One of the worst experience and the biggest disappointment. To be honest nothing is worth it in that place. It is a complete mess and robbery. The shows are somehow okay but too short and nothing close to cabaret style they become lame during the night. Do not expect anything special for your thousand bill literally nothing special about this place. The food was so basic chicken pane that you can eat from Tesco where it would taste better at least. Horrible!!! Staff approach you and ask you to leave two hrs after you have already spend £900 on their tasteless food and very basic not good dessert and a bottle of gin for £400+ In case you didn’t want to leave after the two hrs they make you and they ask you to stay by the bar cz now you are nothing but less worthy otherwise exit the place completely and leave. Funny things when we left the place we saw people queuing to get in i felt pity for them cz they don’t know what they are about to witness. If you fancy a cabaret show with good food i would advise you to visit Park chinois great vibes great food great people and you wouldn’t be disappointed.

HONEST REVIEW - SPENT £340 FOR TWO! - ARRIVAL- Upon arrival was greeted by nonchalant security as well as non-bothered/non-attentive hostess who couldn’t even smile and greet us when we arrived. She was busy sorting something out on a WhatsApp group chat - Usually, I don’t care but considering that this is supposed to be an immersive show dinner experience I’d expect the first “impression” to be on job. [1/5] - SEATS - We booked the platinum seats and were seated right next to the stage which was great. Would recommend getting these. The chairs were uncomfortable but I guess it’s because they need light chairs because the restaurant transforms into a nightclub on the weekend. For the price I’d expect better quality. - SHOWS - The artists were really great but in my opinion too little shows within the time frame. INCA (similar restaurant concept in Soho) have a show every 15 minutes and they are longer than the ones at The Windmill and a bit more engaging. - SERVICE - The service was friendly BUT we were rushed from one dish to another. A second bottle of Sparkling water was added to our table and bill which we didn’t ask for. I’d like to be in charge of what I want to order - not the other way around. Bill was dashed onto our table without asking and in general everything seemed rushed. - FOOD - Mediocre food, it was okay but not amazing for this price point. Also way too dark in there, people were using torches to eat. - VALUE FOR MONEY- They add a charge for the Show of £20 as well as 15% service charge. I was a bit surprised as it wasn’t really stated anywhere clearly on the website?! I doubt that I’ll go again - it was nice to experience something “different” but all in one wasn’t worth the money. Thanks!

OK I will try to give The Windmill a fair review ... there were some positives ... but sadly overall it was a very poor experience. I had made a booking for a platinum dining experience reservation and the table was in a prime spot (but we'll come back to that later). No queuing at all as we had made a reservation ... we were shown to the bar as the table wasn't ready (no problem) and we order a couple of very nice cocktails ... expensive yes ... but I wouldn't expect anything else (all I'd say is be prepared) After about 20 mins we were shown to our table and it was just down from the stage so we though we were in for a brilliant show. Now to the show ... well 5 mins of acts (or so) with a 15 mins break in between each act is what you'll get ... do not expect 'The Windmill' to compare with some other venues in London offering similar theatrical dining. The apéritifs came and were stunning ... top notch cuisine ... The starters came quickly and were equally stunning ... very nice. The same cannot be said for the main course ... we waited and waited and watched people who has sat down after us get the main course. The show continued and our table was asked to be moved backwards due to one very talented act performing on the main floor of the theatre ... no problem (despite not yet having our main course). I was also told I would have to stand for this section of the show (which seemed very strange) The host, who can only be described a foul mouthed drag queen who's every other word was 'mother-f.....' assisted with 'moving' the table then knocked over my wife's full glass of wine. Whilst appearing to be slightly apologetic nothing else was done by either the staff or management. My wife then had to sit in a wine soaked skirt for the rest of the evening and also has a dry cleaning bill for her new corset bought for the occasion. There was no offer to replace the glass of wine and no offer of assistance. Eventually the main course of breaded chicken arrived however they had forgotten the side vegetable dish we had ordered. The breaded chicken was dry and overcooked (and like others have said very sub standard) and after reminding them of the broccoli side dish, that eventually arrived and somehow managed to be raw and burnt at the same time. The BANG London crew were in venue and it seemed that the host was only concerned about impressing them. All the table and bar staff were fantastic. We won't be returning and I couldn't possibly recommend going here ... save your money for somewhere that deserves it more. The Windmill is purely trading on it's history and name.

