The food tasted incredible, but unfortunately that is about it. It is well overpriced (paid over 200€ for two without desert or wine). They charge you gastronomic prices with the service of a fast food restaurant. The service is unacceptable for the price you pay. The entire experience took us more than 3 hours for a place half full. Just the entire process of asking for the bill and paying that bill took 45min!!. The servers also don't seem to have the experience to be working in such a high level place, when asked for recommendation about the meats we were just told that all tasted nice, not the kind of advice you'd expect from such a meat place. The place is also very dark, so you can barely see what you eat, a slightly more lightning would be appreciated. Overall great food, but the price/quality is not up to the standards. I would have loved to say that I will come back as I am a big meat lover, but unfortunately I cannot recommend it with the current service they offer.

One of the best (meat) restaurants in Antwerp. Maven is an excellent meat restaurant. The dishes are very tasty and inventive, prepared with care and high quality ingredients. The service is excellent and warm (if you are a fan of sometimes rather personal service, which I can appreciate). They also have an excellent wine collection and sensible pairing. The restaurant is in a beautiful former warehouse that is stylishly furnished. There is a lot of space and a pleasant view of the kitchen. The restrooms are also very special and quirky and worth a visit in themselves. Highly recommended.

The food was extremely good. Not only the meat, but also all the starters and side dishes. We took the Experience Menu and thoroughly enjoyed it! The staff is also very friendly. The club music and DJ booth isn't necessarily my cup of tea, but at the same time, it wasn't intrusive.

It was a long journey of dinner I couldn't resist the melting Japanese Wagyu Kobe beef in my mouth so tender and delicious and the beef shot and the infused tomato salad 😋 will definitely come back again for sure! I had a full set menu with drink and it was just perfect!

Truly amazing dining experience. We ordered the premium menu, but we ordered our drinks separately. The waitress will happily give you advice on which wine to pair with the dish. Its a 4 course meal. All of the dishes are delicious and with the right combination of flavours, which cannot be described by words. The service is friendly and the ambience is nice. It's definitely one of Belgium's best restaurants.

Deliciously dined and enjoyed every last element of every course. Service was very good, we just saw our waiter a little less towards the end and had to wait a bit too long for our (Irish) coffee & he could have asked if I wanted something else to drink since I did not choose the paired drinks. The food was just incredible and I feel it were honest proportions, also for the Japanese Kobe beef. I only noted that some of it, especially the dessert was a little difficult to eat because no additional cutlery was foreseen. But overall a great experience and I would surely return there, preferably when someone else is buying because you do pay for all this quality!

Starting with a Maven Beef Shot, we knew that this would be an amazing experience. The meat was very delicious and the place looks really beautiful. You even feel like dancing due to the DJ playing all evening long. Highly recommended!

The food was on point. maven knows there game when it comes to beef and proper preparation. 4 stars because it was on the expensive side.

Everything about this dinning experience was perfect. Had my birthday dinner here and every morsel of food was absolutely delicious, the ambiance terrific with a nice dj, and the service was top notch. Even the bathroom was an experience. 10/10 recommend!

Amazing experience all around. From the scene, the service, the food and atmosphere. Great settings for a special treat with friends, business or families wanting an unforgettable dinner. So much more than just a posh steakhouse. The value (€145.-) for the "full monty incl. wine menu" was very reasonable. Not only because I didn't pay the bill 😉

Nice interior, atmosphere, oké service, oké food but very small servings. Price is too expensive for the overall experience. They sold me a menu with drinks all in (wine, water, soda, beer), unfortunately it did not seem to be all in because it included only 4 drinks (whatever you choose). Menu has extremely small meat servings and the side dishes, appetizers … aren’t that great. Never going back! Even for half the price, I would doubt to go back.

Great food, IF your a meatlover! The starters were amazing the selection of main ( all different kinds of beefsteak, filet, entrecote, t-bone, cote a l'os) were again perfectly prepared and the sides are great. The desserts are trickier. I like the idea of meat incorporated into desserts but to be honest I'm still sort of a purist on desserts and wast that amazed with them. I'd love to have had a few classics that were just basic desserts. But that's my preference to be honest these desserts are still ingeniously made and live up to the standard set before. Dont go if your a vegan or vegetarian lol... One recommendation I do give is ask not to be seated on the top floor, lighting there is hell, you'll barely be able to read your menu card and you'll mis a lot of the splender the dishes present due to the darkness and bad lightig

EXPERIENCE. Thats how I would define my visit to Maven. It wasn't the first time though but I was amazed again by the hospitality and the service. The food was incredibly delicious, each and every thing served was a treat both for the eyes and the tastebuds. We went for the experience menu and the server made sure he explained us every thing that came by. The wines and champagne was included in the menu price. There could have been more options to choose from when it comes to the dessert. But overall and an amazing experience. Booking in advance is advisable.
