Excellent restaurant! Food was amazing, really good, wide selection on the menu. Staff were really good and helpful. We were in a rush to go to the theatre and they ensured dessert was served really fast. Nicely decorated as well

Husband and I booked a table at this cute cosy bar restaurant for our Sunday roast and when the portions came it really didn't look a lot for the money you pay per person. When you put everything on your plate it was just the right amount of food to fill you up! The food was delicious and staff were very friendly and welcoming. If you're ever around Plymouth I highly recommend to pay them a vist

Spectacular food, worthy of a special occasion. Our waiter Jack was attentive, knowledgeable, and made our evening truly special. Had a delicious steak burger, and the cocktails were supreme. The atmosphere was modern and intimate, with all the staff going above and beyond our expectations. Considering the experience, the cost was more than reasonable. Will definitely return soon.

At last !! A very very very nice exquisite place !! After so many years i was overwhelmed by this place ! Food to the perfection level you never expect a restaurant serves like 5 star mayfair hotel in west end!!! Loved it recommend it and its a must place to go and i just edited this as i already really missed the place i wish i was closer and also later they do exist when i go back who ever is close worth try and you will see i was right😀😀😀😀💖💖💖💖

Took French relatives there one evening in early September. We were all delighted with the excellent food and service….a wonderful and helpful team of waiters/waitresses who helped to make a memorable evening. Interesting layout of the restaurant…which works!….no wonder it’s rated in Plymouth area. Innovative and tasty menu….so pleased we went there….it lived up to its high ratings!…and the advice of the owners where we were staying.

Lovely cozy atmosphere, delicious food! We were a table of 5 & each of us had a huge variety of dishes. I enjoyed a scotch egg & a bacon chop! Everything was so juicy, tasty & flavourful. The waiter that looked after us was super friendly, knowledgeable and funny. Thank you!.

Really good venue for a meal and celebration. Relaxed atmosphere with a friendly vibe. The menu offers a good choice of excellent food that is very well presented. Staff are friendly and attentive and very knowledgeable of their menu and ingredients (both food and drink) offering g helpful advice on food/drink pairings. In all, an excellent evening. Christmas Eve 2022, the grandchildren have covid and are not coming to visit me. Plan B - decamp from Bath, bullet down to Plymouth in the early morning and start signing off pubs on the Cask Marque Ale Trail The Salumi Bar is very different from the usual venues on The Trail. It once was a pub, according to a staff member, but it's far from one now. More of an upmarket Bistro, serving refined dining and a comprehensive drinks list.The only Ale on offer, and the sole purpose* of my visit, was Tribute 4.2% St Austell brewery, which was in very good condition and worthy of the Accreditation awarded. *The sole purpose it may have been, but I was somewhat taken by the ambience of the establishment and stayed for a light lunch. Even the starters are quite filling. 'Atmosphere' loses one star because the background music does not go well with the otherwise refined ambience. Something less strident would be more conducive.

Excellent food (I had a beef curry dish) and a good choice of beer (Chef IPA spot on). Service was fantastic (it was a Tuesday, but a fair number of tables were occupied). Defo going again....👍

We love visiting Salumi - but recently obsessed with their prix fixe menu! Super good value at £19 for 3 courses, but the food is soo incredible still and portions mega generous. Highly recommend!

Absolutely Delicious. Salumi never ceases to amaze me with the quality & standard to their dishes. Today we visited as a cheeky treat lunch and we we’re not disappointed. Great little independent restaurant with a good buzzy atmosphere. We had to wait a little while on a Saturday night to get in but had a good time. The food was delicious, well thought through and clearly "created" and prepared on site (they aren't always). Waiting staff good and friendly but did make a couple of mistakes. Not cheap, but quality costs. We found that the sharing platters or things like burgers were better value than the "signature" dishes. Recommended and certainly beats all the chains.

Had an amazing anniversary dinner here. Absolutely stunning. The food was incredible, the staff were amazing definitely felt like I was welcome there and really loved every second of it. I can't wait to go there again!

A delightful little place. Top marks to the staff. They are welcoming, helpful and very professional with touches to service suitable for a high end dining experience. The food was lovely and presented beautifully. I took a point off as serving on paper was not ideal and the menu is limited. Not enough to stop me going there again though. Totally recommend this restaurant.

Really lovely little restaurant. We went there for a Sunday roast which was really delicious. Between us we had the vegetarian, pork, chicken and vegan roasts which were all very good. They bring her vegetables out on the side which I included roast potatoes, cauliflower cheese, mashed up swede and shredded cabbage. Gravy was delicious and they brought more when we asked. The roasts cost about £18.50-20. The restaurant was about half full when we went so I would say it's easy to get a table in advance or walk in for lunch service. I've been here on other days too and the food is also good on non roast days

It is my birthday night, I am here with 4 friends we have just had an amazingly delicious meal. The most memorable part was being served by a lovely young man called Lennon.Only 16 but with such warmth, maturity and impressive knowledge of the menu. We were all Incredibly impressed tonight.

I love this place. Its my favourite place to eat. From prices to the taste I can't praise or recommend this place enough.

Popped in for Sunday dinner after reading the reviews and wasn't disappointed. The food was great, the service was spot on and the atmosphere was really relaxing. I particularly liked how it's sectioned off into several smaller areas, keeping things quite intimate. I went at lunchtime, but plan to go back one evening as it looks like the lighting will make things really subdued and relaxing. All in all, a great little find! **Edit** - a few years later and it's still great food and still great service!

My first time visiting Salumi I had often wondered what it was like inside. I wasn't disappointed as the decor is modern, colourful yet very cosy. I popped in for a drink after being out for lunch with a couple of friends recently & will definitely be going back to try the food. The staff were friendly, very attentive & helpful.

Great Sunday Lunch and best I've had for a long time. Everything was cooked perfectly and very tasty. Dessert was just as good. Service was excellent and the Bill was not overpriced. I would highly recommend eating here.

We have been to Salumi lots of times, as it’s the best roast dinner in Plymouth and probably Devon! The food is delightful whether it’s a roast or from the normal menu everything is superb. The service is as top notch as the food! All the staff are great! Especially the young lad I think he is a manager but he knows everything about the food! What’s in it and can’t tell you how it tastes to a T. We can wait to go to the pan Asia event and the Latin night. Thank you guys for always looking after us and exceeding on the food every time! Your awesome 😊👌

We booked a table for 10 at Salumi for our Grandsons 22nd birthday on the 22/12/21/All our food was excellent and hot.We all had a selection of different meals and couldn,t fault any. We all had a wonderful time and we will definately go again. Unfortunately we had booked for our Grandaughters birthday but had to cancel due to covid.

We all loved the food here. It really is outstanding. Great service and relaxed atmosphere too.

Very good We visited a local Michelin starred Restaurant the night before our visit here, and this stood head and shoulders above it. First class food, a good, balanced menu, well executed. If you want to know how to run a good Restaurant then look no further.

I often have brunch here with my wife. Food is always a bit different, enjoyable and high end. Only one beer in the cask but it’s good and the keg beer is will chosen. Wine selection is excellent. Good value for money

I was fortunate enough to meet friends at Salumi for an evening meal, and I have to say that it was one of the best dining experiences I have had in Plymouth. The service was excellent and attentive, provided by knowledgeable staff, and done without being overbearing. The food is fairly priced, and everyone in our group agreed that it was worth every penny. I am certain that we will come again!