We came to London from Germany for one evening to see the revue at the Windmill Soho, especially to see Clea de Velours. We chose the late show and bought the tickets online in advance. When we were in London that day, we checked where the windmill is and took photos in front of it. There was no information anywhere on the outside of the store. A lady was just setting up the entrance. She didn't tell us that times have changed. We went to the hotel and changed. Then we're off to the windmill. On site we found out that instead of two performances there was only one performance that evening and instead of 9:30 p.m. it started at 8 p.m. I've never experienced that in my life, that a show starts before it says on the ticket. I also follow the Windmill Soho on Instagram. There was also no story about the time changes. I received the tickets by email and a request for a rating. However, it was not possible to send an email about the time change. On site it was said that the guests were informed by SMS. Due to the different country code, we did not receive any SMS. There wasn't even an apology. Just saying that it shouldn't have happened. There wasn't even an invitation for a free drink or an offer to come back another evening. We missed half of the revue. Came all the way from Germany for this. The disappointment was great and the evening was ruined for us. I just think it's a shame that the guests are treated like this. We saw 2 of the four show blocks. There were 3 short acts in a row and then a long break in between. I hope that this review will help to make such short-term changes more public.

I had a 3 course dinner here and a show.. I absolutely loved the show.. my face in d video proofs it, the only downer was we were not allowed to record any of the shows so now it’s a memory stuck in my brain that I have to explain to friends by word of mouth but can’t show, i must however commend that even though it was an evening show and I was alone, I felt really safe and taken care of. I was harassed by a man and his friends at the restaurant and the manager or so noticed and after warning him off and he didn’t listen, they were kicked out. As a black girl having someone actually protect u.. I was supper impressed and would recommend visiting here any day to anyone

Extremely disappointed & mislead! After careful consideration we made a booking at Windmill for a hens do on a Saturday night. We chose to book at Windmill as we were told there was a cabaret show and reserved a table for £1000 (originally quoted £1500). There was no mention of entry fees when we made the booking and at other clubs when you reserve a table you are not charged fees on top. The credit card charge was for almost £1,500 due to entry fees which the club did not disclose at the time and there was NO show. They also limited the minimum spend to be only bottle service, where the cheapest item on the menu was £500 (the bottle of gin was embarrassingly overpriced). Would never return and wouldn’t recommend!

This place is a scam - avoid at all costs! We booked a table here for my friends Hens party, were told that there would be cabaret shows and agreed that it would be a £1,000 minimum spend to reserve the table for our group. After arriving and being told we had to do bottle service or leave (the cheapest was £500 for a bottle of Tanqueray that costs £30 at a shop), we then found out afterwards they had also charged an additional £400 for entry fees to our credit card, which we were not previously advised of. To make matters worse, they didn't even have cabaret shows on this evening, despite what they had previously told us. When we queried this, multiple people in our group were told by staff that the shows would be starting soon, obviously an absolute lie as there was only a DJ playing all night. Rude staff, who obviously have no issue with taking your money on false pretences, and are now ignoring all calls / emails regarding these charges. Not surprising to read that one of the co-proprietors was convicted of a criminal offence in 2023 and has been jailed…

Initially I was planning to give this place 4 stars as it is not the kind of entertainment that I enjoy tremendously; however, if I consider what others may like who search for windmill soho nightclub, I decide to give it 5 stars. The performers were clearly very talented. The performances were excellent and entertaining. I was impressed especially by the hoop and pole performers. Food was fairly good. And the service was efficiently and friendly. If you’re living in London and like burlesque, I would give this experience a go!

