I can't say enough about what a PHENOMENAL experience this was. Not only is axe throwing an obvious choice for a fun outting with friends, but this gem even offers plenty of other adult debauchery. They have a "rage" room where you can obliterate personal objects in the safety of this confined space, and a variety of throw-able items! Huge thank you to the amazingly accommodating and friendly staff as well! I can't say enough wonderful things about Papa Grizzly (owner) and this fine establishment. He literally took time out of his day to offer us instructions, guidance, and some hilarious stories. When we were ready to leave, he even took us to the back for an encore lesson and opportunity to throw "THE BIG AXE!!" From my crew to yours, thank you for your wonderful establishment and the amazing crew you have. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves!! ❤️

Me and my family were Googling things to do in Pensacola FL, and Grizzly Axes came up. So we decided to visit there. We're glad we did......we had so much fun; the staff was so nice and our instructor was very helpful....... GREAT ESTABLISHMENT!!

A group of us from our small group at church decided to go here to try something new. It blew our minds away at how fun this event was. Not to mention how great the owner was who came and made sure that we had a fun experience. He showed us all the different axes And how to throw properly. It was a blast. We are definitely going to be doing this. About once a month.

Our amazing family get together in beautiful Pensacola Beach was made even more amazing when we visited Grizzly Axes for the first time! Our group of 6 adults was greeted with an upbeat, enthusiastic staff who clearly enjoyed their work! Our axe throwing coach Kat gave us newbies ample training (and patience). By the time our two and a half hour long session ended we all felt as if we gained a new super power! I highly recommend visiting Grizzly Axes and ask for Kat as your trainer! As I mentioned earlier, it was our FIRST TIME! Kat taught us the basics and we walked away with a new hobby! She's awesome!!

If I could give ten stars I would ! Amazing, marvelous , exceptional ! We had such a good date night ! The owner “papa frizz” was so personable . Also , demolition room and splatter paint room . Clean ! Good beer . Axe throwing , arcade games , corn hole , and shuffle board . All the good games . I will be back for sure !!

I took my son and a couple of his friends there for his birthday. We had to wait for the friends to show up and there was plenty to do while waiting. They had a pool table, air hockey, asst video games, corn hole etc. It’s a lot bigger than I thought it would be. Every staff member we had contact with was really nice. Logan showed us how to do the ax throwing. He was great. It’s harder than I thought it would be!! There isn’t any “real” food but no big deal because we had pizza delivered. They have beer and wine. Out of Diet Coke so I ran to convenience store to get one. They were extremely accommodating and I never felt rushed. It was a great experience and we will return😀 Thanks everyone!!

We had a double birthday celebration here for my fiance and my twin brothers' sweet 16. PERFECT idea if you're looking to do something cool and unique for a teen's birthday! Throwing axes was insanely fun... so we decided to check out the rage room too. It was worth every penny. (They also had beer on tap... so that was a plus for us adults) There were other games to play, plenty of assistance from the staff, proper safety gear for the rage room, clean bathrooms, great music, open til midnight... the list goes on. This place will definitely be a contender for any future date nights, girls' nights, birthdays or even just to decompress.

Best axe throwing spot I’ve been to so far. Place is huge, awesome bar, and the owner and staff are super helpful and fun! Perfect for big group, date night with spouse, or even family outing. They have regular axe/hatchet, a freaking throwing shovel 🤯, and long axe. Pick your poison!

Great axe throwing experience! I have been to a few others that were great but this place blew them out of the water. Super friendly and helpful staff, willing to teach and coach you at all times, and each booth had multiple axes to use and places to sit. The Rage Rooms and Messy Murals are also good additions for anyone who wants to try other things. Highly recommend checking this place out if you are nearby.

Great place! Plenty to do for the whole family. Good tips from the staff since it was our first time there. My boys enjoyed the Rage Room too. We all enjoyed the axes!

We visited this location after our outdoor activities were canceled due to a storm. What a great decision! The staff are awesome! The activities that are available for individuals of all ages are awesome. Papa Grizzly, the owner, walked around and greeted customers which was awesome. We had an absolute blast! If you’re ever in the area, this is a must-try. It was our first time but definitely will not be our last!

