Was here for a wedding. Loved the room, the service, the location. I'm just lucky I'm not a vegetarian because a friend got a plate of leaves for a starter. We at least got tomatoes and dressing with our starter. The rest of the food was good though. Except for the plate of leaves, everything else was pretty good.

Lovely bar area with good view of the river Slaney and estuary. Situated very near the historic park which is well worth a visit. Very pleasant staff. Nice bar food. Bedrooms are OK. Some rooms have balconies, from which guests can talk and laugh long into the night.

Visited the Ferrycarrig for food on a number of occasions during the past few months. Food was excellent on all occasions, simple unfussy and very tasty. Bowled over by a Salad of all things! Made it taste like you wanted more, and I’m not a salad fan. Indian curry and Potted Apple Pudding were delicious! Definitely Worth a visit..

Midweek deal was great value. Excellent location overlooking the River estuary. Great food and friendly service. No lift at the moment due to works but only had to go 1 floor with very manageable stairs. Works did not disturb. Great pool and gym and each room with a balcony overlooking the river. Great spot for bit of painting. Heritage park very near. Would love to return.

Stayed here with my partner for a midweek break, breakfast included. When making the booking, we were kindly upgraded to the junior suite. It was on the ground floor, with a balcony opening out, overlooking onto the water. Beautiful room, plenty of space, very clean. Bed was extremely comfortable. Staff were lovely. There were two weddings on the night we stayed but you couldn’t even hear any of the music from our room. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

We stayed here for a two night getaway in September with my parents. We are on a two bed-and-breakfast and two evening dinners included. The value was amazing. The hotel itself is set overlooking a beautiful body of water, and the staff are super friendly rooms were a perfect size, well decorated, and laid out. I loved the Nespresso machine in the room. Finally the food was delicious and really well presented by the Chef overall a fantastic two nights and would highly recommend anyone.

We had a family Christmas overnight with dinner, The rooms were excellent, dinner was very good as was the breakfast, The staff was friendly, The music in the bar was good but we could not go in as it was just too loud, why does the volume have to be so high? You can't have a chat.

Stopped in for some lunch. The food was very nice and staff very attentive and polite. Only bug bear would be the lift to the dry dock bar involved a narrow corridor. Hard to navigate when you’re helping an elderly person walk. But manageable. Extra point for having a EV charger

Very good hotel, and I would recommend it to couples, families and older people - it's a definite four-star experience. On the plus side: the food is absolutely beautiful, and top marks to the chefs. Breakfast was very extensive and had everything you could want, pancakes for the kids, gluten-free options, healthy choices etc. Leisure facilities are excellent also - the pool was top-quality, clean and well-maintained. Staff in general were very good, one or two that weren't so friendly, but most were very attentive and pleasant. Hotel decor is a little tired in places - they really need a good interior designer in the restaurant and the bar, and the carpets throughout are a bit 90s. Exterior is a bit shabby in places, but with a big hotel like this, there's a lot of maintenance and they genuinely are modernising as they go along. The room we stayed in was very modern though, and delighted with it. Room service was very efficient, and remembered one or two things that we had asked for earlier in the day, which was a nice touch. 4.5 stars out of 5. Thank you everyone at Ferrycarrig!

My daughter and her partner celebrated their wedding Thursday 09th Nov. We had an amazing day and was made very special by all in Ferrycarrig. Karen and her team were fantastic to deal with and the were so attentive during the initial consultations and planning. We stayed 3nights and all of the guests stayed 1-2 nights. Feedback from everybody was excellent in relation to the rooms, and service from all staff. The food on the day and indeed throughout our stay was excellent. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay and making it so special for Luca and Stephen . Jennie Vickers.

Very handy location on the outskirts of Wexford to meet people for lunch or dinner. Good food, friendly efficient service, free parking with enough spaces. Suitable for business and social meeting over the lunch/dinner table. Spectacular views over the bay.

Everything was great about this hotel. I was travelling with 2 pals. Got 3 separate rooms and as requested beside each other. Have to say all the staff, bar, reception, leisure club, housekeeping couldn't have been nicer. The hotel room were beautifully decorated with a beautiful view. Pool was lovely with sauna steamroller and jacuzzi looking out to again the beautiful view. I will definitely be returning.

Hotel is isolated. 10 min drive to Wexford town. No entertainment in hotel so nights were quite boring. No walking areas? Keep off grass signs out side. Food was OK. Felt portions were small and prices were steep enough. Room was spotless clean. Bathroom was old fashioned and shower was difficult enough to turn on and off. Pool was lovely. Hotel Staff were very nice. I had sciatica and found it difficult to walk. Lower car park was full so I parked in Upper car park. 36 steep steps down to hotel and 36 steep steps up from hotel wen going back to my car. So not ideal for me. We thought our room had a balcony when booking? That was not the case. Also the rooms in the hotel adverts are much more elaborate than the one we had. Asked for an upgrade? Sorry hotel fully booked out? We really felt it was not? Anyways. It's a nice hotel. Clean rooms Friendly staff but we won't be returning 😒

We visited for a wedding. Check in wasn't until 4pm and check out wasn't until 12noon. Perfect for after a wedding that went on until late! The staff were so accommodating, they made us some sandwiches in the bar even though they weren't actually serving food. We also arrived early and needed a shower before the wedding and they said we could use the facilities at the health and wellness centre. We were able to leave our bags in reception and when we came back from the wedding they had taken the bags to the room.

Lovely room with great view of the river. Was away with my mam so it was great the room was so big, with sofa, table and chairs etc. Great shower and beds really comfortable. Loved the toiletries, smelled fab. Really friendly and helpful staff, especially Keith and David in the bar. Amazing choice for breakfast, everything you could want and we ate in the bar a couple of evenings and food and service great there too. Used the gym and swimming pool and again friendly and helpful staff. Will definitely be back

Beautiful hotel. We had a room overlooking the estuary, what a view, relaxing & peaceful. Room could do with better lighting & if the bed was on the opposite wall there would be a fabulous view from it. But the room was spotlessly clean & the bed so comfy, we had the best nights sleep while we were there! We ate in the bar, food & service were excellent. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

We had our wedding reception at Ferrycarrig and we loved every minute of it. The food was excellent and the staff were great to deal with. A special mention to Karen, our wedding coordinator, she was fantastic and really helped plan the day the way we wanted it. She was brilliant to deal with every step of the way. There was some confusion on the wedding day about the table plan and the tables were in the wrong order but overall the place was great. The outdoor balcony area was a big hit. Also, we wanted lots of fairy lights for our decor & they took out the Christmas lights for us even though it was July. Thank you all so much!

Attended a wedding here recently, it was beautiful from start to finish. Such a relaxed atmosphere and well organised. The service and food were excellent I couldn't fault it. The breakfast buffet was delicious. We had a table by the window looking out onto the water. There was a lot of choice on offer to suit everyone. The room was gorgeous, so spacious and very modern. Our room had a balcony and a lovely view. The beds were very comfortable. Enjoyed my stay. I will definitely be back. Thank you ferrigcarrig

The main portion of the hotel is quite nice, the rooms, however, are very dated and need modernising. It's simple things like a lack of power outlets near the bed or any kind of A/C.

What a lovely hotel, with beautiful views. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. A perfect place to unwind and relax. I look forward to my next visit.

Lovely setting by the river with great views. Nice atmosphere and pleasant welcoming staff... The only quibbles are 1) the bar food is quite bland and 2) our room was too warm with no way to adjust the temperature...
