Very
good
hotel,
and
I
would
recommend
it
to
couples,
families
and
older
people
-
it's
a
definite
four-star
experience.
On
the
plus
side:
the
food
is
absolutely
beautiful,
and
top
marks
to
the
chefs.
Breakfast
was
very
extensive
and
had
everything
you
could
want,
pancakes
for
the
kids,
gluten-free
options,
healthy
choices
etc.
Leisure
facilities
are
excellent
also
-
the
pool
was
top-quality,
clean
and
well-maintained.
Staff
in
general
were
very
good,
one
or
two
that
weren't
so
friendly,
but
most
were
very
attentive
and
pleasant.
Hotel
decor
is
a
little
tired
in
places
-
they
really
need
a
good
interior
designer
in
the
restaurant
and
the
bar,
and
the
carpets
throughout
are
a
bit
90s.
Exterior
is
a
bit
shabby
in
places,
but
with
a
big
hotel
like
this,
there's
a
lot
of
maintenance
and
they
genuinely
are
modernising
as
they
go
along.
The
room
we
stayed
in
was
very
modern
though,
and
delighted
with
it.
Room
service
was
very
efficient,
and
remembered
one
or
two
things
that
we
had
asked
for
earlier
in
the
day,
which
was
a
nice
touch.
4.5
stars
out
of
5.
Thank
you
everyone
at
Ferrycarrig!
