Listen... I have always loved an extremely low deal from a semi-shady website. However, when I wanted some advice on a different kind of ski than I've ever owned, I decided to go to Powder7. The process of discussing skis and deciding was well worth the 5 stars. But that is not why I am writing this review. About 4 rides in to my new skis, they had a full separation of the top and bottom sheet along with a destroyed side wall. I took them back to Powder7 and they completely handled the warranty process. Here is the entire timeline: Sunday: Break ski Monday: take broken set in to P7 Wednesday: They inform me the warranty claim has been accepted Thursday: I show up to the store, grab a new pair, and they mount them for me in 30 min. I'm in shock of the customer service. In addition, I decided I would like a difference set of skis (from the same manufacturer) which was no problem for them at all. This is the difference between buying from a shady website and buying from a shop that cares. If you want professional help and complete customer service, Powder7 is the spot.

I had the absolute best experience at Powder7. Blake was extremely helpful, informative, kind, and I walked away with the perfect pair of ski boots for me. He made sure to explain all of the different aspects of how boots should fit, which was exactly what I needed as a first time boot buyer. It is obvious that Powder7 staff are not just going to rush you through a sale and move on - they are truly people you can trust for solid advice. I will definitely be back!!

This is a picture of the pin binding mount job they did on my wife's skis. We brought it back to the shop to have fixed and the mounting tech came out to berate us as if we had no idea what we were doing and this extreme off center mount is normal ("I've mounted 1000 sets of skis"). Well this might be normal for you and your shop, but this is not normal for proper pin binding mounts - it is an easily fixable common issue where the toe piece even with the perfect holes drilled can end up slightly rotated, and simply needs to be hand screwed in with the boot in place to ensure rear binding aligns. The manager then came out making no apology for the tech's rudeness and lectured us for 20 minutes on how it's normal for these bindings to be off center and blamed the manufacturer. Over 1mm off center is completely unacceptable, and instead of making excuses for sloppy and DANGEROUS work, you and your techs should learn how to spend 5 minutes longer on each pin binding mount to get it right. Had a friend who also picked up a set of skis from Powder7 recently with incorrect forward pressure set. These are issues that are visually apparent to anyone that knows what they are doing, and are signs of serious lack of tech skill and quality control - it is astonishing that these were allowed to leave the shop. They re-screwed the bindings in and what do you know, the alignment was much better (still over 1mm off but was done dealing with them at that point). They did refund me for the mount, but I've learned a valuable lesson to not try to save a few $ on a mount done at the same shop I purchased the equipment from. Saving $30 on a mount isn't worth breaking a leg or worse.

I made an order on Wednesday for a new touring setup and was originally told it would be ready Saturday. To my surprise it was all ready to go by Thursday night and I was able to get some laps in on Saturday morning with fresh snow. The turnaround was really fast and I was impressed. I've also done boot fittings here and they are great at making suggestions and modifications (I've had mine punched). For sure recommend coming here even if you think it's a little further away.

Can't recommend these guys enough. Got fitted for boots in October, and after skiing in them four times it was clear they were too big. Easy mistake, they felt great in the shop but got roomy when I actually skied in them. Went back in to see if they could be adjusted, and they instead gave me the same boots in a size down, tested the fit, and gave me new (better) insoles in the new boots FOR FREE. They also took the time to adjust my two pairs of skis to the new boots, also free of charge. Seriously good customer service and honoring of their boot fitting policies. These guys are the real deal, definitely check them out for boot fitting or anything else.

Had a question about a pair of demo skis I saw online so I called, Lauren was super helpful in answering questions and took the order over the phone. Skis looked exactly like the pictures online and were shipped next business day. Will definitely buy from them again.

The staff here truly go above and beyond. Unlike some of the larger ski shops around the Denver area, they want you to be happy with your purchase rather than close a quick sale. Sam worked with me to find a boot that fits me, regardless of brand. He was patient and honest and I'm so thankful!

