NCP need to improve this carpark

If I could give this zero stars, I would. Alloys are guaranteed to get scratched no matter how small your car is as ramps are unbelievably narrow. Parking spaces very narrow and lifts don't work. Incredibly expensive to park, just shy of Β£9 for 3 hours. It's only possible to use the app which allows for reduced rates, in advance, can't do at the pay machine, you MUST scan your NCP app when entering the barrier. Lessons learned but please, please avoid. Rather park illegally outside and get a fine, it will be cheaper as you won't have to get your alloys/wheels done.

Very expensive for what it is! I am not too fussy where I park but I park in there all the time because it is close to my workplace and I am already terribly sick from the very narrow lanes which makes it super hard to go up and down. They destroy my wheels and alloys. I guess it's good thing that I am not driving super expensive car. I give it 2 stars just for the location otherwise would give 0 if I can

As countless others have said, this carpark sucks.. the spiral ramps are so narrow with high kerbs, they damage alloys of even the most careful & experienced driver..

  • 1/5 Dariusz G. 8 months ago on Google
Horrible place if your car is a current size you're looking at scraping your alloys, , if you haven't got a cameras around your car you'll damage your bumpers or alloys as there's a high curb around the road that leads you into it , Leaving it is as full of hazards as entering it Horrible design for a public car park Great for minis smarts and Fiat 500 everyone else better stay away from it

All the car charging points don't work waste of time. The ramp is to narrow for the new cars wheels will get scratched its time council built something for green environment thing they go on about. There is hardly any charges around the town.

Absolutely Terrible Β£500 damage because I didn't read the reviews. Every car I say going up on the narrow pavement to enter got the wheels curved. This is a scam and a fraudulent location because of the operating management of NCP. Shut this car park down

  • 2/5 Kevin M. 7 months ago on Google
It's Β£2.95 an hour if you don't use the app. I stopped before entering and saw a sign that said Β£1.95 an hour, then when I went to pay after 90 mins the machine said Β£5.90! Lots of puddles.

Really just echoing others' comments in that this carpark is a spiral in and out ramp of very narrow kerbs, designed to absolutely ruin your alloys. If they vaguely cared, which from the numerous poor reviews, they don't, NCP could at the very least angle the kerbs, so your tyres and not your alloys get very familiar with the kerbs. The down ramp is even worse as your perpective coming over the brow means you can't even see the kerbs, let alone seek to avoid them. You don't know of the horror that awaits you until you're committed and whilst I escaped with minor damage, my alloys are still not talking to me! NCP, STOP BEING GREEDY AND FIX THIS ISSUE.

Crazy narrow ramps to get in and low ceilings. Lifts are alarming, but we always have a safe parking experience here so no real problems.

Tragic car park. As others have mentioned the ramps are too narrow and it’s a pain to pay for your parking. The machine swallowed my ticket and I was left unable to pay and ultimately had to be let out by calling customer service :(

I wish I’ve read the reviews before entertaining. Recently refurbished alloy wheels well scratched, not only scratched, but damaged. As one of the previous reviews says better to park on street and get fined, than redoing wheels

Don’t ever park your car here! Seriously we didn’t find the space, still had to pay to get out. Very narrow spiral entrance and exit, very narrow bays. Scratched and kerbed our car. Is it even legal to design such a carpark space!!!

  • 2/5 Vishnu Bharadwaj Palagiri S. 11 months ago on Google
Horrible car park. Its only useful for very small cars. The way up and down is veryyyy narrow and lots of experienced drives has damaged their own vehicles. Avoid this car park if you can.

Plenty of spaces, easily accessible, disabled bays which is very useful

Awful design, ridiculous spiral entrance and exit. Parking areas dark, badly lit and puddles everywhere. Signage for pay stations nonexistent.

Didn't go until like 645pm .plenty of parking .but Β£2.50 an hour

Absolutely destroyed my wheels in this place!. It wasn't designed for modern cars, it's not fit for purpose.

A day I will remember using this car park when I ended up with a fine and me and my partner ended up paying a great deal more who had day out out would I recommend Kingston locally local authority is probably not interested in bringing business into the area and helping their retailers make a living it seems the loonies have taken over the local authority and I'm more interested in saving the planet and saving the jobs in their area

Avoid if you have anything but a small hatchback. I am extremely careful and a spatially aware driver, my medium sized car ended up getting curbed on 2 wheels left side... The spiral down is unbelievably tight and if you have nice alloys you will have a high chance of curbing them. Judging from the reviews I'm not the only one who had this experience.

Car Park is fairly big but Requires redesign as well as Bays are very narrow. Requires attention in respect to Bay Marking.

The smell of urine was nauseating. Must be making over Β£10k a day in charges. Get some Full Time cleaners in, and if you have cleaners already, then management need to audit the site pronto!

  • 3/5 Melissa L. 2 years ago on Google
Tight car park. Lift was out of order and stairway was smelly as they usually are, with sick at the bottom. Pretty standard car park.

  • 1/5 Michael Y. 2 years ago on Google
Loved kerbing my car all the way down the spiral exit ramps. very narrow spiral exit road and small bays. Expensive too. Basically unfit for large long cars such as my insignia. Not too bothered about the alloys as my missus has destroyed them anyway.
