This place has delicious food. We had the chicken parmesan. It came with a large salad and basket of bread sticks and Italian bread. We ordered 2 sodas and our bill was $30

We came into town for a concert last night and wanted a bite to eat prior. We chose to eat here because we love Italian. It did not disappoint, my boyfriend had the rigatoni and I had ravioli. The bread and salad were amazing and the entrees were delicious! The man who I believe is the owner of this one man diner was very sweet!! If you’re eating in Johnstown this is a must stop!

It's adorably dated on appearance with an 80s wood paneling, dinner feel, but aromas of garlic and wine make up for a lot. Good pizza. Great Shrimp scampi. The CIA trained owner is hard of hearing but will open up about italian cuisine and world travel before you you know it.

Dominick is a "one man band" at his restaurant. He does it ALL.....with heart. Loved dining there.

The food smelled good, but the only employee—maybe Meco?—didn’t even acknowledge our existence for 15 min after sitting in the dining area, much less offer menus or take an order. (Other customers were readily being served and attended to.) Wouldn’t recommend unless you can wait for very extended periods of time just hoping for basic acknowledgment that could lead to a meal.

A great place for a fantastic meal. Would recommend this hidden gem. Food is amazing and the staff is super friendly. If you need a great dinner idea and do not wanna cook it's the perfect place to try. Once you do it will become a favorite of yours. A wide variety of food options, with items for those people who are vegetarian. Stop in bring a friend or just treat yourself. You will be glad you did

I go out to eat for good food. Great food is served here. It’s not in a terrific neighborhood, he was only taking cash, and the restaurant is dated. So? Visit and eat, you won’t be disappointed. We had the chicken parm and gnocchi, was great. Some people next to us raved about the lasagna. The price and portions are beyond fair and generous. Keep it up sir, we’ll be back!

Meco's Cucina We have been going to this restaurant for a long time now. It was our secret place however I have decided to tell others about this wonder full place. We have never had anything but excellent food here. We were there today and had the Veal Osobucco. This is the only place in Johnstown where I can get this. We have tried all kind of veal, lamb, shrimp, Blackened Scallops, steaks and fish dishes here. They have limited staff so the Dinner menu here is not publicized. However if you call in advance 1 day or a few days before you go. Dominic will make it for you. If you ask for it and are willing to wait a few extra minutes ( he has to make everything from scratch). He will make it for you. He does have some items for gluten free diet on request. Food here is excellent. Dominic is a world class chef. He compares his food with New York, Philly or Baltimore, so his prices can be more than the other local restaurants but are well worth it. They do not have liquor license but You can bring your own wine for a small corking free.

It's small and cozy. A place where you sit and have conversations with the people at the next table. They make you feel like you're part of the family. Dominic came out and had a conversation with us before making our meals!! And they have spumoni Ice cream!

This place is small, but serves a great breakfast. The waiter, only 1, goes the extra step to keep you happy. Other patrons will likely join in your conversation. I said it's small also friendly. Try the omelettes. Parking is limited. Breakfast hours have changed. They now only serve breakfast on Saturday.

Excellent white pizza. Lots of sandwiches and meals, including traditional and hard to find pastas like manicotti and gnocchi. Good prices and friendly service. Good for a quick lunch or dinner. Relatively small so if you have a group of 6 or more, you should probably call ahead.

Delicious food. Reminds me of my italian grandma and her kitchen. The place is small, intimate and it is very simple. The waiter was a wonderful 70+ year old man who made you feel right at home. Great dining experience for something different and off the beaten path.. only down side is it is small, can get crowded and you might have to wait. But it's worth the wait.

Omg. Best meal that I have had in a long time period. Small friendly Hometown restaurant with excellent food. I had a bacon Burger with French fries side salad, and Apple pie and butter pecan ice cream for dessert. The bill came to $19.63 but to me it was worth every penny. I highly recommend this place as they do offer delivery and takeout as well as a variety of soups that are sold from the store.