Today, I went in to Powder 7 to buy a pair of discounted skis and bindings. They didn't have the skis on hand so they simply gave me THIS YEARS MODEL for the same price! SCORE! I cannot say enough about how amazing the woman at the front desk was who assisted me. I apologize for not giving her name out but if you go into this shop know that you will be in the BEST OF HANDS! I highly recommend them. Low key vibes. Friendly, professional, courteous staff. They know their stuff. They won't try to sell you something that will not work for you just to drive their revenue. I needed a ski boot fitting after years of being miserable and in pain while skiing with my boots I got from another boot fitter. I scheduled an appointment with Sam. He was absolutely phenomenal and patient. He spent time upfront asking about the challenges and issues I was facing with my existing boots. Sam then spent time truly understanding my foot geometry. The detailed analysis and the number of iterations we went through took well over 3 hours. I appreciated the fact that Sam didn't try to upsell me anything, and he dealt with me with integrity. He did not just shove something in my lap that other boot fitters tried to do on the ski resorts. I was truly impressed by the time he took in understanding what I hoped to achieve out of skiing and the new boots. The boots Sam fitted me with are working so well for me. I have never been happier skiing. My boots make skiing fun for me now vs the previous pair I was absolutely miserable in. Sam earned my loyalty and gratitude, and earned my business for a lifetime at Powder7. Even if you don't buy stuff from them, I recommend you at least talk to Powder7 professionals, like Sam, before you make a purchase elsewhere, to get honest feedback and deal with people who have integrity and not just trying to sell stuff and make a profit.

Drove all the way from Kansas City just for this place and it was worth it. Huge selection of gear. Made an appointment for a boot fitting and binding installation on skis I had previously purchased from them online. It has been a very long time since I've skied so I had several questions. Just wanted to write a review for the excellent online customer service. Ordered used demo skis online and wasn't happy with them when they arrived. They responded promptly to my email, covered the return shipping and gave me a full refund including the original shipping amount. Considering they lost ~$60 to ship the skis round trip on the interaction I think shows great business integrity and customer service on their part. Would definitely buy from them online again.

I had the best experience with Powder7 to get my new ski boots heat molded. Sam was incredibly helpful and very knowledgeable to get my boots dialed in. I would highly recommend anyone needing new boots or getting their boots dialed into perfection to head into Powder7!

I bought my first pair of skis ever and I was stoked. I noticed a little separation between the edge and the base of the ski, which was nothing absurd and it may not even have been an issue, but I sent a picture over to Powder7 and they immediately got back to me and set aside another pair for me to have. Powder7 is the best place to order equipment from. There was a FedEx delay and they made it right. All the people I dealt with were incredibly helpful and quick to respond. The skis I ended up getting were accurately described. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for skis.

We originally went to another ski shop, but they were unable to get the boot size my wife needed in time for our trip. We went to Powder7 since they had her size in stock and they took the time and care to fit the boots for her and make sure they were the right choice. As they were quite busy fitting boots, I can't thank them enough for giving us full attention and service. My wife was ecstatic with the service and her purchase. I definitely recommend based on our experience, and the location is great on the way to the mountains.

Just spent 1 1/2 hours with Chris at their Golden Colorado store. He walked me through the decision making process and we narrowed an overwhelming number of ski options to one. I had to replace all my ski gear after it was lost in the Marshall Fire. Amanda was ready to help me with my appointment and fitted me in the most comfortable boots I will ever ski in, plus got me a good deal on used skis and bindings. She knows her stuff and made the process as easy as possible on a very busy day.

Powder7 is almost exclusively an online ski hardware and apparel retailer (see their website), but they do have a small front office where a member of the team can assist with their products (fittings and such). They also have an extensive ski servicing shop for all your skiing needs before or after your time on the slopes. Friendly, knowledgeable, and professional staff. The only reason I docked a star is that I snowboard, so I could only shop for apparel.

Ordered a set of black ops gamers online (I’m from Canada), got a phone call the next day that they did not have the skis for a while and it was a inventory error or something. Luckily Mason was diligent and was able to track down the last set they had in their warehouse and got them shipped off to me. I read the reviews after I purchased and was weary but it all worked out and I’m happy thus far. Shout out to Mason and powder 7 from Vancouver island🤟🏽

I made an appointment at Powder7 with Sean M. to walk me through a much needed ski update. I had an idea of what I wanted and he reviewed, down to the granular details, how the skis we had chosen together would perform based on the type of skier I am. Customer service was outstanding.