Very nice club interior and polite service. The entrance to the room was just before 8 pm. Orders from us were accepted immediately. Other guests entered at different times and each received dishes at different times. We were booked with the 3 meals course and a show. I rate the food a 3 on a 5 scale. The starter, octopus, nothing special, just acceptable. Main course dry, breaded cold chicken meat, not much flavour, no salad. Lovely dessert, chocolate and raspberry mouse, very rich in flavour. The table staff were very attentive and fantastic. Very long intervals between performances like 15 to 20 min. Nobody announced when they would end and how many we can expect. Compared to other clubs I've been to in the past, this could be much better, a bit dissatisfied. Nobody said what time the artist's performances end, so after having food, people just started to leave, bored with waiting. From 8pm to 11pm there were a total of 6 shows, some of really fantastic, some useless completely. Naked lady on the sofa, no movement and different types of lights displayed on her body. The host, unfortunately, neither funny nor witty, no idea to keep the audience curious, most just he was swearing with not much sense. The room was drafty so I was cold. Compare to other events we went, not recommend this place. Disappointed evening from one more point. Filling out the form for the club, I wrote we are having evening for my partner's birthday. Some other people been treated with candles and cake from the same occasion but for some reason not my hubby.

We booked 3-course dinner and early show on Friday night for just £29 per person. We really enjoyed the show, and the host was quite engaging. The food was okay considering the price.

Fantastic food, amazing service, delicious cocktails and all the acts are very diverse and all equally as fantastic. Can strongly recommend for anyone who wants to go out on a date, celebrate a birthday or just have a fun night out with friends.

Great atmosphere...and entertainment. The performing arts could have been longer in between "intervals". Good portions were on the small side.

AMAZING UNREAL 10/10 Staff are extremely attentive and lovely. Food was great the ceviche was soooo tasty. The acts were lots of short acts and the diversity kept the energy going. Highly recommend for a date night or gals night 🥰

My friends and I visited for a Saturday night performance on the platinum menu. We had an amazing time. The service cannot be faulted, the staff were so attentive and every member of staff we came into contact with was professional and welcoming. The food was very enjoyable too and filling. The performances were outstanding from a singer performing upside down, fire shows and acrobatics. The venue was unique and intimate. We will be back as it was great value for money

It was a really bad night club and music experience. They don't let you in without high heels and look fancy basically. Drinks are expensive. Even though we only paid £10, it wasn't worth it.

We had the golden 3 course menu. The show itself was very basic 3 mins show nothing close to cabaret style, after the first chapter we couldn't breath of the smoke coming out of the firesticks. The food was horrible. The main menu was literally 'potato' and steak. The desert 2 plates of 3 pieces of melon watermelon 3-4 macaroons and skoop of vanilla tesco iccreem and all of that for 8 people. The worst was in the end when the waiter tried to manipulate with the bill and tried to overcharge us £700 plus. He did apologise after we said that this is not what we have had and bring a new bill. After that we had a booking for the night club but none of us was happy to stay so we all left. Such a disappointment, I should have read the reviews about this place before I decide to book. Definitely not worth the money.

We had dinner, and then we attended the club. It was wonderful, beautiful, and the shows were also interesting. We enjoyed it, but it is preferable to choose a suitable table for watching.

First time at Windmill, delicious food, great experience! Love the cabaret vibe. Fantastic performance at the show. From dinner to the club all in one place. I would definitely recommend for a girls or boys night out and also great place for a date. #recommend

We had a lovely time at the windmill. Whilst the drinks are pricey, the food was good - we especially enjoyed the steak. The show was good, it was interactive. We had a good time. Thank you

We had an amazing and unique experience at Windmill. It is not just a restaurant in the center of the city, but a space that combines good animation, good food and an incredible atmosphere. the service was great and very fast. I definitely recommend

One of the most horrendous and rude places I have visited. My friends and I tried to visit after the theatre and while the bouncers were kind and polite. The women providing entry were horrid and rude, to the extent of subjecting us to our Arabic background and being low-key racist. Would not recommend to anyone and would suggest avoiding unless wanting to pay 1k for a table (only one way for us to get in) I would recommend going to Jack Solomans close by instead or archers street. This is legit one of the most toxic clubs in Soho.

Wonderful experience, our waiter was extremely tentative and the show was AMAZING. I cannot believe I've never been here before, what a beautifully well-thought-out experience dining the Windmill brings to the table. Excuse the pun. I would go again and again. Ps the steak was worth the extra money from our set menu/package. Thank you team for your good laughs and fantastic vibes. Good for date night/ with the girls/ a birthday or whatever the weather, this place will not disappoint you.
