🫤 Dr. Walter was alright (nothing particularly good or bad) but he seemed very very rushed. He was in my room for less than 5 minutes. I was there for a simple mole check. He found no issues. However, I was billed for a 45 minute, moderate to severe complexity patient visit (over $200). After speaking... People often mention Walter, skin, patient, Hill, Center, visit, care,

Dr. Walter was alright (nothing particularly good or bad) but he seemed very very rushed. He was in my room for less than 5 minutes. I was there for a simple mole check. He found no issues. However, I was billed for a 45 minute, moderate to severe complexity patient visit (over $200). After speaking with the office about my concerns of that billing being a mistake or fraudulent, they refused to change anything - despite acknowledging the visit was extremely short and clearly I don't have any moderate or severe issues (not even mild!). Go here if you want to be dramatically overbilled!

There aren’t enough words to show my respect for Dr. Fender. She is a brilliant and caring Physician. Kind, patient and compassionate. My Mohs surgeon highly recommended Dr. Fender and I have been her patient for over ten years. I put my complete trust in her. She listens and is never rushed. I believe she is genuinely concerned for my health and well being.

Hormonal acne has haunted my adult life + I spent a lot of time (+ money) spinning my wheels with self-prescribed products, cosmetic services + varying consultations. That is, until I met Dr. Scott Walter: he is knowledgable, direct, realistic + has helped me develop a sustainable program for all my skincare woes. 11/10 would recommend him for all your dermatology needs!

Over the past few years, I would get huge, painful cystic acne on my chin and it was so very frustrating. I tried creams, changed diet, washed my face more, and nothing ever changed - and as soon as I would get rid of one, another would pop up. I saw Dr. Walter about a year ago about this issue and he prescribed me a cream medication that has worked wonders for me. In over a year, I’ve only had 1 pop up (and honestly, I attribute it to me being lazy about putting my cream on at night). Dr. Walter is very knowledgeable and I feel as though he always puts the patient first. I’m happy to see him at his new office as well, the staff has always been very nice. Would recommend Dr. Walter + Hill Center for all your dermatological needs.

I saw Dr. Walter twice when he was with Aboutskin Dermatology for a couple skin conditions. For one of my conditions he issued me a medicine which he did not monitor or consider the side effects of. For my other condition, he gave me no answer for what it was the first time, and the second time, he referred me to an allergist. The allergist told me it was not an allergy and referred me back to a dermatologist. It took me weeks of calling Aboutskin and them telling me they would call and get back to me with an answer about my condition, a month went by, and by then Dr. Walter had left Aboutskin Dermatology. They then said they couldn’t help me unless I went in and paid to see a new dermatologist. I said no, and they referred me to Dr. Walter’s new office with Hill Center Dermatology, and Hill Center informed me that he would not be starting with them for another month, so I had to wait to contact him. After a month I called and explained my situation again to Hill Center, and they tried to make me set up another appointment to speak with Dr. Walter for this issue that should’ve been addressed the first two times I saw him. I told them I’d rather speak with him over the phone about what was going on because I had already seen him for this issue twice. They told me he would give me a call, and he never called me. I gave him two stars because he did help me find a good facial and skin moisturizer and gave me some good tips, but be careful because some of these dermatologists care more about the money than helping you.

I've been going here the past 3 yrs and liked the service but cannot get an appt until mid to last December. I do understand waiting a little to see someone for general skin check but that's a bit much so looking for new doctor.

I’ve been coming here for years and can’t say enough about the entire team and staff. I feel Well informed, well cared for and my skin is thriving thx to their services. Tho I often have to have a small piece of my back removed for testing (not enough sunscreen in my life guarding years ! ), I Highly recommend them!

Dr Fender and the staff at Hill Center for Dermatology are fantastic. I cannot recommend this office enough. They are obviously experts in their field and they make what is otherwise a little awkward encounter with skin checks, totally easy.

From start to finish, a great experience. Was greeted by Tram who collected the details and helped prep me for my visit with the doc—super-friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable, she immediately put me at ease. Then when I met the PA, Greg, it was the same experience with him: welcoming, extremely knowledgeable, patient, and truly engaged in the visit. It’s easy to feel like a number at some providers’ offices, but not the case here at all. Greg both diagnosed some minor skin issues I was experiencing that didn’t need immediate attention, as well as attended to a treatment/removal of a small blood vessel thing near my eye—mostly just vanity for me—and it was resolved quickly and completely. Boom. Highly recommend contacting Hill Center for any dermo-related issues, even if you’re not sure whatever’s ailing you IS an issue (like me). In my experience, it was a tailored, personal visit; a quick in-and-out; and a small insurance copay upfront with no surprises.

Charged $5 a minute and did absolutely nothing. Insultinge by telling me they were still adhering to COVID requirements yet patients were walking in and around with no masks. Pathetic

I am an established patient at this practice and recently called to have an atypical mole reviewed - despite my concern over possible skin cancer, the first appointment they were able to offer was more than three months out. Great doctors, but inability to see them for "sick care" doesn't work. Will be looking for a new practice.

I really liked Dr. Fender for my annual check-ups. She was very thorough and explained things well. Unfortunately, when a concern arose last month, the earliest appointment that I could get was over 3 months out. My name was put on the cancellation list, but I was clearly told that the list was so long that it was unlikely that I would be called up before my appointment. The practice has clearly taken on more patients than they can handle. Recommended for annual appointments, but not recommended if you might need emergency checks - which is concerning in a field where waiting too long to address concerns can literally be deadly. Now I'm sadly back on google looking for another provider.