Thank you to Grizzly Axes and the wonderful experience you gave our family while on vacation. For 3 of the 5 of us being first time throwers, Papa Grizzly saw our struggles and came over to offer wonderful advice. Also, showed us a few tricks shot that we would have never imagined trying. It was such a great time and probably the highlight of our vacation. The staff was just super nice, facility was very clean, and had a few other experiences that we didn’t try, but looked like fun. Exceptional experience for our entire Pensacola crew of nearly 30 people. We booked the entire afternoon for a team building experience and had a sandwich shop cater in lunch. The entire staff was awesome, but Will our personal trainer, life coach, mentor and all around nice guy is who really made this experience memorable. His training, safety and engagement methodology is top notch! I was really impressed that Will took the time to learn everyone's names and interacted with us like he's known us his whole life. Will had the entire bunch so engaged NOBODY stepped away from those throwing cages, I've never heard so much laughter and the crew was still talking about it on Monday morning. If you're a business and in need of a great place to strengthen the bond between your team members Grizzly Axes should be your first choice. If you're looking for a family friendly place Grizzly Axes is safe, secure and a perfect place to bring the kids. Even if you're just looking for a fun place to burn a few hours and hang out with friends and family Grizzly Axes has it all! Bring your camera, the pictures we took are priceless! My husband and I took our niece and nephew to throw axes. It was so much fun for all of us. The facilities were clean, the staff was super friendly and helpful and there is a ton to do! We love the ability to add more time to whatever activity and we lived the options of shuffleboard, Mario cart, XL jenga and other games. This is a great place to go for a family fun night or date night. It’s not cheap, but it is worth it! Can’t wait to go back.

Highly recommend everybody trying axe throwing. Definitely not what I expected. The whole family had a blast. Staff was extremely nice and helpful. This was my 1st time and I will definitely be back soon.

This was my first time at Grizzly Axes and not my last. The front staff are so kind to give you the rundown and a beverage while you briefly wait for your coach to prep. Alex is a stellar coach. While throwing blades seems a little risky, Alex laid out the rules to keep everyone safe, but maintained a fun atmosphere, which is full of laughter from other parties. The awesome coaches have the best leadership from the one and only Papa Grizz. He made our experience very unique by giving us 1x1 coaching as we learned new tricks. I’m looking forward to my next visit!! I highly recommend Grizzle Axes for your date, team building, or just solo fun.

This was the funnest time! We had a large group of our Navy friends here visiting from all over the country, so I decided to have a fun day out, and Grizzly Axes did not disappoint! Will was our coach and he is the one who made the experience a blast! He is personality plus! Remembered all our names within a few minutes and was very patient with us all! And funny to boot.We threw all sorts of axes, drank a couple beers and I even got the owner Jeff to show me how to throw a small shovel! Way too much fun. You wont be disappointed.

Such a fun time! 🪓 Highly recommend this unique experience! Plus, Will was an excellent axe instructor and fun game master! They do not have much food (some snacks available though and you can bring your own food or get it delivered), but plenty of drinks, lots of space, clean bathrooms, and convenient location. They have rage rooms and messy mural rooms, we didn’t get a chance to try them, looked fun though!

A big kid’s or person getting away from corporate stress’s haven!! We had a double date here last night and fun was an UNDERSTATEMENT!! When you walk in, you check in and sign a waiver if you haven’t been there, then you walk through a bunch of super fun games (cornhole, giant connect four, a few arcade games, etc) to the alley of axe throwing. You wait for them to set you up by playing the fun games, getting drinks from the bar, OR walking towards the back to watch their RAGE room or paint splatter room in action. The splatter room is an option they have for younger kids so I cannot wait to bring our 6 year old. Once the actual activity starts, they train you on how to throw and it’s an amazing time. But there’s MORE, we were lucky enough to be next to Papa Grizzly, he spent his night chatting with us and made the experience one we will never forget. I saw him doing this with many other patrons at that night. We will be going back for many nights out!

10/10 the owner is an amazing and funny guy!! He taught us how to throw and came back to check on us too! When it was almost time to go and he showed us some cool trick shots too! I would come again and recommend anyone to come as well as a family or couple! Drinks and snacks were good and if you don’t wanna throw there are a bunch of other games to play too! Staff are really sweet and attentive! Thank you!!! See you again!!

Looking for a fun time? This is definitely a place to go. I had gone as part of a group for work and we had a gentleman helping us. It was a great time. Lots of laughs and our “not gunna let us get hurt” guide was great too. They also have other options of throwing things which is crazy so if you’re into that there is that option. 🤣 10/10 definitely recommend.

Went for the first time last night and will say I will be back!! From the ladies up front when you come in, to the people at the bar getting drinks, to the men helping and explaining how to throw the axes it was all wonderful! Everybody is so nice and helpful, the place is so fun and clean. Was having trouble at first hitting the target with my axe and the young gentleman who helped me didn’t leave till I at least hit it once and was comfortable. Reasonably priced and you definitely get what you paid for. Awesome place with great staff and I can’t wait to come back!! ☺️🪓🐻

My first time here but definitely not my last. We had a fantastic time. We played pool and had a few drinks as well. I would definitely recommend going at least once. I promise you'll get hooked instantly.

We recently came here for a work party, and ALL of us had the greatest time!! Coaches Will and Bret were incredibly helpful and funny and had some awesome games planned for us. We will definitely be back! ⚒️

My first time visiting. Had an amazing coach (AC) who gave us all the 'How-To" for Axe throwing. The owner stopped by to say hello. The drinks were plentiful and the price was a great value. Highly recommend.
